. Then again, whats the chances this is just another 2 week fad :/
I'm braced for it. After all, I'm a realist. Just when you wonder if you make an impact at all, a surprise visit from me at lunch time (while out on my 2 hour walk) provided me with the visual of broski and wifey eating salads for lunch - all to my specs that I dropped off yesterday.
I gotta say, that was very rewarding for a start. He re-assured me "it's on" (the weight loss). A quick look around the kitchen still showed no signs of replacing all their bad shit I threw away awhile back.
*fingers crossed*
I am very excited about them as well! My boyfriend watched the whole thing with me (to watch for his team too, of course!), and he kept telling me that we had a great draft! I am so excited for football season to start!
lmao !! all you're doing is making me wanna watch some football !! is it pre-season yet ?!?! !!!11
At the rate you're going, maybe you'll be ready for open tryouts this year ?? If you make the team, I want an autograph !!
Hi ya Randy!
I sure hope your brother and his wife will commit to being healthier people...that is the secret. Sometimes I think we all bite off too big of a bite at first and get discouraged. I am guilty of that. Small changes often bring big results. My dad, simply gave up drinking Pepsi and switched to diet Pepsi products and lost like 40 pounds...one simple change. He already plays tennis three times a week, but the added sugar in his diet was hurting him....so if your bro and sis-in-law can make one change for the better, I think they can see the positives for them.
Good to see you're doing good things for you too!
Oh yeah, I'm not stopping my daily deal, you heard it here first !! I did stick my size 12's in my mouth in a half-promise something to the affect of losing 50 lbs. this summer by switching to sugar-free soda and decent foods.
I didn't get that benefit because I was on diet soda looooong before my wl but I feel in my heart this change will support my prediction, given they allow it to happen.
You're a good man for trying to help other people, especially family.
Have a good week. Mwah!
*wipes mouth* yummy surprise ya nailed me with. I'm glad I brushed my teeth this morn
We'll see how good of a man I am if he fucks this up....

<--- He don't want none of this
I agree with you, Beth. I think his brother is probably feeling way overwhelmed at the amount he needs (or should) lose. You have to start small. Cut back, take small walks. Don't try to do everything gung ho your first week out. I hope he can find the strength to make the little changes that will count in a big way.
Randy, I'm officially a graduate with a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. So, I guess that means the next bike ride I am certified to lead ;-)
So this could be perceived as:
A.) You didn't like looking at my ass last trip.
B.) You want me to look at your ass for 26 miles this time in all fairness.
C.) You want your educational dollars at work even in playtime - which would really freak me out.
I truly emphasized small ball changes. He'll spook way too easily with a truckload of shit to master straight away. I knew he couldn't absorb my methods. WLF has taught me that the general population needs to go about wl in ways I didn't. I'm ok with that.
