oops - I got confused by your avatar - the one with the woman! lol ... Anyway - male or female ... we should keep you around :p :p :p

Wow, you are doing great!!!! 90 plus pounds already. What an accomplishment.

You know, I think we all know our bodies pretty well and we know what will and what won't work for us. I'm sure that as you continue to lose more weight and increase your activity you'll make adjustments with food and calories so that it keeps in line with whatever point you're at.

So I say just keep on truckin' :D (I know, that was pretty cheesy).

Thank you BizeB :) Just the title "Super Moderator" turns me on but you had to stroke my ego and make me get a forum crush on you didn't ya ;)

Epi - no harm, no foul. I didn't play fair putting up that chick pic. I trust you're still in the good graces of your diet and making headway. Soon you will have the 'Hi-Pro Glow' ;)

Scarlett - dammit girl !! ya done made me hungry for some cheez-its !! (kidding) thanks for the kind words. Will you marry me ?? (kidding again :D)

Ugh ladies, my daughter gave my lower ab pouch a name today. She called it a 'front butt' :( after I was done lmao, I wanted to cry *sniff sniff*

Well I have a July challenge waiting in the wings and hopefully I can knock off most of my front butt in the process. I'm so ready for this. I'm so glad the forum will be here for my next step.

Like your diary!

T2-

I admire and respect how you are losing weight! You sound totaly healthy and happy! Reading everyone's diary is so much of an inspiration!

Also- Don't be too sad about the 'front butt' thing- I say stuff like that to my dad all the time and I don't really mean it =-)

Thank you again for the inspiration,

-Nightporter-

Oh WoW !! as soon as I saw your av and sig, you won me over.

Thanks for the words and good success on your quest.

hehe, my daughter and I may be pulling off going to college together, that's how this front butt thing came to surface. I have funding in place for schooling/training so I won't have to return to the crippling job of driving tractor-trailer again.

We both went on an admin tour today and cruised the campus. Pretty awkward drooling on yourself checking out the 'scenery' and having your daughter tell you to stop it. She's a good kid tho and she's certainly my biggest cheerleader *\o/* right now on my lifestyle changes. I'm not sure college is gonna be my cup of tea but I'm sure glad she's enrolling and has the ambition to pursue her higher education.

Long live the 80's !! my sig is a lyric from an 80's song btw..

Hey!

"Suddenly Last Summer" - Awesome song!

That's so cool about college- My dad should do that!! I'm still not sure about college myself... You know, no more writing no more books, no more teachers dirty looks!!

Your daughter sounds so nice... I'm guessing she's a daddy's girl? I guess I am too LMAO.

Do you like Japan and David Sylvian too... That would be wicked awesome. Most people have never heard of them! And don't worry- I'm trying to get a group of people together who will bring back the 80's!! Hopefully I will accomplish this mission! Haha.

Best wishes,
-N-

Lol, my mom "threatened" to enroll in college classes the year that I went off to university! I didn't exactly encourage the idea, though! :p

Hi trucker!!
Thanks alot for stoppin by my diary. You've lost so much weight! :D Everytime I come on your diary and read how great your doing it reminds me ok I can do this. ;)
Stay healthy and have a great day. :)

Yes she's a daddy's girl and has the spoiled attitude to back it up ;) lol, she's a trip.

I wanna say Brilliant Trees when I try to recall David's band, but relying on my memory is always a dangerous thing to do.
Rock your Goals -N-

W.I.P.

I'm kinda leaning away from university-type education, maybe a trade school. I'm more of a 'don't fence me in' kinda guy.
Stay strong on your loss WIP.

Hi Lazy. Hoping you make it through the day unfettered and wiser for the quest you set out to meet. I'm one of your biggest supporters on here.
Stay in the mindset Alicia, you will win this challenge, I promise.

Sending out my diet love to y'all !!

I love your music knowledge !!

LOL thanks!!

And about Brilliant Trees- I can say that that may be my favorite of his solo albums! It's so cool to meet someone else who knows his work.

And from reading everyone's diary- July 5th can't come fast enough!

Again, great job on your weight loss!! I have so much respect for that!

Major forum winks ;) to everyone fighting the good fight !!

Ugh !! another major holiday = another assault on having our diet armor dented :(

I'll tell ya what weightlosers, keep your guard up over the long weekend and plan on having some fun along the way. A holiday isn't a furlough from staying disciplined so we have to make a plan to juggle the best of both worlds.

Enjoy those BBQ's !! just be the person who is going to refrain from having that burger or hotdog in a bun.

Don't get caught offguard at your picnic without a relish tray or a fruit platter. Take it upon yourself to be the one to bring the good stuff, attack that tray hard and often :)

Don't be afraid to bring your own diet drink or low-cal/carb beer

Lean yourself out a bit before and after the 'main event'.

Challenge yourself to get in that whiffle ball game you avoided the last 8 years, take that walk in the beautiful setting of a state park where you all assembled. Try eating your meal standing up so you don't sit in one spot and pick and nibble everything.

Travel light. Don't load up the car with C-store junk, buy your gas where you swipe the card and don't even have to go into the store. Take your travel breaks in rest areas and walk for 5-10 minutes. Avoid looking for vending machines.

Plan.
Enjoy.
Stay in the fight.
Weight yourself Wednesday and smile :)

Thanks for the words of encouragement T2!!! It helps a lot!
Your enthusiasm is contagious!!!! :D :D :D
Makes me want to run out side and do jumping jacks .... oh wait it's like a hundred degrees outside ... I'll do 'em when I get home!!
Woohoo!! you have a great weekend!

that was great advice, things are winding down at my office now people are all leaving for the long weekends, I'm glad I read that before I left!!!:)

Thanks!!!!

T2 you are my new official cheerleader!! I hope you don't mind me appointing you so without even consulting you, but the pay is good and the perks are great!!!! :D

I haven't checked on you in two days, I get back and now you're up to 94 POUNDS!!!!!! You're like a steam train rolling!!! Very appropriate ticker I would say. You have totally steamed passed your halfway point and it's all downhill from here baby!!!

I have to say I am a little concerned about you going back to college though. I mean the girls are gonna be on you like ducks on june bugs and how in the world are you ever going to get any studying done?

So few things in life are sexier than a USC cheerleader sweater, but me being in that sweater would not

You can PM me about those perks ;) You got my full attention  hell, no pay may be necessary  :p

Can you imagine the embarrassment my daughter would have to endure ?? "Hey Melly, your Dad is dating a sophomore !!" :D Melly replies: "I'm older than that &^*$)&*# sophomore you twit !!"

Prissy: Mammy, here's Miss Scarlett's vittles.
Scarlett: You can take it all back to the kitchen; I won't eat a bite.
Mammy: Yes'm you is, you's gonna eat every mouthful of this.
Scarlett: No... I'm... NOT.

Frankly my dear, you've been on this diet since 1939 it appears :) How's that workin' for ya ?? ;)

Ugh, just to let you all know I'm human, tonight has been total sufferage. On a scale of 1 to 10, I spiked a legit 9 wanting a big order of hot wings and cold beers. 2 carrots and one lite yogurt plus 3 packs of Dentyne sugarless cinnamon gum later I'm on the downside of the craving.

Sometimes it gets so bad at times I have to say it outloud "I've come too far to mess (not the actual word) it up now".

Well today is the start of the July Challenge.

I knew at the very beginning that I was going to be exercise-challenged, well after 4 months of walking and getting my legs under me, I'm pretty steady now and taking this plan to the next level.

100 'sink ups' (a push up using the kitchen counter and angling the body about 45 degrees)
100 Jumping Jacks
Toe Touches (yes I can actually touch my toes)
Deep Knee Bends

I'm shooting for 5 sets of 20 spread out over the course of the day. If all goes well I'll increase when (if) the soreness goes away.

I did research to find out the best exercise for 'front butt' removal and several sites said the same thing. Crunches will not remove front butt, only weightloss
(and lipo - not an option) will. Crunches just build up the ab muscles underneath the fat layers and don't convert that area into new muscle.

I hope we all have the best weightloss month of the year so far, all this great weather and things to do, there's no reason for us all not to just melt off some serious pounds dontcha think ??
