Video update on MTV on WLF:

Today's selection is: "Wherever I May Roam" by Metallica.

I picked this video for it's connection for my love of the highway and my extensive upbringing as a hard rocker - Metallica sure qualifies beyond a doubt.

This is one of my standard 'first songs' that I lead off with on my walks and is in the #2 slot on my iPod. I never lead off with this song on 5 milers or I'll start out too hard, too fast and not leave enough in the tank for the stretch drive.

click on the icon and enjoy - and hide the kids, no need to scare the hell outta them seeing us geezers headbangin', not a pleasant dinner table conversation yanno what I mean ??
 
Just stoppin' by to say that I took a look at your before and after pics...awesome job. Hardly looks like the same guy.

I've been working out to Guns 'n' Roses "Appetite for Destruction" lately. I like to scream along while I'm on my treadmill. *grin*

Justs topping by on a gloomy day to say hello!
I used to be a "BIG" Metallica fan back in the days and I always
jammed to the ride the lightning/kill em all/master of puppets/
in justice for all/mt alltime fave has to be Creep n Death or
for whom the bell tolls, umm battery, umm shortest straw geeesh
theres too many!!I cou;d jamm to those again I have been
listening to some Janes additction/porno for pyros dunno why
just in the mood I guess a few nights ago the "door's"lol!
Well hope you had a gr8 day sorry to go on and on I just love

Thank you bw :) Some would be surprised to hear it's been more fun than work getting rid of that 'other' guy. I'm totally looking forward the final drive to my goal.

You can bet your last carrot bunch that G-N-R will be on the rotation - it's simply inevitable :)
 
I SCREAM out singing GnR on my walks - only a couple of times has a cyclist come whizzing past me as I'm belting one out...

Oh yeah, those are embarassing moments ;)

oh hell yes !! Pets and Hard Charger are on my iPod too !! Sad thing is I pretty much stopped watching MTV when P4P and Metallica and G-N-R were winding down and MTV went to shit. I stuck it out as long as I could after Headbanger's Ball got canceled but MTV was never the same :mad:

Even though I was a rocker, the early years of MTV had some great vids and I plan on airing them too. Some may blah some people but that's how I roll. It was a good era IMO. ;)

Well who can't help NOT singing along to G-N-R ?? My singing of Paradise City probably scares small animals in 2 square mile radius !!

hehe, on the trail I get the sneak-up-behinders :eek: yeah, they did the look thing more than once.

The track I can gauge all the walkers and I know when to lip sync or zipper lip it.

The deck out back is my stage !! I OWN that stage !! ok, I admit - I've made a neighbor or three look up a couple times.
 
Great...now my wish of wanting a stage is the FIRST thing people are going to see when they see this page.

I'm glad I erased the comment about wanting a pole for the stage too!
