Well I'm proud to have my daughter for Christmas and we've had a great holiday so far. We started out yesterday visiting my parents as per tradition and stayed for the entire Christmas Eve.
I got through yesterday without major damage. I had one banana up till Christmas Eve dinner plus I took a 3 mile walk earlier in the day. For the dinner and the entire evening, I had 4 lite beers, 1 hotdog bun-sized meatball sandwich, too many handfuls of mixed nuts (weakness of mine when present) and handful of regular chips and I supremely attacked the relish tray for the bulk of my snacking and 2 bowls of salad. No candies or pastries. My Mom always orders 5 Domino's pizzas to accompany her finger food and light cooking, I kept the fast food streak alive !! while the pizza looked yummy, I just couldn't bring myself to eat it.
Today will be a bit more challenging
Again, tradition lives on with me cooking a Christmas breakfast only I'm down-scaling it this year to english muffins, ready serve bacon (love the small calorie count on those ) and home fries. I'm really not a breakfast eater and I'm sure I can get out of this in the 400 cal range - maybe.Today we have a mid-afternoon Christmas dinner back at my parents house and we'll have to see what transpires there menu-wise, probably roast beef and the fixin's. Mom has gotten away from the traditional Bakala fish bucket-soaked in Marinara sauce for 2 days as our Italian specialty stores have all closed up a decade ago and finding the cod has become next to impossible.
This has been a great Christmas clothes-wise for me
Everything has been XL (and fit !!) but I will have to return some jeans that were 42's and too big to keep even if a 40 is a bit snug yet - gotta think ahead, right ?? I really love the fleece orange zip up my daughter got me and I can't wait to wear it walking.Welp, time to get busy in the kitchen and I hope you all have a joyous and warm Christmas !!

I did well today but exceeded some limits, oh well for all intentional purposes, Christmas (food-wise) is over and what's done is done. I feel like I got through the holiday on the good side. I feel no guilt what-so-ever for stretching the belly out a bit with a great dinner 24 hours with my daughter was the best gift a father could have - even better than losing all this weight in fact.

I did not let things get too far out of hand, but I absolutely over indulged the past two day. I knew full well that I was going to enjoy myself and eat things and quantities that I normal would not so I was extra focused and did really great up until Christmas eve. No worries though and no regrets, starting tomorrow I am back on track and hitting it hard.
I went to my parents annual Christmas eve party where I saw some of their neighbors that I have not seen since before I started losing weight. There is nothing better for the ego and your motivation than a bunch of people sitting around telling you how great you look, LOL, that never gets old.
Have a good evening T2, get some rest and lets resume the journey first thing tomorrow.

You are right. I wouldn't trade yesterday. We had some family, that I haven't seen in 4 yrs! It was so bittersweet. All that time passed, kids grew up and new ones born! My gosh time flys!!
