Time's a Wastin, and I'm Still Fat.

168.2 this morning.
Just went for breakfast with a friend and had eggs Benedict and hash browns. Hoping to still stay under 1700 cals as it's the long weekend so I have one more day I could be 'bad' in that a normal weekend. Though next weekend will only be a one day weekend so could make up for it haha.
 
Today was good and bad.
Went for breakfast with a friend in the morning. Had eggs benedict with hashbrowns.
Had a pretty good ride on my horse, then stopped at a convenience store and got a gatorade because it had been super hot while riding and I was parched.
My mom and I took our dogs to an off leash park by a river, and walked quite a lot.
I got home and made myself pasta with tomato pasta sauce and cheese.
I then gave in to boredom/craving and had two 140 cal granola bars.
I then had another serving of the pasta I made earlier.

So the totals for the day were
Calories: 2284, this means I can only eat 1800 cals tomorrow to keep within my 1700 per day average for the week (11,900 cals for the week)
Steps: 12,000
Miles walked: 5.15
Stairs: 10
Calories burned: 2213 (at 9pm, so will burn a few more before midnight)


So did a good job on fitbit terms, just less good on calories. Though far better than what I would normally have eaten, as long as I can not eat anymore till I go to bed.

Tomorrow I will be going on a bike ride with a friend (weather permitting). We will probably go for lunch, I definitely won't have breakfast to save some calories (for those that don't 'know' me, I don't generally eat breakfast, only sometimes on the weekend. I simply am not usually hungry for breakfast) I also have a BBQ in the evening. I will try to be really mindful at both lunch and at the BBQ, especially NOT sitting near the chips! When a bag of chips is in front of me I just can't stop.
 
BBQ AND lunch is a hard combo for 1800 kcal but you´re preparing for it so you can do it. Have fun!
 
Didn't do as well as I had hoped today at the BBQ. I had already put my cals into MFP for the hot dog then just added 1500 for whatever else I might have eaten, leaving me about 1000 over my cals for the week.
Did a TON of walking. About 16,800 steps. 7.54 miles. 13 flights of stairs. 2400 cals burned.

This week ( since Tuesday ) I burned 14,348 cals. I ate 11,026. So in 6 days I had a deficit of 3322. Which isn't even a single pound lost for a week since a pound is 3500 cals. I know I would lose water weight and maybe a bit of fat starting out but it won't be enough of a deficit very soon. Sigh.
 
Don´t sigh, you knew it was going to be hard this week because of the three-day weekend. And you still managed a decent deficit! That´s more than most of us manage with only two hard days in a week. Besides: it´s a new week now, new days and new chances to kick butt.
 
Hurray. Did well enough today.
I slept in a bit, then headed straight to the barn to ride my horse. The outdoor arena is finally dry enough to jump in which was great.
After I got home I immediately got changed then walked to the grocery store to pick up lasagna noodles. I've never walked to the grocery store before but needed to get my steps up and was only picking up the lasagna noodles, not anything refrigerated or 17 bags worth of stuff so decided walking there would be a good choice.
Got back from there around 2:30 I would guess and finally ate for the first time. Had my enchiladas.
Relaxed for a while till I needed to start making my lasagna.
After having a piece of lasagna I went downstairs to the gym in my building and finished off the steps I needed on the treadmill while watching Archer on my phone, yay for free wifi.

My totals for today are
Calories: 1400
Steps: 12,800
Floors: 24!! (did a ton of walking up and down stairs, plus up and over a pedestrian bridge over the road on my way to the grocery store)
Miles: 5.72
Calories Burned: 2355 (at 11pm)
 
I don't think i deserve that title for just walking. Maybe once I actually get my butt in gear and start truly working out!

Today was decent. Fairly full work day. Went and rode my horse, he was pretty good though I rode for longer than I was intending to.
Came home and had supper while watching an episode of Suits (LOVE that show!), then went to the gym and did a power walk for 45 mins, with 5 mins cooldown.

Floors: 13 (was originally only gonna be 10, but I forgot my keys in the gym so had to go back down to get them and made myself take the stairs back up again)
Miles: 5.42
Calories Burned: 2303 (at 10:30pm)

Yesterday I had a 955 cals deficit.
Today I have a 959 Cal deficit
 
I think it's important to give yourself credit when it's due Mystic & I think it's great that you are choosing healthier options. They don't have to set the world on fire. EVERY positive decision you make, every healthy eating option, every time you choose to move more is a step in the right direction. Walking is SO much better than sitting on your butt on the couch. 2 great days! Well done xo Cate
 
Nothing terribly exciting happened today. Had to do over an hour on the treadmill to get my steps up because I didn't go to the barn or do a lot of walking during the day.

Calories Burned: 2111 Still only at 95% of how much fitbit wants me to burn. I think I should still get there by midnight, but I wish it was higher

Today was decent. Worked then went to the barn and had a good ride on my horse. I didn't have my fitbit on so not sure the number of steps but did a lot of walking around moving and setting jumps in between riding so probably gained about 1000 steps there, but won't count that towards my steps.
I went to the gym after supper and actually RAN!!! Shocking I know. I walked for 10 mins, then ran 5 walked one till I hit 40 mins (so 30 mins of those running intervals) then cooled out with a 10 min walk. Trying to step up my game bit by bit.
I also ate well, in fact a hair on the low side, but that just gives me a bit more cushion on the weekends.
