It all started on January 1st, I made a new years resolution, which was to give my full effort to lose weight and stick to it so that I can look good when I go to university. I was 260 pounds and 6'1 at that time. Today I am a healthy 179 pounds and 6'3 tall. Im really new to the forum but I just wanted to share my success with people and inspire those who want to lose weight. Alright here is the before and after pic, enjoy :)

Wow ... Justin GREAT JOB. You look great.

Glad to have you around - it's always helpful to have folks who have done it to inspire those who are still working on losing those extra pounds.

Good job bro, I looked at this (since I'm around 250 and the same height, male too) and said "That's going to be me"!

Excellent job, I'm still working towards my goal :]

Great job, considering you also grew 2 inches your actual fat loss is much more than the weight you lost. Impressive job.

good job :). you got lucky with the growth haha. i hope i grow during or after my weight loss :).

good luck with the future.

Well to answer your guys question, I kinda lost weight in a improper way so to speak. (But dont worry i didnt starve myself!) What i did was set a calorie limit of 1500 for myself each day, not including the calories from the skim milk I drink. What I also did was incorporated lots of cardio, I started off easy at 30mins walks 5 days a week. As I got more fit I did hour workouts 6 days a week, the majority of these workouts on a elliptical trainer... And over the summer being found with plently of free time I was doing 1,30min to 3 hour workouts depending on what I did but still maintained that 1500 calorie limit 6-7 days a week

It could be said that I lost weight too fast and should have took things alot slower but I felt like I had to work my hardest. Because I lost weight this way I lost alot of muscle as well, so I plan on regaining that back eventually.... But yes thats what I did. My workouts include jogging, hiking, elipitical and along with interval training for the jogging and elipitical..... Occasionally I use a rowing a machine...

First post here for me!

Dude, seriously what you have done is amazing. I doubt you would have pulled many if any girls before hand, now though, you can take your pick!

What i'm really impressed with though is the change in your face, absolutely enourmous difference!

I unfortunately am at the start of my jouney, double chin to boot, damn! but i'm still happy because i know it won't last to much longer!

I think i'm going to go a similar path to you mate, going the extreme calorie reduction route with walking and increasing to whatever i feel happy doing! You're an inspiration!
