This is the time

Hey there, Felici!
I love reading about your walks, maybe especially because I'm not walking too much myself at the moment. I concentrated on walking so much during April&May that I thought it's good for me to refocus on weight-training and other types of cardio for a while. It's been 1½ weeks now and already I'm missing walking, especially reading about yours.
I might have to go back to walking soon. :D

Afternoon Feli!!
Your menu always sounds so good and your variety of foods is always so well blended, you do a great job!! I love taking walks, it's good for the soul and the waist line. I see you had some sushi, do you make those yourself?? OR buy them locally?? I do love me some sushi!! Great job on eating well. Have a great rest of your day!

That's a heck of a walk Felici. I even had to google the eagles for a picture. I let the rain keep me in today, but I was happy to see my compulsion to walk came back. Its the key to me getting from 4-5 times a week back to a solid 6 every week. Congrats on the normal jeans--you do look great and the halfway mark is a terrific accomplishment.

OK after reading your walk descriptions I am just gonna have to take a hike! It just sounds too nice! Im gonna hit the trail myself! Thanxs for the beautiful descriptive writing, I jusy hope I feel as blissfull as you once I get out there!
I always get something positive emotionally from a walk outside. :) It can be a trick getting there though.

It sounds like delicious food, enjoy!

It was nice to have a bit of a change. Though I do have a bunch of staples that I miss if I don't get them for lunch and I'm not interested in varying breakfast at all!

I had a bit of a break without much meaning to and though I maintained my exercise I really noticed the difference in how i was feeling without those nice solitary walks to unwind on.

Refreshed is still happy. With all the corrupting influences how was I to stay innocent around here?! :D

My 11 year old made the sushi. Someone taught her at school and then she bugged me till I got her the ingredients! They tasted pretty good actually. :)\

In general, don't you just hate it when you write a reply, click submit, run for the front door and come back hours later to see "You have included 11 smilies in your message...."

Thanks, Cannon. The hill walk was fun. I actually tried to google for pictures before I posted but there was absolutely that conveyed the magic of being on the same level as these soaring giant, birds and seeing the way they tipped up and dived down to the scrub way below us. It is great to actually want to do the things that help isn't it? :)

Corruption is a good thing, trust me...

I'm jealous of hill walks - Chicago is about as flat as you can get... I sort of miss hills.. .

Im just droppin by to say hia nd I hope you had a good day today :):):)!!!
Thank you. Yes. Good. It ended up too busy and so my exercise is still flat. I think I am just going to try and be patient with myself about that, and accept that a little is better than none sometimes.

I do realize that corruption is one of your areas of expertise. :)

I live on a plain with just bits of hills here and there, and sand dunes towards the coast - but there is a scarp an hour or so inland. That is where we went on the weekend. Aside from it being hilly, there is a lot of state forest there.

Snack 10:30 Small mandarin 40, coffee with hilo milk, 20.

Wow that spaghetti looked smallish and innocent on the plate but it sure packed a punch! I couldn't even handle any salad after that - I would have eaten later if I'd realized how heavy it would feel.

Exercise
1/2 hour inside jog 150 calories.

MMM I love spaghetti, it's the best and I make everything from scratch so it comes out really tasty. I wish I could get myself to eat that Salmon, I just can't do it, I think it's the smell that turns me off. A lot of people on here use eat it, I wish I could do it too. darn it!! Great job on getting that jog in too. Have a good rest of your day!

Hey, just another flatlander popping by to say good morning!
I'm rather late with this so it's about time now to say good morning back! I hope you have a good day. :)

Just stopping by to tell you to enjoy your day!
That's a nice thought. I did see it this morning though I didn't have time to reply then. I did enjoy most of it.

I did enjoy that spaghetti. I could do with being a bit more careful with the oil though. I'm needing to find a bit more of a happy medium between my insufficiency while I was trying to cook onions for cacciatore and my unnecessary compensation with the fish. It is convenient to like tinned fish, I 'm hoping my daughter comes around eventually. She had a toasted cheese sandwich! :)

I just wanted to stop in and say Hello. I don't have much time but wanted to thank you for keeping my diary alive!!:hug2:
You keep your diary alive yourself! Thanks anyway. :)

Thanks. I am going to have to accept fitting a bit less exercise in for the next few weeks. However, I'm also going to have to push back a bit to make sure there is still a decent space for it though, because amid conflicting priorities I need to make sure my health - therefore my exercise stays right up there, and I can see it would be too easy to let it slip - eg tonight.

Hi Steve! Thank you. I think all is pretty well! I would rate myself about 60% for today but with a mental state sufficient to get things back up to 80 or so within a day or two. :)
