Looking great! I wish you had not mentioned Snickers yogurt. I had no clue such a thing existed and it sounds simply amazing. Some would mail it in after sleeping a little extra, but not you. Killed the run and then stayed under your calories even with a BBQ, nice work. You're work ethic is inspiring to say the least. That weight goal is approaching quickly, exciting times!

Ha ha to you having thunder thighs Mystic. You SOOO do not! I just noticed that you wear a ring on your wedding finger. Is that a deliberate thing? Just curious xoC

Thanks guys. That pics in the mirror so it's 'reversed'. I have a ring on my right hand ring finger, and on my left hand middle finger. No ring is going to touch that wedding finger! (well, not likely haha).
152.8 this morning. A pretty popular number lately!
So after work I went to the barn and had a nice ride on my horse. Was so warm outside! Then my family ended up getting together at Chili's. We were initially going to my sis in laws place so I was planning to go to my mom's grab her bike and bike over there. Probably 30 mins each way as a guess. But then it switched to the restaurant, it was still close enough to bike to from my mom's house, though would take a bit longer. I ended up taking too long at the barn so didn't have time at all for that. It was so very hard to find a decent dish for a decent amount of cals at the restaurant! I ended up going with a salad (I NEVER get salads at restaurant). It said it was 690 on their website, it didn't say 'dressing not included' or anything like that, but when the salad came the ranch was on the side. So I assumed that it was not included.Went back onto the website and found it say 'Extra- Ranch Dressing 200 cals' So I added that too, then added 200 for the garlic bread (which was not listed at all on the website) so it ended up being 1090 cals for a stupid salad.
Went and looked at the house my mom is going to be putting an offer into. Both my brother's and their families came to look at it.
Got back home around 8:45. Only had about 90 cals left for the day so had some reece's pieces.

Lunch: Chicken Wrap
Supper: Sante Fe Salad, Garlic bread
Snack: Reece's Pieces
Total Cals: 1504

Very much meh on the salad but the ring thing is interesting. I change my rings around (when I wear any) depending on fit and temperature (my right hand fingers are slightly thicker than the ones on the left), but where I come from the "wedding-ring-hand" depends on your religious denomination so it would never be perfectly clear anyway.

I quit wearing my wedding ring about 21 years ago. My wife asked "How are people going to know you're married?" and I replied, "They can see it in my eyes!!!"

Interesting. I didn't know wedding ring fingers weren't always the same finger.

So I went with my mom after work to put in her offer to purchase for a house, and they had Crave Cupcakes. Crave Cupcakes are cupcakes that you really like for the first 4 bites, then it's too sweet and you don't really want to eat the rest, but you do still anyways. Ya I had one, whoops. And ate the whole thing, whoops. 530 cals later.
This left me with less than 700 cals for the rest of the day. Thankfully I was keeping myself busy.
Went to the barn to ride. Had a lovely ride outside. It was about 28*C and sunny.
Got back home and (TMI) had to sit on the toilet for a while cause things weren't wanting to...move. Finally got things going then changed and headed for a run outside. Got to about the 2.5 km mark and my tummy started hurting and asking for me to go to the bathroom. It came and subsided, came and subsided until just before 4 km's where the stomach pain stopped me in my tracks and I realized I NEEDED a bathroom NOW!!! Miraculously, I was right by a community center so I rushed in there and... exploded (TMI! haha). Felt much better afterwards but still not great. It was a very hard uncomfortable run back but I kept my average pace pretty quick.
6.19 mins/km (9.96 mins/mile) which is surprisingly around a 6.0 treadmill speed. Apparently I run faster outside than on the treadmill, which is I guess why running outside feels so much harder. Even when I try to slow down I end up picking speed back up. And the average pace was really slowed down by my 6th mile where I was feeling pretty crappy and had to walk for a little bit. Fastest km was 6:03. 6th km was 6:50. The others were around 6:11-6:17. Distance was 6.02km (3.74miles)
Came home and had supper of Salsa chicken and potato. Was able to keep it low cal enough to have a bit of snack.

Lunch: Ichiban type soup
Snack: Cupcake
Supper: Salsa Chicken, potato
Snack: popcorn, reece's pieces, cookies and cream
Total Cals: 1501

I've had a few of those uncomfortable moments while running.... But rarely do I run near public bathrooms so that's lucky that you were! I had to call my boyfriend once and insist that he come find me immediately. Glad it turned out as well as it did for you :)

Thanks. I was so glad it worked out in my favor.

Forgot to put my weigh in yesterday. Was 152.2 yesterday and 150.8 this morning (for some unknown reason)

Yuck for the poo run and yeah for the weigh-in!

I've lucked out so far with running and bathroom issues. I've had to cut one run a little short and that's it.

Thanks. I was so glad it worked out in my favor.

Down another 2-4lbs from where your ticker says you're at. Amazing :D And you eat such a variety of delicious food. Inspiring.

THanks guys. I blame the cupcake for my running runs.

Had a fairly full day at work today. WHen I left work I was feeling pretty hungry, but ignored it. Had a riding lesson today which meant pulling out some of the jump equipment as well as putting it away. My horse was quite good today. Unfortunately my trainer ran half an hour late which meant that I could no longer make the 8 o'clock yoga class I was trying to get to. I only got home at 7:40. I had quickly picked up vietnamese so I could eat as soon as I got home so I would have a chance to make it to the class but at 7:52 I was still cramming it into my mouth and knew I wouldn't make the class. THis means that since I didn't exercise Monday and today I have to exercise every other day this week to get my 5 days in this week.

Lunch: Ichiban type soup
Supper: Vietnamese
Snack: Kit kat bites, cookies and cream
Total Cals: 1485

Back up to 152.2 this morning.

Didn't ride today as I rode everyday so far this week. Instead I went to yoga. Almost missed my class simply because I started getting ready too late. I hadn't realized I was so late till I got there and the front desk lady had to check if the instructor had already gone into the yoga room. Thankfully she hadn't or I wouldn't have been allowed in. Was a decent class. Not my favorite, but pretty good.

Lunch: 2 peanut butter granola bars
Supper: Bagel w/peanut butter, scrambled eggs w/ cheese and hot sauce
Snack: Popcorn, cookies and cream, kit kat bites
Total Cals: 1505

Hoping for a good drop for my official weigh in tomorrow.

A decent weigh in, but that 150 weigh in was teasing me so a bit sad haha.

Starting weight: 183.5
Current Weight: 152.2 (-1.8)
First Mini Goal Weight: 160 by March 27 *Accomplished March 20th*
Second Mini Goal Weight: 144 by July 3
Final Goal Weigh: 125

This. This is gold. Pure gold.

It wasn't fun! I was just so glad I happened to be so close to a bathroom!

See my last post on the previous page of my diary for today's weigh in.
Work was a bit annoying today. I had accidentally said the wrong time (8:30 instead of 8) when I called to remind a client of their appointment for today so I ended up starting half an hour late. I then had to rush to get done in time to take my dog's to their vet appointment for their annual check ups. My brother has been looking after my mom's doberman for the last while as he can't be at my mom's place, and well they didn't do his nails since I last did them like 3 months ago! Poor dog, his nails were so long! So after his appointment I had to take him back to my shop and cut and dremel his nails as short as possible. I pray that they will take care of them from now on!
Afterwards I stopped by a horse tack collector store. I had to buy something, but I also brought some stuff their to be sold a few months back so decided to check if I had sold any of my stuff. I was expecting $50 on the high side, turns out they had sold $325 worth of stuff! Wahoo!
I also realized the other day that I am a lot better off financially for my new house than I thought. Always a good feeling when you realize that!
Afterwards I went and saw my younger brother's new dog. They picked up a young adult great dane. I'm not sure that it's the best thing for them or that they thought it through well enough. The dog seems sweet, though a chicken like our doberman is. It will likely always be a little bit chicken, but it's a huge emotional trauma for the dog to be uprooted from the family that's had it since it was a baby and to be plunked into a new home. I just pray that my brother and his family don't decide that they don't want it and pass it off to another home. If I have my new home if that does happen then I might have to take the poor girl (though it might throw things off with getting my standard poodle!)
Headed to the barn after that and lunged my horse in the new equipment I bought. At first it didn't seem like the equipment was working the way I want, then suddenly I guess my horse 'got' what the equipment was asking and it actually worked pretty well.
I only finished at the barn around 6:00 and had only had a salad for lunch so I was feeling hungry. I knew I kinda wanted to eat before exercising, but I didn't want to go home and eat because by the time I sat down and waited for my food to be ready to eat, then by the time I sat down to eat, I knew I wouldn't want to get back up again, so I went to Edo Japan.
Got home and changed for the gym. Decided to do hill work on the treadmill as I didn't want to spend an hour working out. I did 35 mins. 2 mins walk warm up, 5 mins walk cool down. 15 mins at incline of 3.0, 15 mins at incline of 3.5. Speed of 5.3 with a 1 min sprint at 6.5. For my 5 min cool down I had an incline of 7.0. Cal burn according to treadmill was 463, and distance was 2.90miles (4.67km).

Feeling kinda lonely lately. I really only have one friend currently who wants to do anything with me if it's not in a group setting. I saw the 'movie friend' (read back in my journal if you want to know who that is) at the BBQ but we really haven't talked at all otherwise. Another friend I tried contacting 3 week ago to try to do soemthing with and he never got back to me. He came to the BBQ but has said nothing about doing something with just me. I really need to find a new pool of friends. It's just so hard to meet new people. Sigh.

Lunch: Salad
Supper: Edo Japan
Snack: Popcorn, cookies and cream, kit kat bites
Total Cals: 1515

When I was into running, I ran 3 miles every morning 6 days per week and 1 day per week I ran 5 (sometimes 6). I got on a pretty regular schedule since I got up at 5 am and ran every morning with no rest days. Well, one morning I was about 2.0 miles into my regular morning run (and about the farthest point from home in my neighborhood route) when I got a similar stomach pang. I tried to put it out of my mind, but it just kept getting worse. Then the cramping. So at this point I had to stop running and start walking. The imminence was reaching monumental proportions as my heart started skipping beats, cold sweat beads were popping up all over my face, and by this time I was walking like I was smuggling a nickel between my butt cheeks. I was heel toeing it like a little old man walking a tight rope.

At this point, I'm about a third of a mile from my house. I'm looking around in people's yards for a bush or something as I heel toed it by but there were not any viable options. Every now and then I'd just have to stop and breath like I was in a Lamaze class. As I turned the corner for the home stretch I was doing the Lamaze breathing, heel toeing, squinching, and praying all at the same time. I made it up my steep driveway, around to the back door, in the house, in the bathroom downstairs and let the good times roll!!! I've never been so relieved in all my life.

Fortunately I haven't had any such experiences since I started riding my bike. But I have some emergency TP in my bike back just in case. When I read your post I started laughing thinking about my experience.

Oh my goodness! I don't think I could have made it 2 miles!

Well, lets start off today with the 'fun stuff'. Cover your eyes for progress pictures! Pics on the left taken March 11. Pics on the right taken today.

Now for a more dressed photo!

Got out of bed early for myself today. About 9:40 and headed to the gym.
Running for 30 min. 2min walk warm up. 5.8-6.0 speed for 27 mins. 1 min sprint at 8.0. Distance 2.90 miles (4.67km). Cal burn of 379 according to treadmill. 25 mins of rowing.(includes 5 mins easy cooldown). 4.62km (2.87miles) 241 cal burn according to rowing machine.
Went to look at my mom's new house to measure things and such. Then went to pick out her appliances. We also went to a couple furniture stores to look around for furniture for both me and my mom. I actually ended up putting a deposit on a couch and loveseat. It's refundable all the way up to when it would be delivered and they will hold it up until my house is built and I can move it. This means that I can keep looking around all the way up to then and if I find something I like better I can just cancel the stuff I have on hold. But I quite like the stuff I found. I'm a bit nervous because it's fabric and not leather and with dogs and stuff, but it's a semi dark grey and they put on a stain guard. It's 600 bucks cheaper (per piece) than the leather or even fake leather couches. My mom also put in a deposit for some couches.
We then went out to a Thai restaurant for supper. Had Pad Thai that was good, though I only ate half so have supper for tomorrow. Also got spring rolls and dessert of Thai Crepes.
I felt super tired all day, and now feel a bit sickish, mostly in my head.

Lunch: 2 peanut granola bars
Supper: Pad Thai, Spring rolls, Thai Crepes
Snack: Popcorn, m&ms, kit kat bites
Total Cals: 1834

Which means I have 2550 cals for tomorrow.

Looking great MR!!!! You can definitely see your hard work and progress showing. That's a big impact in a relatively short amount of time. You should be very proud of your accomplishments!!!
