Gooood Mornin Toots! I didn't complete highschool either, but passed the GED thing pretty easily. Then got my degree, happiest moment of my life so far. Never thought I'd see my name on any kind of degree, let alone one that says "univeristy of.." on it.

Congrats on passing the class, 99% - holy man!! Aren't we Mr. Fabulous!!..lol ;)

Good for you T2, Im still a high school drop out - i just happen to have a knack for computers and have been in high demand for many years now :D
Its hard telling your kids to go to university and stuff when they look at their mum whos gone so far without it all.

Sheep skins are overrated if you can walk the walk and talk the talk. Bottom line - if it makes ya a paycheck, don't matter what high school was.

Here's some high school drop outs, you be the judge:

Albert Einstein, High School Drop-Out
Thomas Edison, Public School Reject
Michael J. Fox, High School Drop-out
Peter Jennings, High School Dropout
Dave Thomas, Wendy's Founder and High School Drop-Out
Henry Ford, High School Drop-out
Eminem, Entertainment Mogul and High School Drop-Out
Kevin Bacon, Movie Star and High School Drop Out
Lucille Ball, Star of Stage and Screen, High School Drop-Out
Jim Carrey, Comic and Dramatic Actor, High School Drop-Out
George Harrsion, Former Beatle and High School Drop Out
Jude Law, Hot Young Actor, High School Drop Out
Evel Knievel, Stuntsman and High School Dropout
Quintin Tarantino, Filmmaker, Actor, and High School Drop Out

Thank you Korrie :)

If I have any extra trouble left over, you want some ?? :p ;)

well, thats awfully nice of you to think of me ! I think i'll have to pass though, I have enough trouble of my own..that and I really doubt you'll have any left over anyways, lol

Not to be "knocking" college and all, but I also know a few people who went to college for nothing really. My mom ended up loosing her job and her licence eventually, and then my sis in law went to college, but found out her current job was paying her more than a job that required her degree would

Dayum it!!! I should've dropped out...maybe it would've increased my odds of being rich in the future, worked for those guys! :p :p

But seriously, I am super proud of you T2!!! :)

Edit:
There's a quote that if I'm saying it right says, "It's never too late to be what you should've been." I've got it on a bookmark...gotta look it up for the exact saying, but you get the idea. Congratulations for being courageous enough to go after what you want.

^^^^^ High school drop out, went back and got my GED. I was so disinterested with school at that age it wasn't even funny. It didn't take me long to start understanding how bad a choice I made with being a complete slacker in high school and never going on for further education. That would be my personal 'if I could turn back time' wish - redo my education would be the only wish I have.

OMG. You are so right about that one Randy. Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii :D ...I missed everyone so..

I dropped out in high school but went back when I was 29 years old and got my High School Diploma with my Business Diploma. Never regretted it ever. I keep telling my son (who dropped out at grade 10) that he will regret it when he gets older. He is 20 now and acts like 12 at times. But then I know 4 year olds who are more mature. :p

I'm back for a day then I am gone again for a week or so. Take care Randy. Congrats on acing the test. You rock.

Hey T2, just stopping by to say hello, hope your doing well and have a good day.

Hello fellow Keystonian. I have to admit, I'm in dire need of swinging by your diary for a progress update. I trust you're using your personal Gold's Gym you have at home ?? I definitely envy you having all the creature comforts in your own crib for reshaping your body and lifestyle. Don't let it turn into a $5000.00 clothes hanger bro. I trust your menu is up to snuff as well.

Dayum it!!! I should've dropped out...maybe it would've increased my odds of being rich in the future, worked for those guys! :p :p

But seriously, I am super proud of you T2!!! :)

Sweet of you OHD. Your kindness simply radiates this forum. I wonder if you really realize what it means to the people you boost ?? It means bunches.

Ha !! there isn't a name on that drop out list I'd wanna be in exchange for completing a college education.

Good job on the test score T2. Have a great day.

Thank you Patty :) I'm on pins and needles here... I hope your day brings positive progress.

;)

Well Tammy, your lifestyle change amplifies the true spirit of what realtime learning is all about, if you can do this, you can do anything else you set out to do.

I had/have fears of the 'basics' were long gone but given the chance to rekindle those old things hidden deep in the cerebrum, you might just be surprised what'll come back to you. I hope you give yourself the opportunity to see how much further you can go in life. Do it for yourself ;)

Hey There T2,
Has anyone told YOU lately how much you do for this forum? You're right of course how OHD's radiance shines through - but your down home, common sense approach to losing weight helps untold numbers.

I count myself in those numbers.

Now...let's talk about this love-hate relationship with cigs...
I've been there.
When you're ready - you kNOW you can kick it, right?
