This is the time

Seems to be a couple of these spammers around today. Yesterday I saw, not only this post already, but the same SET of posts by one person as this one... I reported it already.. :)

On another subject, I travel a lot (when I'm not on holiday, like now) and I rarely carry my laptop anywhere, so I write notes to myself on my mobile phone notepad or just a regular notepad. It does the trick most of the time. ;)

Hi Felici. We all have periods when we need a little extra support. So hop to it!! Get into your exercise gear and work out! And give us a report at the end of the day! :eek2:

Yes. It wouldn't meet all my needs. But it's certainly something I need to remember if I feel an urgent need to let off steam. It's not like I'm 10yo. I do remember what it was like not to have a computer... No... my memory is going... I don't remember! LOL! I need to remember.

1.25 hr tae bo Saturday night! Sir!!

Half an hour playing silly games on the computer tonight, Sir!

Feeling better now, Sir!

Going to bed now, Sir! :D

mmmm....Probably tae bo would be the best thing for tomorrow, if I can get the TV after school, which I probably could if I toughened myself up a bit and went straight on there instead of straight on here .... :) Maybe if I moved afternoon tea to after the exercise I would do a bit better. :)

For sure, if I actually post this it will actually make it easier to actually do this and then it would probably make the whole of the rest of the night easier.

And it looks like I am getting lost in my own thread this evening and have actually not even posted this yet.

I have a hard time remembering the time I WAS 10yo. Although I think we already had a computer by then. Nowadays I have to write down my age to remember that.
Computer games! Whoooohoooo! :D
And your menu looks absolutely delicious. Yum!
Julie

Felici you are spot on with your balanced and wholesome eating habits and exercise. And you have lost 40 pounds!! Fantastic.

Hi Felici!

*waves*

You have been so focussed for so long, don't be scared by a few urges to eat the 'wrong' things, it would be surprising if you didn't get them from time to time!

I like the way you focus on the positive things, like the bathtowel, the cheap top, and the walk with your family, to keep everything in perspective. :hug2:

Well getting the exercise done is often the trickiest thing for me, and where I have to focus my attention. It does make all the difference to how I feel though, both instantly and in the longer term.

OK! Way to go Felici! You get a gold ribbon for the day!!:beerchug:

Thanks, coach! :)

The internet has such a lot of playgrounds!! :D

I did enjoy my food today. I am sorry I saw macadamia nuts on special though. I think I need to stick that packet away now.

Thank you. Yes. I thought I had not lost anything this last week, but when I checked I had lost the last teeny bit to tip over to 40. LOL.

Thanks kez. I do get scared rather easily. I compare how I felt 6 months ago to the way I feel today and I can't bear to think that I will end up back there somehow. I guess the sensation of those urges reminds me of how I felt and I get agitated wanting that feeling to be gone. Perhaps I should actually be grateful for the reminders that I mostly feel so much better, and that I do need to consciously keep this happening.

It is one of life's great tragedies that 8 macadamia nuts have 144 calories! Wouldn't it be great if just one food like that had only 1 calorie per nut?

I have a hard time remembering the time I WAS 10yo. Although I think we already had a computer by then.

Young whippersnapper!!!

I don''t think I saw my first personal type computer til i was sometime in college... and my very first personal computer that I owned myself I was in my mid 20s - and it had a whopping 40 mg hard drive that had to be partitioned because the system couldn't handle anything that large :)

Damn I'm old :D

Yes. I like sugar snap peas, but they just don't have that creamy texture!

LOL. After that, I'm scared to say how old I was!

Exercise
1/2 hour tae bo. (269 cal)

Well I have been trying as hard as possible to get that exercise in asap after I get home. It turns out that a whole bunch of time that I figured I must be just idling through, is actually catching up with the kids and husband, and changing my clothes, and starting/restarting the washing machine etc. Expecting myself to fit in the whole hour of tae bo that I was aiming at just seems to be frustrating. Yet, the half hour would be good if I just accepted that this is what it was supposed to be. I do feel like a piker, leaving in the middle of a tape that has an instructor who keeps saying, "Just keep going, just keep going..." LOL. I think I am going to just accept shorter amounts of exercise in my busier periods. Feeling stressed isn't a goal I'm aiming for. So I want to be more accepting of fluctuations in the amount of time I spend exercising while I'm working. I'd like to make sure there's some without feeling like I messed up just because it's not as long as I'd prefer.

I see the food calories are staying up. I've tried a few things to make the food day seem more satisfying and less bothersome but really I don't think the extra food is necessarily achieving the "less bothersome" part of that. Seeing as the exercise is happening less I think I should take a bit of the food out of lunch. Maybe keep the soup as back up if there's no where to warm the other food, cut back the amount of protein in the sandwich. I might take one serve of fruit out of the day too. This isn't radical - just back closer to the amounts I was eating a short time ago.

I am so with you on this!! I love them but geeze!!

Yes. I ended up really cutting back on my meat one night to compensate but I see now that's not such a great idea.

Cutting back fruit ?!?! Nay !!

nononononononono !!

LOL! OK. OK. I shouldn't have posted that while you were watching, should I? I have actually been eating a lot more than I was, so I could tinker with it a bit without depriving myself. Or then again perhaps I'll just cave and leave it alone. I have pretty much no resistance when it comes to forum pressure. :D

Well HELLO THERE my friend!! It's been awhile and I've surely missed stopping by your diary. It's good to see your still plugging along and keeping up with your exercises. Tell me where do you get your pumpkin soup? Is it premade?? I'm craving some big time and I've always had the home made version and if there is a canned version out there I would love to try some. Your menu's always appeal to me, I start salivating the minute I read through it. :drooling: You really eat a good variety of food and food groups, you should really be proud of yourself for doing that. Well I hope your day is a very good one, AND I hope you've been getting REST!!! Talk to you later gator!
Kim

Hi! It's nice to see you too. Tinned pumpkin soup is easy to buy here in Perth, Australia. There are 2-3 brands and I can buy single serves that are easy to carry and reheat. I've been getting Campbell's from Coles, but I don't know that it will help you much to know that. :) For sure home made would be better in most ways. It's very much a convenience thing for me, just a way to have warm food and add to my veges, though the soup's have a little carbs in them too. As they're prepackaged I expect there are some less healthy things included too.

Rest - I did get my eight hours last night, for once.

I lost my Perth in Australia...oh, am I on ... K, Hi FELICI!!! I'm just a little koo koo tonight, never mind me.
I'm glad you had a good eight hour rest last night!
