Try serving on Brown rice, ww couscous or quinoa. I actually prefer them, but at the least they're infinitely healthier choices. :)

I have a recipe that I need to try anyway. Will try it with brown rice as soon as I go buy some.

True but there's a certain satisfaction in having your very own homemade lo mein too. :)
 
Haha, you caught me. It's easy for me to say "stay away from noodles!!1!!1!!one!1!" 'cause I've never really liked them much. :p

Never had it. The only beef one I ever had was broccoli and beef. I love that stuff...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
 
Supper and the bars was the bomb. Can't wait to have it again.

Meal 1 - oatmeal, coffee, yogurt
Meal 2 - cottage cheese, milk
Meal 3 - ham slices, string cheese, kool-aid
Meal 4 - turkey chili, crackers, pb sandwich, tea
Meal 5 - pb granola bar
 
Had some running to do today. Ash spent some of her b-day money on a pair of pj and bibs. I also picked up her progress report, but didn't talk to the teacher. She has all checkmarks except 2, but it's all good. She has the major things checkmark'd, so again it's all good.

Had the chili for lunch..:D Even better the 2nd time around. Makes really good leftovers.
 
Only had 4 meals today. Ate too much with the chili. At supper I only had the turkey. No gravy to go with it. Didn't make my goal of 50% or less carbs.

Meal 1 - oatmeal, coffee, milk
Meal 2 - turkey chili, pb sandwich, crackers, kool-aid
Meal 3 - turkey, mashed potatos, corn, tea
Meal 4 - pb granola bar, tea
 
she, I dont know how much you love raisin or not in your oatmeal. I do, but I cut it down to 6 grams (about 10-15 raisins). Those little goodies packed a lot of carb in each. Anyway, I cook it along with the oatmeal so the flavor and fragrance are in the oatmeal without xtra carb. Just an idea :)

And tallk about chili... Stingo & I were just talking about it earlier today. Got me thinking about it :p so I probably will make it as my meal soon enough. :D

I'm not sure how many raisins are in 1/4 cup, but I can start cutting it down to 1/8 cup along with the 4 strawberries.
 
I swear it's been one of those days. I went to look for some shirts for Greene and Ash just wasn't listening...:mad: I ended up coming home with nothing I went out for. So tonight when Greene gets home I can go out and get what I need, mainly just more sweet n low. We can worry about the shirts later.

I made my goal of my carbs...:) The ending was 27%/47%/27%. Going to start posting my %, good or bad.

Meal 1 - oatmeal, coffee, milk

Meal 4 - Lean turkey, cottage cheese, tea
Meal 5 - granola bar, milk

In other news, I went clothes shopping the other day for jeans and I can fit in a 14...:D Woohoo, another goal met...:) I still have a pair of my 16 and I can take them all the way off while still buttoned. I've been meaning to tell you guys, but just holding off until the right time. Figured I'll tell you on weigh-in...:)
