I'm going to reserach it a bit more. I know for sure that prior to this April I could've done the Atkins diet with no problem, I was eating hardly any carbs then...at least in the sense of breads and rice. I was getting plenty byway of junk and the like. But now I don't know. I'm trying to figure out more about this maintenance level thing, trying to find a link that will help me configure my carb intake maintenance level...I think that's what you called it RNWoman.

grrrrr i messed up and had a piece of cheese cake i made it last night for dinner and it called my name all day! I have to find a way to do this any suggestions please??????????????? I need someone to make me accountable and make me stick to a diet and i am thinking 1200 cals so many lose well on it

Bowing head down************ I cheated I messed up my atkins i had a piece of cheese cake! But I made a commitment in chat to other people and here is the deal starting in the morning!


1200-1500 cals a day
30 minutes excercise everyday
drink lots of water
post everything in here daily!
 
Looks good Tina..try not to" cheat" (i know i'm one to talk) but when you do, just move on, don't dwell or you'll make it worse..just move on :D

u need to hold me more accountable too :)

I am struggling to and I was so determined
and goal ready yesterday and I visited my stepdad in the
hospital today and he's taken a turn for the worse and I
ate badly and didn't care! I don't want to do that and I need
to know how to deal with bad things cuz I have been prone
to them this year!Any suggestions would be good.
My suggestion to you I didn't wanna say to much when you started
your Adkins because "IT DOES" work for some but if your like me
you feel like your missing the good healthy foods that your not
aloud to have example Healthy turkey sandwhich weight watchers
deserts healthy made pastas high good carb fruits and I think it
makes ya burn out?I dunno but my opion I have done 1200-1300
cals and lost a bunch(with alot to go)and you can eat any food group
even deserts and lose and not feel deprived.
Hope this helps you'll find something that work's it took me 20 years
and I did I just got to figure out how to handle bad situation's?

Omg everyone I weighed in this morn for the new challenge and the cheesecake didnt sabatoge me because I had a wonderful surprise! 238.4 over a pound loss! I think I will do the 1200 cal so i dont feel deprived and can eat healthy foods! Thanx for all the support I reall appreciate each one of you!

I think the excercise challenge is helping me be committed to excercising and making this work!


I am so sorry tammy about your stepdad and i know i am going to try to figure a trick for us to help deal with the emotional eating trigger! I am here if you ever need me and I mean it and I will call or you can call me if you ever need to!

lean meat
lite bread only
lean cuisines
ww meals
lean gourmets
sugar free jello
dill pickles
oranges
berries
grapefruit
salad mixes
celery
Honey mustard
fat free salad dressing
slim fast shakes and snacks (for emergency cravings)

Think that covers it and gives me a variety
 
Congrats on the weight loss!!!! That's just awesome for you!!! My wife's cheesecake is a HUGE weekness of mine! It is better than New York Cheesecake... it made a friend of mine fall out of his chair when he first tasted it! :D
