i can't beleive these mini meals! i should have tried it befor.i need to get more cals in, today was not enough. we'll see tomorow if i can up it some how.

Eating healthy foods is sooo much easier when the bad food is not at your house!

Totally agree with you,the chocolate has been sent with my husband he could use a few lbs. i have a big control prob. when it comes to having goodies in the house :eek: so if they are not in here i won't eat them. i don't even buy them at the store,usually my hubby comes home with stuff. i'm always afraid what people are going to think :eek: (another of my prob's)at the store you know no wonder she's fat look at the grocery cart filled with icecream and cookies(i have been told many times that other people just don't give a crap/mainly by my hubby :mad: ,probably cause it's true and probably cause he wants the damn stuff)it's just the mind set i've got i'm not quite sure how to change it :confused: i've always thought that way-i've also always been overweight :(

Anyhow on a positive note-i like this mini meal stuff, i don't eat as much and i don't feel hungry all the time so thats good :)

1/2 banane -52 cals
oatmeal-150 cals
1/2 apple -45 cals
tsp brown sugar-20 cals
water-3L
1/2 apple/cottage cheese 140 cals
egg salad sandwich 250?
salade & left overs 350 cals(1007 cals)

a few more left overs-150 cals
strawberries 3 of them ? 50 cals

commitments for today-exercise-elliptical-40 min(40 min done),strenght 30min(done)abs 50x4(done) drink my water~got in 3L yesterday(got in my 3L for today and going :) hello bathroom!) think positive yesterday started out bad but turned out great :) :) :D you just never know

smiley do you have an elliptical in your house? I just have to share the fact that I LOVE the elliptical! I usually fill up my iPod with new music and hit the gym for like an hour. Sometimes I spend like 50 minutes on the elliptical before I even realize how long I've been on it.

Let me also say that I love going to the gym...the skinny girls give me inspiration. :D

Did you say you hit a plateau with your weight? What I normally do when I hit a plateau is switch a few things up like what exercises I am doing, and when...and totally change the way I am eating...that has worked a few times..

I like the mini meal thing too...but Im trying the 3 meals only right now.. if i get hungry during the day ill have to deal w/ it then.
What kind of elliptical do you have? do you like it (obviously you do..you use it) does it take up alot of room? Im thinking of switching my gazelle for an elliptical as I like the gazelle but i dont get a really good intense cardio off from it.

went to a friends house today and had lunch while our boys played :) (guess it's called a play date) she got me thinking about roller blading she says it's a great work out for her butt :) ?? i don't know much about it though if any one reads this and has some experiance let me know :)
 
Hey, Smiley, how old are your boys? I have three little boys- a 4-almost-5 year old, a three year old and a 20 month old. Most days I refer to my life as a "three ring circus."
Don't know anything about rollerblading. I really hate falling...

this site has to be the greatest thing ever! i just think that all the support and advice is great at motivating me to renew and continue my commitment to health and exercise :D
maybe this time i'll make it to my goal (150) it's only like 24lbs away, you've come a long way from 262lbs to 174lbs and the fact that i havent regained to much is a good sign (12lbs from 162) some healthy stuff must of stuck with me along the way :) this time i can make it :D ( a little positive self talk never hurt)

*****just found out that we are going to a safety award dinner at the end of April, girl get your butt in gear and find something cute to wear********

just noticed i had 3 pages in here hurray! :) tomorrow is the day i hop on the scale hope i'm down some, i can tell you one thing i can feel a difference :) now let's see if the scale feels one :D
 
Oh man! The spinner bought the farm! Not the spinner! Ohhhh thats not good. I would complain to the company... what good is the thing if you cant spin w/ enthusiam? There should be a warning label..." do not spin while listening to hip hop or anything w/ a beat..and most certainly dont enjoy your spinning.."

I hate preparing my own salad..i buy the bag stuff...its great for those busy nites which is like every night. I never bought the spinner...but now im definetely not going to :-D
 
Thankfully nobody was injured in this incident :D i just had a hell of a mess to clean up.

Bagged stuff is a great time saver,but i don't like the iceburg stuff.
and the romain doesn't come in the big bags :(
next spinner will be state of the art w/ a life insurance policy that comes w/ it. just in case ;)
 
Maybe you could get a hazard sign for your kitchen that says "caution, Salad Spinner in progress, pass at your own risks"

Ooh, it's awful when the weather hinders your exercise plans. But it looks like you're doing great otherwise. You're so motivated! Keep it up!
 
Day 7 ~down 4 Lbs!!! & 1.25"!!!

I am so happy right now! i can't even think straight :D i just got on the dreaded scale and to my surprise i'm down 4Lbs!!i am so freeking happy.i have been trying to get my weight down since Dec.(well forever really) and what i was doing just wasn't getting me there. This site gave me great advice and motivation to start over and shake things up a bit. and if it keeps going the way it is my routine will be the only thing shaking lol.
this is a great start, i've surpassed my expectation of 2lbs and i lost another 1.25''(-12'')way to go!
