Good morning, Randy and Happy Easter!

Bruce and I are probably the only two people in America who DON'T watch American Idol. I catch the highlights from morning radio....its not that we don't watch TV...heck, no....we have plenty of other shows that we are sucked into....*sigh*

Hi! I just wanted to stop in... the first few pages of your post made me giggle. You have a great attitude. Congrats on all your sucess! I'll definately be turning to your posts when I need my moments of inspiration

Thank you Cannon and backatya (again). I think I forgot to watch it more times than not this year. Hockey usually dominates my TV in the evening and with the Pens having a solid team after all these years, it's hard to pass up on watching.

I have never voted once in my life.

Sports freak here - you name it, I watch it. I don't follow AI with a passion, IMO it's played out anyway. I do have a weakness for Big Brother though. I'm looking forward to TV season diminishing here.

Well thank you Ajna, I guess I need to see your diary and get your 411. We like to giggle in here, losing weight is hard enough without having some humor to balance the day out.

Especially with one a vote a week being your scorecard, that's a looooong wait to know if you can eat or not. Trust me though, the chick launching the strike could've went quite awhile without food, well longer than most people if you get my drift.

A moment of thought:

I have been blessed with seeing a handful of people who joined here roughly about the same time I did and now I'm seeing their results in pictures. It has been a long journey for them and now they're just wowing me with their effort and commitment not to mention the relentless 'never surrender' attitude.

I'd like to extend to those people a huge congrats !! You are truly incredible people to continue your determination and keeping your chin up, never stopping living the dream you knew you could make a reality.

I'll throughly enjoy our efforts to our prospective finish lines. I'm glad we had a chance to bounce off of each other on this trip, you've all made this fun.

I always use this forum as a point of reflefction and to remember that even if i have never really "met" you all............you are always with me in my struggles and moments of weakness........in my file box of support.........I pull ya out and think "ok so and so is stickin this out and damn it so am I"!!!
I could have never got this far with out all of ya!!!! THANKS!!!

Another 4000 pages couldn't express it - honestly :) The freaky thing is even though it's an individual effort ultimately, the team spirit is ever present and carries us a long way too. I wasn't prepared for the value of this forum when I got here, admittedly.

I'm not in-depth enough to understand your reference Sir, but if it's out-pricing the fans, then I'm in that club too. My loyalty to the Pens went form 'we're bored and the Pens are playing tonight and we can all go down for about 30.00 each to signing a personal loan to attend'. I think the average Pen ticket is about 90.00 and another 15.00 to park the car not to mention 'beverages and snacks'. Even for the 'average working Joe', it's still a stretch to be loyal at those prices.

I could get on a rant about Mario's belly-aching as well. He really got lucky with a good team this season and bought leverage to rape the Pa. tax payers for a new stadium. I think collectively the average resident was will to see them off to a new state.

oh let me hit the powerball and that will all change !! I can easily envision a weekend at Vegas - my treat, with all the accommodations. I could just image about 12 of us from here telling lies and comparing stretch marks till the sun rises :D

Hi T2!! I agree this place is great for the support. I did the first part of this all by my lonesome...*teary*, then came along WLF:D :D :D !! You are one of the many people on here who inspire me, and are honest with people!!!
 
Support is the one thing I have this time that I never bothered with before. That, and keeping track of nutrition. That, and having a good exercise plan. Oh hell, I'm doing a lot of things differently this time, but you're right -- the support we give and receive here makes one hell of a difference.
 
I'm not one of the ones who has been around as long as you have (in more ways than one :p), but that was the sweetest thing! You really are adorable sometimes, even if you are Pens fan.
Ok, ok. Don't hit me. I really don't have anything against the Pens. But right now I'm just incredibly angry about the whole season because I watched my Canadiens get dicked out of the playoffs by the likes of the Toronto Maple Leafs *spits* But thanks to the Islanders, I can now dance on their graves. :D

I am actually looking forward to it too. I love summer (most everything is in re-run) and we get out more after work, instead of hunkering down for the evening in front of the television.
