The Tattooed Lady

Congrats :) - clothes fitting are one of the best ways to tell if you're on the right track (which you obviously are). What's the next goal?

Setting small goals and working from there. Really don't have a particular jean size. The smaller the better...:D

1. Still working on getting down to 170
2. Size 12 jeans
3. Looking half-ass good in a swimsuit (if I did't have Ash's dad face tattooed on my leg, I'd feel better in a bikini)

I put one the pair of 14's that I didn't try on and they're a little tight... They're not cutting off my circulation and I still can breath. It's the same brand (I swear they are) as the other 14's, so I didn't think it would be a problem...

They did loosen up thru out the day, granted still little tight. I didn't keep up with fitday today since snack was pringles (that's all mom and dad had), supper was seafood (fish, clams, shrimp), baked potato (sour cream and butter), cottage cheese, white bread, tea, and coffee. On the upside, lunch was a salad with a diet coke, so I was good. I'm so full from supper, but not enough to explode or puke. Rented some movies, so I'm gonna end the night with a ice cream sandwich.

Tomorrow is trying to get back on track as well as I can. We all know how tuff weekends can be.

Finally finished Ash's room. Looks so much better. You can actually walk thru it now and the dog has a place to sleep. Did some more moving yesterday. Now it's down to just cleaning and do the change of addresses. Got a new DDR disc so we are going to try it out tonight...:D Greene and I have both been drinking, so this ought to make it interesting. Would put my smirnoff in fitday, but have no clue how much alcohol it has...:D It's only 5% alc/vol. I'm sure it's easy math, but can't figure it out. The plan is only to drink 1 tonight.

New DDR disk was the bomb. I love it. It was well worth the money. Greene took pictures so I can show you guys how to do it, but gotta get him to sit down and show me how to do that.

Ash is sick...:( She has cough, runny nose, sore throat and rash. We'll see how she feels when it comes closer to time for school. Hopefully the rash isn't something major. It looks like a diaper rash, but the funny thing is the neighbor has the exact same thing on his back, so we really have no idea what it is. The neighbor is spose to be going to the Veterans Hospital today, so maybe we'll have some idea what it is.

Only drank half of the smirnoff last night. I have to be in the mood to drink them. Obviously last night wasn't the night...:)

I tried a new recipe for breakfast yesterday. I didn't like it very much, but I ate it anyway. I'll know not to make that again. %'s wise it was 32/45/23. I think it was pretty good for a weekend.

Meal 1 - Vegan pancake, coffee, milk
Meal 2 - cottage cheese w/fruit
Meal 3 - ham slices, string cheese, apple
Meal 4 - 6 pizza rolls
Meal 5 - granola bar, milk

Re: the recipe - what was it you didn't like? (When I make something I don't like I consider if it was me, or the recipe that caused it)

I really don't know if it was me or the recipe. Several things really.

1. They were vegan pancakes. I don't anything about vegan let alone eat anything along those lines

2. Never had flavored pancakes and some of the ingredients in a pancake

In all honesty, I think it was me. I'm not going to say it was the recipe, because like I said before, I know nothing about the vegan lifestyle, but I'm sure the vegans would like it.

I'm so tired of waking up in the middle of the night hungry. This morning it was 1:30. When it happens, I just drink some water and go back to bed. I made a smoothie for a snack and it was good. Will defintely make it again. Unfortunately, I didn't make my goal, but we'll see what today brings. Ash doesn't have school today, so maybe today will be better.

Fat - 25%, Carbs - 52%, Protein - 23%

Meal 1 - oatmeal, coffee, milk
Meal 2 - cottage cheese w/fruit
Meal 3 - salad, tea
Meal 4 - smoothie
Meal 5 - steak, mac and cheese, hominy

Re: the pancakes - did you use whole wheat flour? If so, that might take some getting used to vs regular pancakes.

Smoothies are the best - what flavor was it?

Yes used whole wheat flour, but I wouldn't think that would be the problem because we use that in our biscuits when we make them, but who's to say.

It was a strawberry-banana smoothie. One banana, 6oz strawberry yogurt and milk. We'll see if it gets posted on the zaar..:D

Hey She. As far as I know Vegans just don't eat anything derived from an animal. It looks like the only thing missing from those pancakes from the norm was the milk and eggs...

They sound good except for the banana...I detest banana anything! LOL. I've put raw oats and cinamon in mypancakes (I like 'lumpy' food LOL), they taste pretty good. The nutmeg and vanilla sound good too, I may try those.

I can't keep up with the changing diets (i.e. vegetarian, vegan, etc). There is so many of them these days. I won't put down anybody for what they eat, to each their own!

My strawberry-banana smoothie recipe has been published!! I'm so exicted everytime it happens. Deep down inside I like seeing my name by something I have done..:D

Ash decided she was going to dump my raisins down the stairs and when she tried to pick them up, she put the icky ones with the good ones, so now I have no raisins for my oatmeal, but it's all good because I have a oatmeal recipe I want to try. I still get my oatmeal but just in a different form. Will let you know tomorrow when I try it.

School is closed again, so gonna be another "make it up as you go along" day. Yesterday Ash helped me sweep two rooms. Greene let her sweep her room Sunday and she's been dying to show me how good she can do.

I made my goal and didn't wake up hungry in the middle of the night. Going back to eat pb at night before bed. Fat - 29%, Carbs - 47%, Protein - 24%

Meal 1 - oatmeal, coffee, milk
Meal 2 - cottage cheese w/fruit
Meal 3 - turkey burger, string cheese, tea
Meal 4 - red bean and rice, bread, tea
Meal 5 - pb, crispbread

Glad that's working for ya.

I've got a pretty good protein bar recipe if you want it..Mixed Nut. It's kinda dry if you stick to the recipe (and don't add a lot of extra egg white like I do), so you'd have to drink it with a lot of water, but it's quite satisfying..and nutritionally, a great bedtime snack. I've been eating them for a couple weeks. They're nowhere near as tasty as I remember the junk protein bars being, but they are full of healthy ingredients, and I don't remember ever feeling hungry after eating one. ^_^

Send me the recipe in my email!
