Hey QT :) I'm sitting here patiently waiting for permission to say HI _ _ _ _ _

I'm just serious about your name, it's a great name but anyone with a 5-letter name is awesome automatically aren't they ?? ;) :p

5 letter names rock! how'd ya know! lol, me and my brother have 5 letter names and our other brother and sister have 7 letter names and thats how my mom always teamed us up...instead of girl and boys or older and younger...fives and sevens...lol my mom was an elementary teacher before she retired to raise kids and be a weirdo.

my name shall remain between you and I for now. just cause I like the mystery...and its like we are in a secret club...okay...I'm just trying to give you a silver lining.

great video today...it so reminds me of a rat pack movie.

You'll get it back soon. Talk yourself through it. That's what I do. And I do it out loud so you know I look stupid. But I feel better!! LOL:D

I ditched the stationary in exchange for a 3 miler at the big track due to it's gonna rain this afternoon and it won't get out of the 40's so I had to grab it while I had the chance. I will ride after supper if nothing else, probably won't be here long enough to do an afternoon ride.

Motivation is usually never a problem for me, I just have to get myself in a groove for my new routine - it's all good.

If there was ever a weekend that totally captivate my social confidence, it was this weekend. There is no way possible I can be stopped to getting to my goals. I enjoyed this weekend and I'm certainly looking forward to many more - uh, the kind when I was really obese that weren't possible. Yeah, one of those weekends. ;)

I'm so sorry to hear about you daughter. The fact that you have stayed strong, and are powering your way through this is huge.

Love your holiday plan. *sends you 'get in the groove' brainwaves*

danke, I'm hardwiring those as we speak. Finding my inner strength on this journey has been a beautiful experience, no denying that. The mental toughness of this lifestyle change is unrivaled to any other challenge I ever set out to do.

Why tell this story ?? Because no matter what life throws at you, you have to be stronger than what's in front of you. I can't solve today's pressures by bending over and giving in to them. No solution was waiting for me at a drive-thru. Would allowing emotional eating to help ease my daughter's situation ?? I separated the problems from the reality. You may see this as a bad day for me, I see it as a great day.

Make life count.

I picked my next video for my daughter: Destination Unknown.

First, I'm really sorry that you and your family have to go through this but if your daughter is HALF as strong and smart as her daddy she WILL make it through this.

Second, I am so PROUD to say I "know" you. You really help me to see things for what they are and to plow through life, weight loss aside. You are very inspiring and I'm sincerely grateful to know you. Thank you for sharing your story and your strength as an example for us all. *hugs*

Are you saying what I think you're saying?????? If so, I hope you have many more good weekends ahead. I wish I did

Just wanted to say, I caught up on the diary, and had to mention, you sound like an AWESOME DAD!!!! And just so you know, women love that in a guy...hint hint. ;) :D

The next video spinning on MTV on WLF is a very earthy video for a local cause with a global message. This guy has to be the coolest lawyer on the face of this earth. I'm not so much an enviroyuppie but the man makes a solid statement and brilliantly mapped a huge hit heard around the world that otherwise woulda dropped dead in his copo office without the aide of MTV.

Be back later, just got called from the Red Cross to give blood so I gotta jet.

I read about your daughter and I wanted to tell you that you an amazing guy and father! You are always so posotive and strait up! I want to thnk you for being my friend and let you know how special and wonderful you trully are and you are very much appreciated here in this forum!

What up, Dude?

Looks like you are doing great! Keep up the good work. Just drop by to say,Hi. You did good with your daughter. You were there for her and she will always remember that. Bueno Bye!

Ditto on the "knowing" you. More than likely, inspiring stories are fruitless without backing it up with the energy and spirit of someone like yourself.

So few on here push it down the pipeline and deliver it to the end user like you do. I love your team spirit on here. You definitely earned your pom poms *\o/*

Awww thank you DQ. I'm sure it's rough in a town with a 1000 people, really slim pickin's (probably an understatement eh)

My best guess is it probably does mean what you think it means

So sweet of you Tina. You make it very simple to be friends, you're kind, unobtrusive and sensitive and always say the nicest things. I did feel bad taking a hardline with you but I had only hoped it would snap you into a successful diet. You will find your niche' and you will be successful at it. Just don't ever give up my friend :)

T2- I hope your christmas goals are conquered! You definately have the women swooning on this message board!!!

Thank you Heidi :) I'm going to give it a whirl - win, lose or draw. *blushes* @ swoon.

Hi T2! Hope your daughter can stay motivated to get treatment. You are an awesome dad. Hope this week is better for you!!

Thank you beckster. Our fingers are crossed. I feel pretty upbeat about the events that follow for her. I know she can do this. I think the best I can do is zipper my lip and let those who specialize in this field do their thing. I'll intervene when it's time for hugs and stuff.

Hey Red dog, thanks for the kind words. Nice to see ya back in the forum - been awhile. We can use all the bark we can get around here ;)

So often people waste time wondering why? Why did this _____ have to happen to me? Why do "bad things happen to good people"? Here is the answer. Because in the midst of your suffering you can give others a glimpse of inspiration. I'll keep your daughter in my prayers. I'm sure her "road ahead" is bound to be bumpy.
