Hey Cita, I will totally post on the team thread then if you think it will help people :D Im just over cautious about what to post i suppose!

Lunch - cockaleekie soup , 2 slices wholemeal bread 300 cals

Dinner - chicken and mushroom risotto 800 cals

Snacks - 1 coffee 30 cals, 1 x kitkat 107 cals, coco pops with milk, 250 cals

Total cals - around 1500
Total cals burned about 650
BMR - 2197

1500 - 650 = 850
2197 - 850 = 1347 deficit
 
I was sooo well behaved last night! No alcohol despite eveyone else drinking a whole load of wine :) i was the driver so i couldnt even cheat! No junk food and i stayed well within my cals and walked the full 4 miles. Today I managed 2 miles in the snow and will dance mat and yoga later.

It took me a minute to catch on but I love the way you're totaling your deficit. I think that would motivate me more on the exercise if I was actually counting it in every day off the food like you are.
 
hey lisa :) i messed up that post i think! unfortunately it was only 2 miles that day! will double check as of now!

Counting the cals burned and deducting them really does make me do it! I want my defecit to be big cos then even if i dont lose weight on he scales, i know it HAS to come off eventually cos the math dont lie!! So long as i maintain a deficit then any gaon on the scales MUST be down to water, TOM or some unknown entity sent to try us!!! Well thats the theory, which is why im being so damn stric about writing everything down!

Im also in the 6 week challenge and my whole team is taking it very seriously so i dont want to let them down! That is def the most motivating part :D

1500 - 700 = 800

I lost 2.8lbs this week!!! Yay!! :Angel_anim: Very relieved as i thought i hadnt lost so much :):D:D I am now at 224.6lbs

Target for next week will be a flat out 222lbs :D

Thanx girls!! I am pretty delighted so will hopefully be encouraged to exercise a bit more this week :) It seems to be keeping in line with the deficits - maybe even a bit over :D

My defecit is pretty low since i got no exercise today :banghead: have been busty in the house and have been moving stuff around all day so i figure i must have burned something! Roll on 222!!!!!!!!!!
 
Been a little lax about the quality of food that i have been having. This is mainly because of circumstance but i def need a large injection of fruit and veg tomorro!

I will def need to step it up tomorrow! I will make sure that i get enough sleep tonight, do 2 miles and the taebo workout tomorrow and i am going to get all my cals from fruit and veg.
 
i really need to get myself into better habits...whenever i have a night out i tend to forget abt the eating plan and then go off track. As yet i havnt lost complete control of teh cals but i can really feel myself getting to that point. :angelsad2: I do not want to fail again and there really is no reason for me to do this. So in my own sad way, i need to plan ahead and make sure that i can deal with this weekend cal and exericise wise, so that i can look forward to it. I have a feeling that i might not lose much this week (no real cardio exercise so far and TOM due) so i know that will get me down on friday...so if i dont hit 222 then i'll jsut need to aim for it next week.

I will still be much lighter in St Lucia than i was in Tunisia! Why does it always feel so much harder when you're tired...this is why i mess up and feel even worse:angelsad2::angelsad2::angelsad2:

I KNOW! When I get exhausted it always screws me up. I can't wait until my weight is down and I have more energy. I don't think being tired will affect me as severely then but I so understand what you mean. And as for the TOM...maybe don't weigh yourself until its over? That's what I plan on doing now because last time the weight gain from it was just too much for me to handle even though I knew where it was coming from.
 
lol nope! thick set yoghurt is amazing with spicy foods :D some indian friends of ours introduced us to the idea and we just love eating it now :) try it - you will love it!
I imagine it's kinda similar to adding a dollop of sour cream to your food?? I love a dollop of sour cream on lots of foods. (fat free of course) :)
 
Hi Lisa :) thanx it is annoying just now but i think you might be right - i maybe wont weigh in this week and just wait til next friday instead...save myself the mental anguish!

Hi Judy :) yep it is very like the sour cream (which i also love) and just takes the heat out of the spices...very yummy!

I have had the weirdest eating day today....all snacky with little substance im afraid. No exercise as i feel very ill - which it s prob a combination of an ear infection and complete lack of sleep. I will def do my taebo after school tomorrow and then walk 4 miles on sat and sun to make it up a bit.

food today has been awful - total junk food with no vitamins and wayyyy too much sugar..grrrrr still under 1600 but only just. i will need to get a fecking grip!!!!!!!!!!! I keep saying that im gonna get my ass in gear acos all this junk is not good for me - no more jelly sweets!!!!!!!:rant: stupid me :(
 
I'm havin the same problem. I don't usually get bad cravings anymore but since last week have been. Not nonstop but when they hit they are STRONG. And I could eat 24/7 right now. Well not RIGHT now cuz I just ate a big dinner but you know what I mean. I hate that not in control feeling when my hormones are taking over and I want to eat us out of house and home. You've got one up on me with the exercise. Just hang in there and keep reminding yourself this'll pass. And plus we're not perfect so we can't expect to do this perfect all the time. You're still kicking some major butt and I'm proud of ya :)
