Tink's latest and final attempt at skinny!!!

Well i am an idiot for worrying myslef silly about that plane seat!! I fitted in no probs at all and was actually very comfy :):)

The holiday was AMAZING but i am sooooo glad to be home. I think i had my fill of 43 degree heat and sun lotion all over the place! And now onto the massive washing pile i need to get through!

Did my usual cant-eat foreign-food-til-i-trust-it in the first week of the hols and managed to settle down in the second week and actually eat something! As a result i am sitting at 225lbs which is a little lower than i was when i left so no damage done by holiday second week pizza consumption! Will def be a good girl from this point on and stop eating rubbish!

So food for today

Lunch - 2 rolls with a 50g cheese, tomato and mayo 600 cals

Dinner - 2 cheese and tomato sandwiches 800 cals 200 ml milk 150 cals

Snacks - two mini twix and milk 300 cals

Well that's the plan anyway :) Total cals Around 1900 ish

A little on the high side but havnt been shopping yet and all we have in is stuff for cheese sandwiches! Will go buy proper food tomorrow :) Glad i managed to do the exercise even tho i felt a bit tired...dont feel so bad abt the high cals!

I'm glad your holiday was nice and your butt fit into the airplane seat with no problem. :)

Great news about fitting into the plane seats - I'm so glad that your mind was eased so that you could enjoy yourself and not spend any more time worrying about the plane seats for coming home.

It is marvellous that you have lost weight on holiday. It looks like you are all set to lose some more weight too.
 
hay ya iam glad you had a great time on the holiday :D you didnt need to worry about fitting into the seats as in febuary i went to poland and i managed to fit into the fits and iam much heavier than you! i hope you reach 224 by friday. ill have my fingers crossed for you!
 
Thanx guys! I really did have a great time and i was SOOOOO glad abt the seat situation! I feel a bit silly now but i was really worried abt it! I didnt need an extension for the seat belt either so i was glad that i bothered to lose some weight before the holiday!

Kelly it is GREAT to see you back!! Margaret, thanx for all the advice abt the plane seats, you really made me fell calmer! Judi thanx for the congrats :) Only lost 0.6lbs so dont think i really deserve congrats!

Well so far so good today :)

Managed to do 2 miles so far and will do the next 2 miles before dinner. Have been up to my eyes in housework all day too...not much fun but it needs to be done! Was going to go to the gym this evening but i have a very upset stomach today so thinki will go tomorrow instead. Im not sure what caused it but i think it might be because i ate lots of dairy yesterday. I barely had any dairy at all on holiday so it seems to be disagreeing with me:ack2:

So food plan for today

Lunch - brushetta on wholemeal bread 250 cals

Dinner - spaghetti bolognese 700 cals

Snacks - 2 mini twix and coffee 200 cals, strawberries and low fat cream 70 cals, apple 80 cals

Total cals Around 1500

Exercise - walk 4 miles with puglet

221.8lbs!!!!!!! A new all time low :hurray::hurray:

Im so pleased :):) I think it helps that i didnt eat anything yesterday except a mini twix and some lucozade - my tummy is still trying to adjust to the food back home i think. Still have very little appetite this morning but will def try to eat something more than that!

I really am delighted as i thought i would be lucky to hit 224 :)

Dont have a plan for today. Will just take it easy and try to do some gentle walking later but im weak as a kitten from the puking and the dehydration. |Come to think of it a lot of this weight could be water weight...hmmm even if i go back up a bit il be happy so long as its under 225 this week!!
 
and the weird illness continues....no food now since wednesday :( i have never felt so ill in my entire life. the only plus side is that i am now down to 216lbs.

the doc has been worse than useless so i guess I'll just have to wait it out and hope that i will eventually be able to leave my house! why this couldnt happen during term time i do not know - i only have 2.5 weeks of holiday left!

Well i am now home after being admitted to hospital with salmonella! I was on a drip for over a week and now that im eating again a nd salmonella free Im finally home!!:party:

Of course the silver lining on this particular cloud is that i have lost 12lbs in 2 weeks :) So i am now 213lbs, which is prob the lowest i have been for about three years! Im really hoping that the weight will stay off now that i am eating properly and im aiming to be 210lbs before the end of august (that would put me at 15st :))

Hips - 112.5 cm (46in) - down 4.5 cm this week - 5.5cm total loss
Bum - 114cm (45in) - down 4 cm this week - 12 cm total loss

Wow there has been some major changes about my body! Salmonella is the best diet ever! Nasty as hell but it certainly boosted the weightloss...it has also made me very determind that having gine through two weeks of hell i am NOT going to put any of that weight back on! I will be angelic and treat my poor body well with lots of fresh fruit and veg. Try and get as many vitamins and minerals as i possibly can, and hopefully my skin will look better cos i look very peaky at the moment.
 
Feeling fighting fit today :):) Decided I'm going to paint the kitchen and my bedroom today...been wanting to do it for ages so today is the day! It is sooo rainy and cold so i dont think il be heading out anywhere anyway :( Plus im sure it's really good arm exercise!

New motivation!

My next target is 14.5st (203lbs). The reason for this target is that I was this weight when i started my job and i would really like to get there soon! Im glad that the salmonella gave my weight loss a boost but i think i need to add a bit of motivation to the process so that i dont just rest on my laurels! So.....new term coming up and im gonna have to buy new clothes anyway - nothing really fits properly now. However, im not going to buy anything expensive as i am planning on getting smaller! Boots on the other and are a different matter! With Autumn coming i was thing ok getting a nice pair of knee high boots. There is a company that supply them in different calf widths so that they fit perfectly and as soon as i reach 203lbs im going to treat myself to a pair :)



They dont look that special but they are more expensive than the usual shoes I would buy and they will last the entire winter :) I cant wait to order them!

Food wise today I was pretty naughty...my appetite is returning and i will have to be really careful or i will end up gaining back some of the weight.

Food plan for tomorrow

Lunch - Chicken salad sandwich 350 cals

Dinner - Going to an italian restaurant so will choose a tomato pasta and avoid the bread basket! Around 1000 cals

Snacks - apple, peacha and pineapple 200 cals

Total cals - Around 1600

2 mile walk with dog
Stomach, thigh and arm exercises

I haven't been in your journal for a little while. It looks like you have been doing great these past couple of months. I'm impressed with your weight loss. It's the Wii fit I'm sure. It's the secret!

I don't go to Italian restaurants that much anymore, there really aren't too many good good ones around me (I can't really stand The Olive Garden, etc...) Whenever i do I always try to avoid the bread basket if I can, and I order a salad as my entree, or if i'm really wanting pasta, I get it and half the portions. I'm not someone who really does a lot of pasta meals anymore anyways. I'm more about the glass of red wine with the dinner, and a salad.

I think a nice pair of autumn boots is perfect. Pointy toe???

Would love to take any sort of credit for the weight loss but im pretty sure it was mostly down to the salmonella...either way im glad it's gone!

I do love italian food - but i will be good! The restaurant we are going to is excellent but im sure i can control myself! Thankfully my appetite is still pretty small - long may it remain that way!

Energy levels are still really low, which is a total pain in the ass!!! Need to get my strength back before term starts next monday and im beginning to think il never feel back to normal! Spent three hours in my class today, just setting up and tidying. I was exhausted!!

Still got the dog walk and exercises to do but i am deermind to do it!
 
Energy levels have been getting better and i managed a fairly wrong walk with the dog today so Im quite pleased :) Managed to walk for forty mins and then do some WII yoga so looks like im getting back to normal.

Also had a great shopping trip yesterday. I am officially now a uk size 16 and i can shop in ANY store i like and buy pretty much anything (so long as it looks good!) :hurray::hurray: No more plus size stores for me now :) I cant quite believe it to be honest.
 
Back into hospital last night with massive stomach pain. I honestly have never experienced pain like it :(:( Turns out that the salmonella has got into my gallbladder and i need to have it removed. Fun, fun, fun! At least they didnt keep me in the hospital and Im allowed to just be normal for a bit so long as i take my meds. I also have to follow a low fat, high fibre diet to help my gall bladder work as effectively as possible so i suppose that is no bad thing!

I need to avoid - alcohol (noooo!!!!), chocolate, large portions of meat, any dairy produce, anything with a high fat content and anything sugary.

Sighhhhh, Im not really allowed anything.....oh well it should def help the weight loss i suppose:Angel_anim:

Lunch - turkeyham sandwich 450 cals

Dinner - turkeyham sandwich 450 cals

Snacks - 2 pks wotsits 200 cals, fanta 150 cals, mini scone 40 cals

Total cals - Less than 1500 but im not allowed to eat anything!

Oh my good god am i sick of sandwiches! I've decided to reintroduce different foods (slowly) and see how i get on. I cant live like this!!!! lol!

I was a bit of an idiot today and drank a cappucino while i was at the hair salon - totally forgot that the doc told me to AVOID coffee like the plague. The result was half an hour of crippling pain until the painkillers kicked in. Prob not my wisest move!

Anyway...food is pretty much the same every day so not much point in posting it. Im back to work tomorrow, which i am not looking forward to very much (surprise surprise!) but at least im going back thinner and with nice hair!

Oh yeah, my friend and i have a great motivator going on now! We have each set a target for Halloween and if we reach it we are going to go out into glasgow all dressed up on Halloween night! Bit silly but it will be great fun and neither of us has been confident enough to dress up for years ;) Im all about the motivators these days but i do like to treat myself! Im still lusting after my boots - only 10lbs away!!!

So Halloween mini target is to lose 20lbs by Oct 31st. That would bring me down to 193lbs (13st 11lbs)

Current weight - 213lbs (15st 3lbs)

I dont think that this is too unrealistic as it is less than 2lbs per week. I will def need to hit the gym big time tho!

Christmas Day Target - 182lbs (13st exactly!) That will be the best present i could possibly get!

Hmmmm talk abt planning ahead! I do like to have specific deadlines in mind for my goals and when i get down to 13st by christmas it will mean that i will be starting the new year with less than 20lbs to lose to get to my overall goal......ohhhh it seems so far away now....loll!
 
That sounds like such a fun idea! You definitely have to post halloween pics after! Sorry you're still so sick...on the upside with all the advances in medicine having your gallbladder removed shouldn't be too bad. Just having to watch what you eat sounds like such a pain.
