This is the time

It sounds like it - but it doesn't feel like it - it feels slower - the rope is moving more slowly.

I almost forgot: I am down to 79.6 kgs (175 lb). That is down 1.2 kg (2.6 lb) since last week. Over the last 6 years this was the lowest weight I managed. It was about 4 years ago I think, and last time I was at this weight I was starting to get frustrated at a slowing weight loss, not losing weight and trying odd things that landed me back on the route to gaining! Needless to say I was NOT exercising. I feel very differently this time.

:) Your still going strong!!! WOO HOO 175...and I just thought what else you said there was interesting...

Thanks Cerella.

I'm feeling very fortunate at present. I'm just so conscious of how different things could be.

Sounds like a great day yesterday, Felici. Isn't it wonderful to feel so much more healthy, and able to participate in the activities! Good for you on your 3 mile walk, too.

Yes. It's great to feel so different, Tom. It's funny how I have grown to appreciate those walks and be itching to get back to one again after a couple of days of alternative exercise.

Mmm. Itchy is good in this case. :)

Luckily the obstacles to me heading out for a real walk have been a lot less frequent than yours have. It's been a long time since I visited Europe and found out how cold and rainy and limited a summer is in some places. This year it's been a revelation to find out second hand, a bit about how awkward snow can be.

Is it bad that I still don't know?

Roo Steak?

You mean you guys actually eat giant rodents?????

OK - well, yeah, I WOULD try it ;)

:) Mal, Curvie Girlie, M2M. :)

Nice to see you all.

Mileage - Yes. That is my regular walk now. I looked back to see how long that is in miles and yet couldn't remember how far it is in k's. My metrication has taken a step back on these boards. When I walk it like that with no special speed or intervals it just seems like a pleasure really - but I'm accepting credit anyway. :)

I've just recently noticed the meat in my supermarket. The flavour's a lot like beef but more variable and more gamey. It's extremely lean. The cost is about half way between cheap steak and expensive steak.

Large marsupial. :D
