I am TOTALLY addicted to the show Suits. It is so awesome. If you haven't seen it, I do suggest it! On Canadian Netflix! I didn't ride today so when I got home from work I binged on like 3 episodes, then after my workout I watched one more haha.

Solid workday, like I said, didn't go ride. Had very low steps when I got home so knew I would have to go for ages on the treadmill. Did a full 60 mins. 30 of those mins being those dumb running intervals (5 run, 1 walk).
Ate well, even though I got home 'early' and just lazed around most of the evening (which is when I am prone to snacking) I did work my calories to allow me a snack after work, as well as a snack after working out. I ate my last 2 apples today which sucks, they make a great evening snack, because after a workout I really desire something sweet and cold (I keep my apples in the fridge) so they deliver. Sometimes with PB, sometimes dipped in some splenda and cinnamon depending on how many cals I have left and what I'm feeling like.

Just got back from seeing X-Men: Days of Future Past. It was pretty good. Unfortunately got stuck watching it all alone in theatres. I have an astoundingly low number of friends right now. I really only have 2 GOOD friends and one of those good friend's and I like to be a bit cranky at each other a lot of the time. And that cranky friend is the only reason I get invited to anything with my other 'friends' (who I almost never see unless I'm with cranky friend, because though they seem to enjoy hanging with me while we are hanging out, I'm not someone they would choose to hang out with on their own. I'm not blaming them, I'm a hard person to love, but sometimes it is very hard to have such little support/interaction) The other GOOD friend has a fiance and spends a lot of time with him or his/their friends so if I see her once every couple weeks that's pretty good.

Anyways, pity party over.
Did surprisingly well despite having a lot of down/relaxation time today (which again, leaves me prone to snacking). Worked till 2 then just hung around at home for most of the rest of the day. I made a smoothie around 3:30. I did go do my work out before supper. I increased my running intervals to 6 run, 1 walk. this increased the time spent doing my intervals from 30 mins to 34 mins. Not a huge difference but a bit. In all I was on the treadmill for 60 mins including my walking before and after my run. I then made a tuna sandwich for supper and relaxed till I get ready for my movie.
I did take the elevator when I took my dog out before the movie instead of the stairs due to wearing my high heels, but I took the stairs up, in my heels, after the movie.
I ate so well during the day today that I could allow myself a Mars Bar at the theatre and still stay under my cals!

Today's Totals
Calories: 1395
Steps: 12,000
Stairs: 11 (my fitbit says 13, but it randomly added 2 flights of stairs this morning when I was no where near any stairs)

Calories burned: 2280 (at midnight)

Today's Deficit: 885

Tomorrow may be a really busy day. Might trailer my horse over to a horse show, not to show, but to lesson as my coach is too busy to come to me and I have a big horse show next week. Have to see if I can steal my mom's vehicle (mine is not capable) and make it over in time.

Low friend times are hard (and that´s coming from someone who needs quite a bit of alone-time), luckily they can pass too. Have fun trailering your horse around! Does "lesson" mean he´ll just get more used to all the excitement or will you actually be working with him?

Thanks. I was definitely happy to see that number (well, not really, as I would prefer it to say 120 or so, but for now) as it's starting to go the right direction at a decent starting pace.

I forgot to write something on one of my past posts. I had a bit of a blow to the ego at the gym the other day.
I was on the treadmill and 2 guys that obviously know each other and workout together came in.
I was on the far left treadmill, there were 2 empty treadmills beside me, then a skinny girl on a treadmill, then another empty treadmill.
Instead of running together, on the 2 empty treadmills, they ran on either side of the skinny girl. (and no, they appeared in no way to know her, they just chose to run apart from each other to run with this skinny girl). Thankfully, they were not good looking so it wasn't TOO big of a blow.

Today I was supposed to trailer my horse out to a show to have a lesson with my trainer (and by that I mean that we do actual work him, he's a fairly seasoned show horse by now so doesn't need to see the sights and sounds), unfortunately I discovered when I got there he must have gotten his leg through the fence sometime since I saw him a couple days back and scraped it all to heck. He didn't appear sore on it when I asked him to move around, so I think we could have schooled him (and I did in fact ride and jump him a bit at home on my own) but it doesn't look great to ride around at a show with my trainer with a freshly scraped up leg on my horse. Thankfully it shouldn't affect us going to the show this next week, will just take extra care. I iced it before and after our short ride as well as cleaned it.

I went grocery shopping to try to prepare for my horse show next week as horse shows are generally my downfall with falling off the wagon, and once I'm off the wagon I have a much harder time getting back on. I have a cooler, as well as there will be a little mini fridge I could use if needed, but no microwave so I will need things that are ok cold. Bought stuff for pita sandwiches, bought apples and grapes, granola bars. Actually, come to think of it, that's about all I bought which could get quite boring after a while. I might need to try to think of some other... ooo I could make eggsalad sandwiches! Haha, just came to me as I was writing this, thank goodness I bought eggs!
I wanted to walk to the grocery store but knew that I was probably buying a decent amount of stuff, and some cold stuff so didn't want to be making the long walk back with it. I did however take the stairs up with them (thankfully only 3 bags full of stuff, not my usual like 7+, which I always do in one trip but then I take the elevator!)

I still got decent steps in for the day up to that, about 6000, so didn't need too crazy much on the treadmill. I did decide to walk instead of run as I really didn't feel like running, and I have slightly 'injured' my big toe, probably due to not wearing quite proper shoes. I am wearing 'sneakers' but more the cute flat shoe to wear out and about, rather than straight up athletic shoes. I've honestly just been too lazy to put the runners on haha. Better start to do that. Since I only walked it still took me almost an hour to get the rest of my steps and miles.
I forgot my keys in the gyms AGAIN (second time) only this time there was no one in the gym that I could alert to ask if they could come open the door (you need your fob key to open the gym door) and I couldn't get my other set of keys as they were in my apartment which was locked (and that key was locked in the gym). Just as I was about to start harassing the poor people that have their apartments right by the gym to ask if they could let me in, someone walked into the building and I was able to ask them. I felt a bit like a schmut. These are the times when it would benefit to have workout pants with pockets!
Another day not only staying under my cals (which I want to average out to 1700 a day over the course of the week) but I stayed at my 'weekday' goal of 1400 or lower. In fact I believe I was at this cal intake the entire week! I wasn't even hungry or pining for food! Even during long 'boring' sitting around doing nothing sessions!

Today's Totals

Total Deficit for the week: 6237 (roughly)

Congratulations on getting that scale moving! Also: poor horsey, even if it isn´t sore. Women´s clothing not having (real) pockets (or any kind of practicality, even for outfits that OUGHT to be practical) is somewhat of a favorite rant-topic for me so I´ll keep away from it. Glad you got into the gym anyway ;)

Ooo, there is actually a reply 'box' today!

Today was a long day where I was go go go all day, till I got home at 8:30. Despite the fact that I only pretty much sat while driving to and from where I was going, I only managed to get about 5500 steps today. And since I was tired from go go going all day and hadn't even eaten supper when I got home at 8:30 I did not have the energy to get to the gym and get my steps in. I'm disappointed with myself a bit, yet not really. I've worked hard to get my steps in nearly everyday since I started and I didn't get home at 4pm and just laze around and that's why I didn't get my steps done. No it was because I was very busy all day and really didn't have much time to get them done.
This is the start of a very busy week as I will be horse showing wednesday to sunday, which means after a half day of work tomorrow I have to get a heck of a lot done to get my horse ready, to the show, and ridden, bathed, checked in etc before I can even think of going home. I also will be working for a trainer at the show, not sure if she will need me to do anything tomorrow, but I will be busy almost morning to night for the whole rest of the show. If I don't get my steps in at the show (which I'm thinking I probably will) then they likely won't be happening as I simply won't have the time. However I will be bringing along my own food everyday so I can stick to my eating plan and all should be good. Being busy at the show will help keep me from wanting to sit and snack.
Horse shows are what made me fall off track after I lost 30+ pounds last year so I have to be very vigilant.

On a sad note, I may have killed my phone. I'm crossing fingers that it just got a bit wet, as at the barn I tend to wear it by putting it in the waistband of my pants (between my skin and the waistband), because my riding pants don't have pockets big enough, and so when I sweat (and it's been boiling hot) my phone gets wet. It has never been an issue before, and I didn't even work too hard on our ride, so I'm not sure why now, but hoping that's it and that it will dry out.
If it doesn't start working by tomorrow morning I'm gonna need to get a new phone as I can't be working for this lady at the show and not be accessible by phone to her.
Hired a new groomer today. She starts next week. Hoping I made the right choice in her, will be really glad to have another groomer as long as she works out well.

Today's (non impressive) Totals:
Calories: 1325 (I had to push myself a bit to eat the last 500 of that strangely enough)
Steps: 5500
Stairs: 5 (again, it says 6 but counted a flight while I was driving)
Miles: 2.29
Calories Burned: 1998 (at 11:15)

Today's Deficit: 673

Worked a half day today then headed off to get ready for my horse show for the rest of the week. (BTW, my phone lives!!! Yay!)
A lot of walking involved to get things ready and get around the show grounds. Rode my horse and he was good except for one whoopsie as we were jumping which unfortunately wrenched my neck pretty good so I will be living on advil for a few days till the discomfort goes away.
I had to guess a bit on cals as my trainer's mom made us supper.
Tomorrow I have to be at the show by 7:30, and will probably goes mostly non stop till 9 at night. They will be long days but as long as my horse is good and I have decent rounds I will be happy.
Have to pack up my food all tonight so I can stay on track.

Today's totals
Calories: 1660 (which is below my 1700 cals cut off)
Steps: 11500
Stairs: 11
Miles: 4.82 (I'm 'supposed' to get 5 but hoping that by the time I get into bed today I will have reached that)
Calories Burned: 2460 (at 10:300

Today's Deficit:800

Outstanding weight drop. Must be going around today.

[math nerd]I should go back and see if there was any pattern to whether I weighed less on certain days of the week more than others.[/math nerd]

Your daily and weekly deficits are quite impressive! Sending good vibes for an awesome weight in! you are doing wonderful! CONGRATS!!

Thanks guys.
LOOOOONG day at the horse show, and unfortunately I fell off in both my rounds :( That's money well spent :banghead:
I did SOOOO much walking and it was SOOOOO hot!! My grapes were a godsend because they were cold and sweet which made them so refreshing. I stopped at the grocery store on my way home and got a ton more grapes and watermelon for the rest of the week.
I was so hot though, and fairly busy, that I could hardly fathom eating at times (nearly the whole day), especially anything that wouldn't be cold and refreshing like the grapes, but I did force down one of my sandwiches at lunch time.
I got home at 8 or so and made myself eat another sandwich (I would have just had my grapes and watermelon but since they were not cold I wasn't too enticed by them, if they had been cold I SO would have gobbled them right up!)
I'm not sure if I will eat anything more yet today. Kinda not feeling like it but maybe it will change.

Today's Crazy Stats:
Calories: 955 (I don't like eating so little but with all this heat and everything it just killed my appetite, will update if I end up eating more)
Steps: 19,100 (ya, I said I did a lot of walking)
Steps: 4 (my one low spot of the day, if I hadn't had so much to carry I would have taken the stairs up, but it was hard even taking the elevator)
Miles: 8.21
Calories Burned: 2627 (at 8:45pm)

Today's Deficit: 1672 (hokey smokes, I am gonna try to have a bit of fruit yet but as of right now have ZERO desire to eat)

"Hokey smokes" hey? I love it. (I say "Holy Guacamole!"). What a day Mystic! :D -except for the coming off twice! :(
