Hi there! I'm new to the forum and was just checking out some diaries and stumbled upon yours.... And what a great one to stumble upon!! Congrats on this accomplishment, sounds like you're getting your motivation back :) Can't wait to hear about more accomplishments in the future!

Yee Hah at being in ta da-
ONEDERLAND!!!!!!
Congratulations tete!!
All the best with your dad, xoxo Cate

Congratulations!
1400 cals is not at ALL a bad average for the week! Just watch those low days!! Sometimes life can happen and we don't have the time/energy to eat, but you don't want too many of those!

Thanks so much everyone! I so want to get on more but it's the crazy time of year for me. Senior photo sessions are booked solid and if I log on the actual computer I end up staying on for hours! Which is a big no no then I won't work out and I want to snack.

If anyone wants to follow me on my fitness pal. Please do! I am logging and trying ton stay on track. and it's so nice to follow little updates of all of you. jajomo011 is my user name :)

Sending good vibes to you all!!

Just caught some of those good vibes! It's great to share My Fitness Pal :D Cate

Hi Tete :) :) :), well done on getting back to it, and reaching one-derland once more.

I invented a saying, which is 'It's better to have lost and gained, than never to have lost at all'. I think back to the amount of weight I have lost on diets... One time it was 60 pounds, another time 45... And at least 3 times I have lost 15 pounds... So that's a grand total of 150 pounds I lost. I think to myself, so what if I regained.. If I hadn't have lost that WHOPPING 150 pounds, I would be massively overweight right now. As it is I haven't been over a UK size 18, which is not so bad. 150 pounds more and I would probably be at least a UK size 30. Looking at it that way, regaining doesn't seem like such a faliure.

The first part is the hardest, now you've done that, there will be no stopping you, I just know it :D I always admired your sensible attitude to dieting, you were always steady and consistant with your weight loss throughout the months, and seemed to have less of a daily/weekly yo-yo than a lot of people, and slowly but surely you got seriously hot! And you will do it again.

And, oh god, tell me about child stress. There was a stage when everytime my bf took the kids out I would spend the entire time worrying that he hadn't watched them properly and one had died. Every phone call that didn't get through, every minute they were late home seemed to reinforce that fact. My son has severe special needs as well and I worry so much about the way he is treated when I'm not there.... Its a horrible gnawing feeling in the pit of your stomach isn't it, and a lightheaded panic and fixation. I will probably be like you when they get older and more independant. I cannot even bear to think about when my daughter is old enough to walk to the local shop on her own, let alone have a night out, I will be terrified! So I haven't got any advice, but sending you hugs x

Your boys are gorgeous, and both them and their dates looked amazing on prom night, you must be so proud :)

1400 calories a day average is amazing, carry on kicking arse, I will be back to check on you soon :D

Well Hello there Lady!! Glad to see you around! I was excited when I seen you on Pinterest! I don't have much time to get on here either...but a Cate and Mystic on MFP keep me in line!

Thanks about the boys....this letting them grow up stuff sucks...and I am not good at it at all! The loss of control is unbearable....so I am trying to control the only thing I really can...and thats me!

Slow and steady is the only way I know...I just wish I would get the energy to work out more!! I being OK with the eating...I know if I would work out more I would see real results!!

As for everyone...I am going to head off and check in on you all!

Hope all is well,
Tete

Ha ha- I'm glad we're keeping you in line! That's funny! :D You'll get used to the idea of your boys growing up tete. If you have done a good job(& I'm sure you will have) they will be independent & able to look after themselves. They will still love you just as much. We have a special relationship with both of our sons & I can't see that changing any time.
Working out doesn't appeal to me much I must admit. I would much rather do something, like play golf or go get wood or go for a walk in the bush. All's well here in Tasmania, xoxo Cate

Happy New Year....

Sitting here thinking... while it might not have been my ideal goal...but I kept 20 pounds off for over 3 years...and that is something small to be proud of and build on!

Hi tete, good to see you back, both here & on MFP. Keeping that 20lbs off is something to be proud of xo Cate

Hi ladies...hope everyone had a nice holiday! :)

I've had the plague for a few days...so I really can't breath well enough to work out...but I am eating very little...lol...so thats a plus! haha.

Really looking forward to kicking this cold and starting to work out again....I miss it.

Sending hugs to all!

Everyone seems to have colds on here at the moment! You're all spreading germs to each other via the internet, I'm sure of it!!!

Hope you feel better soon.

Holding my breath while I type so as not to reinfect you: keeping off 20 pounds really is an achievement!

Just wanted to pop by and say hi! Happy to see you're still around! It's also pretty awesome you've kept off the 20lb, I can't say the same lol. You've always been an inspiration, so I hope both of us can kick some butt this time around!
