First of all- saw your before/after pics- HOLY CRAP, you look amazing! Keep up the killer work :) I wish I had your focus right now, lol, cuz its been hard to make myself keep goin!

Thanks for stopping by! You can do it! Just reminder yourself daily that you can do it and if you slip up jump right back in! My focus goes away periodically too but then I remind myself why I'm doing it and keep on going!

Thanks Marie! I did have a fab weekend but now it's Monday and time to kick some butt! I'm from NW Ontario but moved to Calgary after Uni and both my sisters have been in Calgary for over 8 years now. My parents are snow birds and go to Arizona Nov - May but are coming home for my shag this year and xmas too! I bet since you moved you get more snow in BC eh? The summers must be nicer now though? I heard BC is beautiful but I don't think I could put up with that much snow.
 
Wow! Sounds like you had a really great weekend! I had a smile on my face the whole time I read about it :) How exciting for you with that dress shopping! And I loved how you said "it was fun and I looked hot!" :D Your confidence is just sky rocketing and continues to shine more and more! I am so happy for you:hurray: (size 8). I remember those days and I can't wait to get back in that size. I read your dairy every day and you always inspire me to do good for that day. It's great to see where you've come from to where you are now, it's makes me feel like I can do it too.
 
called my hunnie and said "talk me into going to the gym" all he had to say was "cheese burger & fries" and I decided to go.

Congrats on all your dress shopping this weekend. SIZE 8 AWWWWWWWW!!!!! I had the exact experience in SuperStore when I bought my size 8 skinny jeans. I just about cried when I put them on, they fit, AND looked freakin amazing!!! Best part is, now they're too big ;)

I grew up in Saskatchewan so the snow doesn't bother me. I love the fact there is no windchill. This morning is -22... it's chilly, but nothing like with the wind. And I have to admit, Northern Bc really is beautiful :)

There are some really great vibes this week all ready... gonna be great!!! I'm VERY excited to see where we all are on Friday :party:

Thanks Marie - I'm proud too and really excited about the week ahead. I think this weekend did something to me and I'm starting to realize I have a new body and totally loving it! I love it that you said your size 8's are getting baggy! I can't imagine that feeling but do believe I will get there too! Yeah the wind in NW Ontario is horrible at times! That must be a nice feeling - but it's still around minus 10 here so -22 just sounds awful - wind or no wind! I don't mind the snow once it's here for a bit but I don't like the storm and driving and shoveling! Luckily my hunnie is starting to realize he needs to cut back on junk too and has been doing the shoveling for his exercise - fine by me! Next year we might get a snow blower but just can't afford one this year.
I feel so good about the week and hope to keep the momentum up! 20 min till I get to go back to the gym - I'm going to do 20-20-20 followed by a good stretch and maybe warm up on the treadmill before the class starts!

Ok yesterday was an awesome day and I think today is shaping up to be the same!
Here's how it looked:
Exercise - 20 min eliptical (resistance 8), abs, sides, back, shoulders, bicep machines with 50 jumping jackes in between machines, abs on the mat and stretch.
B- ff yogurt w all bran buds
Snack - 2 cups mint green tea
L- shredded cabbage w 1 apple chopped & ff california dressing
Snack (3pm) - instant reg. oatmeal w 1 cup mixed frozen berries
Exercise - my girlfriend was supposed to meet me and never showed I still did 30 min treadmill (first 8 min incline 6, 4.1 mph, 20 min 6 mph!! no incline, 2 min cool down) 2.7 miles in total
50 min 20-20-20 class - step aerobics & strength training, I left 10 min early because I wasn't feeling the abs part.
D - 2 corn on the cob w light margarine & turkey breast - hunnie totally over cooked it so I only had a small piece because it was very chewy
Snack - s.f choc pudding cup, a couple bites of whole wheat kraft dinner w ketchup
This morning it was -26 with the wind chill (so chilly)! I didn't go to the gym before work because I don't want to over do it but I will for sure go to spinning tonight and nothing is going to stop me! I miss it since I haven't been in over a week! I'll probably be doing some jumping jacks in the washroom today because I'm working over at the mechanical building and it's so cold over here - the little heater I have plugged in just isn't doing it! I might be drinking tea all day too!
The momentum is still up for the week remaining! I'm not getting stressed about the shag because I got a lot done over the weekend and money isn't stressing me out because we got approved for a line of credit and things are great at home with my hunnie! Things couldn't be better! Oh and I found some thong in my drawer that I had bought a long time ago that never fit when I bought them and just forgot about them so now I have like 10 pairs of new underwear and they are so cute - I'm loving me these days.
I have a goal for Dec. 18 to get to 145 which is three pounds away - I'm thinking if I can keep the momentum up until then I should be able to do it - so I'm going to work my butt off to get there! Wish me luck :seeya:

If you keep doin' what you're doin', 145 by December 18th is a totally realistic goal! Way to set another one for yourself :) I'm not sure I'm going to make my goal this week (137..hmph) but I do have a goal of 135 for Christmas! Which I think I can do!

I can't believe how cold it is by you!!! WOW! I'm glad it's only about 25 degrees here. We are getting a major snowstorm tonight - I've heard 7 inches, 11 inches, 14 inches of snow.... oh boy! If I can't make it to the gym tomorrow (campus may shut down) I'm gonna work out in the snow - shoveling the driveway! :D

I saw your pics yesterday and I just didn't have the time to say OMG like I wanted to! My goodness girl that is a HUGE difference! You were beautiful before but now you are just a hot LITTLE number! You are so tiny! That is amazing I am SO proud of you and I really hope you are as well, that is an amazing trasformation, you are going to look so stunning on your wedding day! You are doing great, amazing work outs! I am loving working out in the morning and I would of never done it if I didn't find you so thank you for being such an inspiration and motivation to me! You can lose that 3 pounds for sure, we both have 3 pounds to lose to get to our December goal so lets do it together and really work hard and be hott for the holidays! Great work hun.

You can totally do it and will! Remember my temps are in Celcius - it was -23 this morning too and my car barely started. I guess I have to start plugging it in. I have been more cheerful and like it too! Even my boyfriend said last night he is really happy lately - must be contagious or that we are both getting some again!!

Anyway yesterday was a great day and today is going to be an awesome day! here's how it looked:
B - ff yogurt & all bran buds
Snack - 3 cups mint green tea
L - big veggie salad (romaine lettuce, shredded carrot, radish, green onion, red pepper, tomato, black olives, chick peas & two hard boiled egg whites w ff tomato & oregano dressing
Snack - 1 point caramel bar
Exercise - 1 hr spinning & abs - 45 min on bike, 5 min standing abs, 5 min push-ups & planks, 5 min stretch - I just love this class - only three left and I'm not going to sign up again because they offer spinning at the gym I go to now and just can't afford the extra cost. Plus it's nice to go either before work or just after instead of having a break in between because it's harder to go after being home - I'm really going to miss the instructor though because she is amazing!
D - left over spagetti sauce w 1 1/2 cups SMART pasta (wasn't as good as it was on Friday)
Snack - s.f choc pudding cup & 2 mandarian oranges
Watched the biggest loser finale last night and totally loved it! Everyone looked so good and I only cried about 10 times!! It is so inspiring and makes me totally believe I can get to goal! I was so amazed with all the at home contestants that got kicked off - they kicked some major butt!
I made it to the gym this morning and did a Kettle Bell class however I could only stay for 45 minutes because of the timing of the class but I sweat my butt off and it felt great! Feel so strong today.:hurray:

Congrats on getting yourself up and to the gym in the mornings!!! I use to do that all the time and got out of the habit.... id really like to get back to it again! its tough though... my bed is just way to warm and snuggly hehe.... and there is such a cute man in there too.... id rather cuddle up and sleep my eatra 2 hours most days HAHAHA:cuss:


you are totally rocking it girl..... i can see you joining me in the 5K racing circut here this summer!!!!! If you keep up treadmill workouts like you had the other day... you will rock it!!!
