Good for you Smiley! You are doing terrific. I have hidden my scale from myself because it is destructive at this point..but someday i hope to rejoice when i step on it! Im going to go throw out the rest of the b-day cake now...and i almost wish i liked to vomit.. cuz id try it today...too many b-days in one weekend!

Why i hate computer's

What a week end! sorry if i haven't been around.We get a brand new computer not even 2 weeks ago and we've been using it and it's all going well when on saturday when i go to check some e-mails the frigging thing freezes on me. boy was i pissed! apparently the spyware got turned off and some virus got in and messed everything up! i only got it back today then i had to wait for the isp to get back to me to do the set up again what a day! anyways i journaled on paper through the weekend and now i'm back and hopefully this won't happen again!

week 2

Today is a good start to my bad week end. I pulled out a pair of jeans i haven't worn since last summer b/c my big old butt wouldn't fit in it and they zipped! :D there was like 2'' missing to zip them last time i tried them on and now they fit i'm am overjoyed :D

Thank's guys for the support :D it really does mean so much to me.
i have rewarded my self with some new exercise gear (as opposed to the usual chocolate treat)to keep me motivated :D (i just won't let my husband see the bill. lol) ;)

I was thinking of getting weights for my legs since they are my biggest problem. I will have to see if we have a winners.

So it's raining again today and it's cold. one day of sun this week this sucks! I've been using my elliptical more this week than going for a jog, but i would rather be out side in the fresh air. there's something uplifting about it. it makes you want to go farther on beautiful days. the positive side of the rain is after this the snow should be all gone :) and that's a great thing i hate snow(well the cold yucky snow, the cute snowman making one is great and it keeps the kids busy :) )

Doing great keep up the fight. And about the 1200 calories, I would try to up them to like 1700-1900, muscles are being burnt as well as fat with 1200. but as far as everything else goes your on the right track!

Congratulations on zipping up the jeans! Great job! And what a good idea to reward yourself with exercise gear. I used to live in Windsor, Ontario (years ago), but I'd forgotten all about going to Winners. I liked making a quick stop in there to look at everything before doing my shopping at Zehr's. Thanks for a quick trip down memory lane!

Hey thank's for the support Big guy! as for the calories thing i'm working on it but it's hard to change the mind set from aerobic/weight loss to weight training, right now i'm working on getting them up to 1400 cals/day then will see. my bmr is like 1400 when i do the calculations so thats what i'm shooting for :)
(weight x .35(for women/.45 for men)x 24)
when i start the more intense stuff then i'll adjust it to suit my needs.
( :eek: i knew about the muscle loss thing but like i said mind set hard to change)

The rain has finally stopped and today is going to be nice so that's great. My son came home with the dreaded chocolate bars to sell for a school fundraiser. 24 of the buggers to sell! Now the old me would of eaten 2-3 of them all ready but instead i sent them to work w/ my mom and i don't have to have them around to tempt me. so yeay for me :)

Week 2 (long week, changed my wt/in day to monday)

Muscles~sore :D (ok so i'm totally nutty for wanting them to be sore, but i never claimed to be sane ;) ) Up at 6 today, my B is sick has the flu of some sort and i hope i don't get it. hopefully it's just a 24hrs one that will go away.
i was supposed to do stuff today but now we'll be sticking around home. more time to clean i guess. So monday i get back on that scale and i hope i've had a good week.
