haha mana, it's slowed down considerably in the last few months - which is a good thing. Most of my days are filled with joy, control and lots of low impact, high endurance exercise.

Bruce knows a good thing when he see one. He probably also knows there isn't a woman alive that doesn't grumble from time to time. It didn't take long for me to understand why he knows you're a 'keeper'

Hope this isn't a rerun, have a trucker joke for you.
A truck driver was driving down the highway when he sees a priest hitchhiking on the road. He stops to pick up the priest, but he has a few misgivings about giving him a ride; usually when the driver sees a redneck on the road, he hits them -- with a priest in the truck, he'd have to swerve. But the driver decides to pick up the priest.
A little while later, he comes across a redneck hitchhiking. He decides to just swerve and let this one live when, all of a sudden he hears a "BOOM!" The driver looks over at the priest, who says, "Don't worry -- I got him with the door."

The man, who was a priest, said. " I am a Father."
The little boy replied. "My Daddy doesn't wear his collar like that."
The priest looked up from his book and answered. "I am the Father of many."
The boy said. "My Dad has 4 boys, 4 girls and two grandchildren and he doesn't wear his collar that way!
The priest, getting impatient, said. "I am the Father of hundreds" and went back to reading his book.

Big day for me.
I took my D.O.T. physical. I'm certified by law having met ALL health requirements to return to the industry that left me in dire health - check that, that I left myself get into poor health.
I closed a couple doors by taking the leap of faith. I pretty much entered a paper trail that says I'm no longer disabled. I'm pretty much committed to seek out the real world like the rest of you now that I pulled the parachute cord.
This may very well say I'm not considering school anymore either. I wish I could say why I won't take this opportunity because it did seem enchanting - for awhile. It's just not where my heart is leading me though. Time is not on my side. 27 or even 37, I'd probably jumped all over this - 47 changes things considerably. The one thing that school can't change is my need to be an earner much more sooner than 2 or 4 years from now.
I feel good about my decision. I love driving those big trucks and until you do it, you'll never understand it. It was what I was meant to be, I believe. I worked hard to get back to what I loved. Though I'm not at my 'goal' weight, I feel I've come full circle. To me there is no bigger success than what I did today.

Congratulations Randy! That's incredible news. 
As far as your age goes, the time is going to pass whether you are in school or not. But if your heart is in the truck, then that is where you belong. I would love to know where my heart is...I'm going back to daycare work in a week, but it's not my calling. I'd love to figure out what is, before I get too old. LOL!

As far as your age goes, the time is going to pass whether you are in school or not. But if your heart is in the truck, then that is where you belong.
You have a lot going on for yourself - young, good looking, hot bod and a personality to kill for. It's that god-forsaken tundra region holding you back.
Sometimes a traveling heart isn't all it's cracked up to be DQ, I just know this is where I need to be for awhile (on the road).
Like my weight, I want to smooth yet another facet of my life. I'm bored with just sitting here, I did my time and now it's time to get something happening. I might add this DOT card just opens up the door, will I step through it ?? time will tell.
This post probably reflects the 15 months I've spent on one subject and shows the blahs that comes with it.
So just go to Canada and take a left, eh ?? and I'm there ??
