Thanks.
I didn't make it on to update at the end of the day yesterday because I just was feeling like complete crap and so was actually in bed by 10pm.

Yesterday I didn't realize I would be nearly as busy as I was.
It started out with taking my mom to the airport at 7:20am. The drive should be 40 mins maybe, but took an hour and 40 due to an accident causing bad traffic jams. Driving home thankfully was smooth sailing.
Then did my frustrating workout (see above post).
Had a bit of time between there to relax and have some lunch then headed to the barn to trailer my horse to my trainer's barn for a lesson. This is what I didn't realize would take so long. I mean, I did kinda know I guess I just didn't think about how long it actually takes, plus my trainer was running about a half hour behind. Left my house at about 2:15 and didn't get my horse back to my barn until 6:50. I then had to drive to my mom's house to exchange vehicles and grab my stuff from there. By this time it was after 7 and I hadn't eaten anything since 12ish and knew I still needed to stop at the grocery store then drive home and make food yet. So I quickly stopped by the frozen yogurt place and grabbed a snack from there to tide me over.
I got home and just started to feel really crappy. I can only guess it was from the frozen yogurt or something. I tried my new variation of the napa cabbage salad that would make it a lot less calories. Ya, it was gross. Who'd have thought that taking out a pretty tasteless oil would make such a difference to the taste of soemthing. I threw it out. So then I had to make my chicken wrap quickly. I ate that but that was all I could eat cause I felt so crappy. Thankfully I slept it off and now seem to feel fine.

Lunch: Chicken wrap
Snack: Frozen yogurt
Supper: Chicken wrap
Total cals: 1088

This morning's official weigh in!

Starting weight: 183.5
Current Weight: 149.6 (-2.6)
First Mini Goal Weight: 160 by March 27 *Accomplished March 20th*
Second Mini Goal Weight: 144 by July 3
Final Goal Weigh: 125

Love seeing the 140's!

Thanks guys.
My shop is supposed to close at 4pm but I was so busy that I didn't leave till 4:40. I was done grooming dogs by 3:30 but all the other things I had to do to finish my day took till 4:40. And I'm stuck working tomorrow too. Boo.

Decided to give my Napa Salad one more go. Changed up some of the ingredients. I made the dressing before I went for my run so it had time to cool. Came back and tried it and BLECH! But I think it's the cabbage that tastes bad. I don't know why it would but it just tastes unpleasant. I would get a couple bites that tasted the way it should, but most bites were just disgusting. Made a chicken wrap, which is always delicious.
Had Popcorn and chocolate for snacks. 2 servings of chocolate but I had nothing else to really eat.

My run was hard. I tried to do 5.8 but had to drop it down to 5.6 and almost gave up and stopped but forced myself through it. I did let myself walk 1 min every 10 mins. Total time including 2 min walk warmup and 5 min walk cooldown was 45 mins. Did a 1 min sprint at the end at 7.5 speed. 3.92 miles (6.3 kms) and 492 cal burn according to treadmill.

Lunch: Salad
Supper: Napa Salad, Chicken wrap
Snack: Popcorn, kit kat bites, peanut butter cups
Total Cals: 1492

Running just shy of 4 miles should be hard. Hard is fine so long as you don't overdo it. Great work!

I've never heard of Napa salad, but it occured to me that it would be a funny slang term for having a bottle of chardonnay for lunch. :ack2:

Thanks guys. It wasn't the distance that was an issue. My body wanted to quite in the first minute or 2 that I started to run! Probably more mental than physical.

Had to work today, blech. Went ok though. I brought 2 granola bars for lunch and went to eat the first one and apparently something went wrong during packaging because it hadn't sealed shut and only half the bar was still there. Didn't want to eat that, so instead of the bars I went to subway and got a six inch sub.
Left at around 2 and went to the barn. Was looking forward to jumping my horse in the outdoor ring since I knew the jumps were already set up. Pulled into the barn to see them moving the last of the jumps out of the ring. :( They had a good reason. I had asked them to roll the ring (to help flatten it and make it more rideable) but it was just poor timing. I was hoping they would wait till I left for the show.
So I had to set up jumps in the indoor arena. My horse was quite good today but I need to jump outside again before the show to play around with the bits that we have been trying on my horse to decide which we want to show in. They rolled the ring today which is good, but I will need to move all the extremely heavy ass jumps a long way across the ring to set them up again. On wednesday this week I moved 10 massive standards, 5 poles, and a massive wooden 'coup' across the arena which totalled exactly FOUR jumps! And took 30 mins! Which is what's in store for me for tomorrow :(

Went to the gym after I got home. Did a 5 min treadmill warmup then my Stronglifts weight routine, then headed outside for a 5k run.
5k run took 31:58 mins. Total distance (including 5 min treadmill warm up before weights, 5 k run, and walk cooldown) 6.7 kms (4.16 miles), cal burn total of 563 (according to mapmyrun and treadmill). 6.22min/km, 10 min/mile (6.0 converted to treadmill) pace for my outdoor run.

Lunch: Subway
Supper: 2 homemade pita pizzas
Snack: Popcorn, cookies and cream, kit kat bites
Total cals: 1700

This leaves me with nearly 2800 cals for tomorrow to stay under my weekly goal. Going to a hot dog/burger place tomorrow that has crazy milkshakes so glad I have some extra cals, though I don't plan to eat all those cals just because they are there to eat.

Yesterday was 150.2 and today 150.4. Seems like my 140 weigh ins were a bit of a fluke. One was cause the weigh in was later in the day than usual and the other was because I had a low cal day the day before. So as such, I am not holding my breath for a lot of weight loss on the scales this week.

Pssh, what the f--k does that stupid scale know?!

Nah, you're doing awesome as usual. That 5k run is about to be under 30 minutes! So close, great job on everything. Do your horses or do you train horses to do the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and all that or just show competitions?

Thank you.
I don't do anything involving racehorses, just jumping horses.

Woke up stupid early this morning (between 7-7:30). Stayed in bed till just after 9:30 then got up and went to the gym. I'm fairly certain my 5k run would have been under 30 min today, but since my 2 min walk at the beginning was included in my time it messed things up a bit. I ran half of it at speed of 5.8, then most of the rest of it at a speed of 6.4! Phew! With a 1 min sprint at 8.0! 6.4 is my fastest sustained run yet. 35 mins total including 2 min warm up and 5 min cool down. 402 cal burn according to treadmill. 3.22miles (5.18km) distance.
Then headed to the barn. Spent 30 mins dragging those massive ass jumps across the arena. My horse was quite good, though he felt a little tired. Tomorrow I will probably give him the day off or just a super light work so he has enough energy to show well.
Came back home and showered and got ready to go out to a restaurant with a friend. They have great milkshakes, which is why I made us go there! I also got 2 hotdogs and some fries. It was good, but oh my tummy is in a bit of discomfort from it.
Here's a pic from today

Lunch: M&M's, peanut butter granola bar
Supper: 2 hotdogs, fries, milkshake
Total Cals: 2251

540 cals under my weekly goal

151.6 this morning thanks to the sodium in my food yesterday. I was so thirsty last night I drank 8-10 glasses of water between 8:00-11:00pm, and I thought I would have to get up in the middle of the night to pee a gazillion times but apparently my body really needed that water as I didn't wake up once.

Looking great, Mystic! Whole bunch of progress in really not that much elapsed time. Those roughly 15 to 20 pounds lost hvae made a huge difference. You're doing fantastic.

Whoa, that's a lot of water! I'm almost always dehydrated cone Monday morning, good for you for starting the rehydration process on Sunday.

I also had hot dogs and ice cream yesterday.... The only thing missing were fries!

Looking great MR!!! I guess I'm going to have to start telling jokes in your thread until I can get you to smile in at least one of your pictures. :smilielol5:

I know how you felt with the water. I drank 72 ozs of water on my 25 mile bike ride the other day...and that was in less than 2 hours...and that doesn't count all the water I drank after I got home. I must have sweated it all out because I didn't have to stop.

Thanks guys. I look weird smiling in selfie pics.
I managed to get my dog groomed today at work. I gave him the froo froo poodle trim that everyone pictures when thinking of poodles. He'll get quite the looks for the next while!
I should have done more this afternoon/evening after work. I didn't ride because my horse felt tired yesterday and I need him to have some 'juice in the tank' for the horse show. But I should have at least gone to the feed store to pick up the shavings for his stall and bedded his stall at the show. Now this means I just have a lot more to do tomorrow. I also should have made sure to pack all my horse gear and stuff too, and clipped my horse's legs and such. Arg, so much to do.
I did go to the toy store to try to find something to color dogs with at work. I usually use blow pens (you blow in one side of the 'marker' and it sprays color out the other end, like an airbrush just powered by your own breath) but they are almost impossible to find except online. I heard that this toy store sold a kid's style airbrush, but of course, they was all out! And I have a client coming in tomorrow that wants color!! I do have some dog hair dye but it's just so much more difficult to use cause you gotta put it on, let it sit for a while (without accidentally coloring any other part of the dog) then rinse it off. Plus I think the girls wants pink and I don't think I have pink, maybe she'll be ok with purple.
I also went grocery shopping for the horse show. I got fruit (or fruit like things)! Grapes, strawberries, and watermelon! I also got a few prepackaged salads, and some chocolate ;)
I worked out. I wasn't feeling it so knew that I wouldn't convince myself to also do cardio so just told myself to go for weights. Did my 5 min warm up (0.45 miles, 53 cals) then did my weights. 55 pounds squats, 35 pounds bench press and barbell rows. Can't wait to get the wait up on the bench press and rows. The squats are becoming a pain because I have to pretty much deadlift it, then lift it up and over my head and put in on my shoulders. I sometimes get a hair light headed doing it, so I guess I hold my breath a bit. Once it starts getting heavier I'm not sure what I'll do.
I then also made a lasagna. I think my trainer usually has a microwave so I could take a portion of lasagna with my to the show. Gonna try to stick to 1500 cals during the week and then have a little more leeway on the weekend. Horse shows are always hard for me to stay on track. Last time I lost weight, I fell off track during show season and that's when I started to gain it all back.

Tomorrow I have 3 dogs to groom in the morning. Need to get them done asap, so I can get ready and packed and to the show. I will ahve to first go to my mom's house an exchange my vehicle for her's so I can tow my horse trailer. Then to the feed store to get shavings, then back to my barn to pack and load all my gear (hoping stuff is mostly clean cause I didn't wash nothing since the show, also hoping my horse's passport is where it's supposed to be). Head to the show, unpack, bed the stall, get water buckets set up, give my horse hay, park the trailer. Tack up my horse, ride him, bath him. Go to the office and check in (probably before I ride actually) feed my horse his grain. Then see what else I got time for. Gonna be a long long day. Geesh.

Lunch: 2 peanut granola bars
Supper: Lasagna
Snacks Popcorn, cookies and cream, coffee crisp bites
Total cals: 1499

Good luck on your long day, I second Bug on his smile request. I think we all feel awkward smiling consciously!

& I third that request. I was going to say so, but then changed my mind, so now I'll just change it back....just one teensy weensy smile....just for us! What an exhausting day Mystic!!

Isn't the weight on a rack for your squats? Maybe find a "how to" on YouTube, there are a lot of good videos with that sort of thing on there - one guy's even Canadian, so you don't have to fight the language barrier.
