Hi everyone! My name is Thomas and this is my diary. I'm currently at my highest weight which is 472 pounds so I have a LARGE amount to lose. I'm hopeful this diary will help me remain committed to the process. I know there will be bad days mixed in with the good days. My main problem in the past is letting those bad days turn into weeks and then months. My goal weight for now is 250 but I'm sure as I get closer to that goal I will reevaluate.
In early 2012 I lost 62 pounds from my then high of 461 but due to many issues I gained it all back plus a few more. It is depressing and maddening that I let myself go crazy again and gain all the weight back.
But that is in the past so I can't change it....but I can change the future and that is what I intend to do. No...that is what I WILL do!
I've tried all the diets in the past and most work for a week or two but then I go off plan and that pretty much ends that round of dieting. My plan this time it to just eat normal (meaning normal portion sizes) and better (cutting processed foods) since I know this needs to be a lifestyle change, not just a diet that results in temporary weight loss.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
