lol Took a second of listening to realize what it was.Hey, wishes, I bet you'll get a kick out of this![]()
heh its a very good pot - one of those Air Core ones- heat it then turn it off, come back several hours later and you have a perfectly cooked food. That's horrible about the pot and the meat! That's a lot of moneys! I don't even own a pot that expensive, I'd be so upset if I did and it was ruined, lol.

Yeah im peeved that i forgot such an important item, but glad i did it anyway.Oh wishes that sounds great to me - you have ridden a massive amount - finished what you started, virtually made the time you were aiming for, placed right up the order.... I bet the lack of water is still making you a little frustrated but I hope your overall feeling is high and buzzy and proud.![]()
Wishes, congrats on the result -- that is incredible, keeping up that pace for so long. Sorry you forgot the water; I can imagine that made a huge difference, since cramping up just stops everything. Last time I was in a bike race was 20 years ago, but i remember how hard it was. Kudos to you!
Is that a new av pic? my god is that the same person?
Well the race went ok. I left behind my camelpak (3ltr water bag that goes on my back) so i took my daughters school bag with lots of small bottles of water. This meant i ran out of water halfway through the race and ended up getting cramps which sucked.
So my goal was to do the race with an average speed of 30km/ph . that would mean 90km done in 3 hours.
I did it in 3:12 - this includes 5 mins stopping time waiting for a train crossing *grr*, and 5 mins stopping to stretch to try releaving the cramps.
For the most part of the race i was going about 35km/ph but because of the cramps i crawled the last 25km.
I was 26th in my class (female, general) 292th out of 500 total.
