Anyways, Randy, I know your busy today, I hope it all goes well for you

I"m gonna head out for a walk soon !
Undone being busy for the day - Whew !! I'm kinda pissed off because my dentist told me my partials wouldn't be done till March. So much for getting my teeth for Christmas, at least I have all my front ones.
I'm glad to see you out walking today. I hope you get addicted to it like a few of us on here. There's no substitute for exercise and good foods, people on 'diets' are only fooling themselves.
Oh OOPPSS, shame on me, did I do that again, I really gotta get the diaries and threads straight... What can we do to smarten me up and change that
LOL ... you have any ideas ??? heeheehee
Yes, I have a few ideas. Here's one of them

Hi (again)

....and whats with that name???? hu......

)
anyhoo have a good one dude and keep ridein that trolley of success!!!!! STAR
Trolley was the only think I remotely liked on Mr. Rodgers. I knew I was destined for a strange life when I understood Trolley's dings or maybe I was an advanced 8 year old *shrugs*
You never fail to crack me up cowgirl
Sometimes I LOVE days where I get to be out and about and away from the office..some days..I want to just stay in... but when I move to canada....that's gonna be COMPLETELY different... all outside work for me! Can't wait to be honest!
Yeesh !! Canada + Outdoor Work = Extreme Manliness. I think I missed that window of opportunity, but we can both agree on the outdoors as a whole as 'the place to be'
I wanted to come by and thank you for the support in my diary, it means a lot.
And LOL@all the comments about Walmart. I hate it too and I haven't stepped foot inside one for about a year, and I don't plan to ever go back into one, they can forget about getting my business.

Don't ask why. lol. So instead I go to Target or Kmart or anywhere else I can... Cheapest prices aren't everything...
Have a great day T2.
Anytime, the pleasure is all mine
As far as Walmart domination, well they pulled it off in our small town. 2 grocery stores and countless retailers closed up within 5 years of their Super Center opening here.
Does this make me mad ?? No.
And here's why: Central Pennsylvania was highly immigrant populated from european countries, mainly Italian, German, Jewish and Irish. Harsh jobs - mainly mining - were taken by the Italian, Irish and Germans leaving the Jewish Community to dominate the retail aspects unchecked. Retail flourished during the upswings and survived all the downturns. Retailers took the voice of community through calculated resistance to new growth with outside companies bidding on tapping our high unemployment rates in return of keeping depressed workers at low wages. People had to move to survive.
My graduating class had an enrollment of 370 (1977) now it's usually in the high 100's of Seniors in our school system. Even though our population shrunk considerably, retail still enjoyed their generous mark-ups and sub-standard wages until Walmart came into town. Our Mom and Pop stores cried and bemoaned Walmart's prices. They couldn't compete and eventually ran themselves out of business. All the years they denied Strohs Brewery, General Electric, Green Giant (to name a few memorables) access to our resources they did the proverbial 'can't see the forest through the trees' until Walmart brought the chainsaws and cut down their ever-loving last tree.
I don't care for Walmart any more or less than the average opinion-less person about their existence, but the last 2 years has taught me the value of a dollar and I know this much, Walmart does give me a fair shake at stretching my money more than these other greedy Hitler's that ran this town for the last 2 centuries.
-just sayin'
