Seriously, it does feel great :) and it exceeds anything I imagined 13 months ago, and yes, there's something to be said about good fitting clothes - it does matter.

Don't worry Randy...capri's are still in .....at least for another season....the designer clothing party I went to on Sunday was showing lots of em... I really like them too! Just gotta get some smaller sizes. :)

So on to today, well it was a wicked day. I did things in a stupid order but mission accomplished all the same.

I did 10 miles and that was the last trek for my New Balance 600's. I got 3 blisters pushing my luck and delaying a much needed purchase especially pushing these kind of distances.

I limped into JC Penney's and bought a pair of 451 New Balance (on sale of course) and while I was at it I went over Walmart and bawled like a baby at the Schwinn Skyliner I couldn't pick up. I had planned on taking my cigarette money and parlaying it on this beautiful pedal machine. Such is life *sigh* I did buy a couple pair of Starter nylon shorts (WOW are these COMFY !!) - sweat shorts cut-offs just aren't cutting it anymore - and I got a handful of much needed XL T's too.

I probably should work out on the stationary this month anyway in preparation for the new bike - probably time well spent. Our weather is going to total shit after today (was 80 here today) and with cut up feet this is more than likely the path of least resistance for me temporarily.

Every piece of XXL clothing is gone. I took the leap. They looked positively ridiculous on me and I see no reason to keep a hold of them. Bagged up and vamoose !! Good riddance !! I did try one a L Starter zip up hoodie today but didn't buy it, though I could probably pull it off. I really want the bike more than stroking my ego right now so we'll just let it hang on the rack till I can safely get myself in position to buy it.

I'm in good spirits today otherwise. I don't think you guys know just how stoked I am about myself right now. Yep, I bragged :)

Wow!!! Great job on the walking.

It is totally amazing to me how similar our paths along this weight loss journey are sometimes.

LOL, here is a list of stuff I have done in the last 2 weeks: Bagged up and threw out or gave to Good-Will everything that was a 2X. Spent about an hour or so online at zappos.com looking at new sneakers trying to get an idea of what ones I want to try since I am in need of a new pair because my New Balance 608’s have more than enough miles on them to be retired. I also have been looking online and at Walmart at new bikes, I thought it might be fun to ride again and a great way to get in a workout during nice weather. Unfortunately I don’t have the funds to buy one right now either and need to save up to get one. I am hoping I will be able to get it within a month. While I was at Walmart I tried on a Large tee shirt, it is one of the ones that is supposed to wick away moisture. It fit well so I bought it to wear while working out.

Hope you have another great day (in spite of the weather) and BRAG on brother, you have earned the right and deserve to toot your own horn once in awhile.

Yep bro, we be twins ;) well super congrats on the L tees !! I can honestly say I'm not quite there yet. That's pretty much a finish line size for me and even then it's gonna be snug I think.

Really sucks the 608's are a discontinued model, by far my most favorite sneaker to date. Early into it though I got good things to say about the 451's. I knew I wanted to avoid the 600's this time around. I've only seen the 608's online and I rarely buy stuff online.

Geezus Fenster, we both need a sugar momma !! lolol

I got a lil walking in already and going out here in a bit again but no huge mileage tho.

I just like telling my story, I hope it's not bragging so much as it is helpful to some.

I got about as much chance of being 'sexy' as I do dating Julia Childs but I won't argue I like this Randy much more than the old Randy.

Well, I am not really into the Large size either, I think that particular shirt runs a little big, but it still felt good.

I did not realize the 608's were discontinued, I was just looking to get something a little lighter with more ventilation for the one warm month we will get this summer.

I got a little walk in already too was a 1.5 mile walk during my lunch break between rains.
 
arg man you guys make me feel young, i swear capris were like soo 10 years ago :)
Mind you, i did buy my first pair ever, but only because they were girly pink with cool zippers and stuff. Capris disguised as cool pants :D
 
You bunch are too chatty today. I feel as though everything's been covered and I have nothing to contribute. You've left me defenseless and unnoticable. So I'll just bust out a hitch-kick and do a fancy little turn, then punch a hole in the wall and moon everyone. That'll show ya.
