Tinysara's weight loss diary extrordinare!

I'm here, I'm here, finally...I too have been avoiding making a post until I get my ass in gear. This week has been some of the worst eating ever. The thing is, I don't enjoy it...I don't say to myself "oh, it's just this one treat, i deserve it", i don't justify it like i used to. I know it's bad and wrong and I need to get back on the band wagon, but it's also the holiday season and there are tasty treats just about everywhere.

Wish me luck guys, i need a christmas miracle!

Hey missy... turn that frown UPSIDE DOWN!! *made in the voice of Barney*:D :D Sorry, I'm used to a much younger audience, where I can actually turn them upside down in my arms and make them laugh! :D

Seriously though...Don't get down on yourself Sara! You have done amazing things here so far! A few days of "not so strictness", shouldn't reverse any of the progress you have made! ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES... learn how to incorporate the new healthy lifestyle into partying! EASIER SAID THAN DONE!! Have great ones Tiny! :) :)

:smilielol5: When I read this I thought at first you were refering to Barney from the Simpsons. Drunk advice is always funny. :smilielol5:

It's OK! It'll all be over soon. If you can keep yourself in check, try, but if not, just try to keep exercising to help take care of some surpluses, and start anew after Xmas! :D Best wishes to you :)

Hi Sara!! What have you been up too?? Still kickin' ass in the MAA class?? I saw 10 things I.... this past weekend, and had to laugh at the daddy "lines"... made me thick of you. "I want you to wear the belly"!! :D :D

HII GUUUYYYYSSSS!

I missed y'all! I'm sorry I ditched this diary for some time...I was super off-the-wagon, in a rutt, not working out. But now I'm back at school, easing back into my routine, and finally going to the goddamn gym!! WOO!

I know when I was eating 'healthy' before, I was always worried about not getting enough vitamins, because my multi made me really nauseous. Well, I just went out to GNC and bought a High quality Multi, and took it today with NO problems!! Wahoo, I can be healthy again! I actually got their 'vitapacks' which have a multi, conjugated linoleic acid, "total lean" pills which are just green tea extracts, and a CALCIUM pill! Desperately needed! I also bought some fish oil pills...Having been in Nutritional Science courses, I know how important they are, and can't believe it took me this long to get on 'em. So I've got a well supplemented diet now, which I'm very excited about. It's hard for your body to work efficiently during a weight loss period if you don't give it all the requirements it needs!

I'm not going to lie: I gained back quite a bit of weight (at least, water weight) over the break. I feel like I gained 400 lbs! I look like a cow!! Haha hard work will get rid of that in no time though.

My posting will decrease significantly from the amount that I was posting last semester (usually every day)...This semester is much harder and more labor-intensive than the previous one. Wish me luck, though. I've got:
Physics, Quantitative Genetics, Population Ecology, Biochemistry, and Critical Thinking. Yeah. Lets just hope that if i don't post as much, i'll be at the gym more! How about that eh?? :)

Well it'll take me some time to catch up on everyone's diaries, but thanks so much for reading mine...Not sure if I ever say thank you to you folks! You keep me going :)

Love Sara

Sara, I'm so glad that you are back. :beerchug: don't worry about if you are on or off the wagon, checking in here regularly will help in both cases. We're here for you either way. :grouphug:

GLAD to see ya back Sara!!! And here's one for ya... Ever wonder why they don'thave you take "Critical Thinking" the first year of college??? :D WTF, right? That would almost make too much frickin' sense!! GO SARA, GO!!! :) :)

Saraaaaaa, how are you doing your first week back? Wow, your semester looks terrible. Do you have biochem 2580 or 3560? If the latter, study your little buns of, sista. My lowest mark in undergrad right there. Hope you're making it to the gym, and you're partying it up for the first few weekends!

Hey SARA!!! Hope all is going well for you, and you are closer to settling into your new workload!!! Sounds intense, but if you attack it with the tenacity that WE here know you have, you will do fabulous!!! Hope you're doing fine with everything as well!!! :) :)

Hey Sara! I hope all's going well for you. That looks like an f'd up school load you have there. I feel for ya. Drop by and let us know how you're doin' eh!

Hey Y'all!
Thanks for all the kind words. I know I said I'd be more frequent up in here, but this semester has become a twisting black hole, sucking every bit of spare time out of me. So, in short, sorry for being sketchy!

Why this semester has become insane: I joined the wrestling team, for real. I have practice every day for two hours, sometimes 2 practices in one day. Having said that, I've picked it up really quickly and already had my first competition!! It was sooo fun, but also very scary. I definitely did not do very well, but I knew that would be the case. Those girls have been wrestling for pretty much their whole lives, so my two-weeks of skill is nothing on them. Either way, i've learned strengths and weaknesses and I'm excited to get better and better. And I'm on a VARSITY sports team! How cool is that! I'm the first one in my whole family to be in a competetive sport. Woohoo!

I haven't lost any more weight, but I've been getting lots of "toning" and "shaping" comments, and my 'fat-girl creases' ( see: back fat) are non-existant. That's nice and all, but I'm going to really kick up the dieting so I can drop a few weight classes and start wrestling girls who have the same amount of muscle as I do.

More on the Competition. It was in DarwinFish's hometown! It was an 'open', so pretty much any team / skill level could go there and have a go. Unfortunately for me, the first girl I wrestled with was the national champion. She actually hurt me the least out of everyone. Very nice girl, but also terrifying. She had shoulders/guns/back that most guys would kill for. So she made quick work of me and that was that. I had four other matches, and none of them went very well. Oh well. All the girls were really good, so I was okay with it. I'm excited to work on the basics and get them really down pat so I can hopefully get some points at my next competition (2 weeks from now!).

Anyways, thanks for checking in guys. I hope I can make more time to get in here and chat. Have a good week everyone! Stay strong!

Hey Sara!! Good to hear you are doing well!! VERY COOL about the wrestling!! I give you a lot of credit to try and take up a sport at 20 and go against competitors who have been wrestling since they were 8!!! You will get better, and develop way more than the basics!! Great job, and KEEP working hard!!! :) :) :)

Very cool to see you back and post when you have time darlin'... We don't expect you to drop stuff for us (we do miss you though).

starting a new sport at a later age is cool. Sometimes we don't know exactly where our talents lie. My cousing didn't start rowing until he was in college. Two years later he was in the Summer Olympics...

You never know...
