Greene says that doesn't work. It's just a myth. If it works for you, then stick with it. Everybody is different. I'll give it a try, tomorrow probably would be good.
 
That's the beauty part of it - you never know if it will work for you unless you triy it.
 
I've got my appetite back this morning. Still don't know why I wasn't hungry..guess I had enough fat on me for my body..lol :D

I did have a little snack...one cherry twizzler, but only one. That's good for me, trust me.

Breakfast - juice(120), eggs(225), cheese(110) = 455

Snack - pretzels(110), string cheese(80) = 190

Supper - 2 turkey hotdogs(140), baked beans(150) = 290

Snack- 1 twizzler = (????)

Total - probably over 1,000

I was typing in the morning and took Ash to school. I came home, hung another load of laundry, swept the house, walked down to the neighbors to have my sweeper fixed. Walked 3 blocks to pick her up from the bus.

Last night was her first sleep over with the neighbor across the street. At least I wouldn't have to go far to get her, but didn't need too. I figured she would do ok, since she plays with the kids everyday (or almost). Greene and I did absolutely nothing (kindof upsetting at first, but I got over it), but it was nice spending time together with no child.

Food wise, it was ok until supper. Need to stay away from hamburger helper. It's always the fall back when I don't know what else to fix or when we're low on food. It's quick and easy.

Breakfast - juice(120), oatmeal(120), whole wheat toast(40), tbsp butter(30) = 310

Lunch - 1/2 pita(100), baked beans(150), tuna salad(310) = 560

Snack - pretzels(110), tbsp pb(90) = 190

Supper - hh(330), potato(150), tbsp butter(30) = 510

Total = 1740

I have found the thing to cure chocolate cravings...snickers marathon energy bar. They taste just like a snickers candybar and good for you. I just wouldn't want to eat them all the time...220 calories/each bar.

LOL this part cracked me up because that is SO me. You feel like DANG no kids! There should be some sort of SOMEthing you can get away with to seize the moment! Sometimes its nice to just "be" though :) I totally get you though girl!
 
LOL..glad I'm not the only one going thru that. I guess the older you get, the more you want to stay home and do nothing. I can totally understand why Greene didn't want to do anything. He's works 8 hrs/day with a hr drive to work and back, but all the driving for work. He's happy just sitting around watching t.v. and kick back and relax.
 
Yesterday was a weird day, back to not feeling really hungry or craving smokes. I only cheated once, the tootsie pop, cherry flavor. This morning, I'm getting hungry. Hopefully Greene will cook soon. I'm waiting on the biscuits and gravy.:D

Breakfast - eggs(225), milk(120) = 345

Lunch - tuna salad(310), string cheese(80), tortillia(50), pretzels(110) = 550

Snack - snickers marathon energy bar = 220

Supper - 2oz chicken(60), tbsp bbq sauce(15), baked beans(150) = 227

Snack - cherry tootsie pop = 60

Total = 1402

Breakfast wasn't biscuits and gravy, it was pancakes and sausage. I didn't have the syrup, but couldn't pass up the sausage patties. I was good and only had one.

Breakfast - 2 juice(240), 3 4" pancake, recommend amount(210), tbsp butter(30), sausage pattie(170) = 650

Snack - applesauce(90), string cheese(80), pretzels(110) = 280

Supper - porkchop(186), corn(100), tbsp butter(30), cottage cheese(90) = 406

Snack - corn(100), tsp butter(10), 5 chips(50) = 160

Total = 1496

I think the snack will kill me, but we'll see in the morning...:eek:
 
Biscuits, gravy.....pancakes....snikers....omg...I'M HUNGRY!!! lol I saw those snikers bars in the store and thought I should try one, but then I thought I woudl be cheating hard core. And you're right, u shouldn't eat them all the time, but still....they are there and not as bad for you!!! :D
 
Really good..get one and see how they do with your chocolate craving. If you don't like it or it don't work, you're only out the price of one bar and not a whole box.
 
I had my "cheat snack" today, so no more this week. I, again, went to the neighbor's house and had a tootsie pop and rc pop. Really need to find my willpower and say no. If I can do that with chocolate, I know I can do it with anything.
 
Chocolate and soda have been my two cravings and I don't crave soda much at all. Chocolate on the other hand is much harder. D@mmit! :mad:
 
I don't crave pop until I go to the neighbors, but he's has water instead of the pop which I should be drinking.

Chocolate is few and far between now, but I know I have the protein bars if I really have a bad craving.
 
Yesterday I tried to use tortillias instead of hamburger buns. It didn't turn out like I thought it would, but still worked. The tortillia fell apart, but still good.

Snack - cherry tootsie pop(60), rc pop(160) = 220

Supper - rice and turkey sausage(130), mac and cheese(200), veg(30) = 360

Snack - energy bar = 110

Total = 1370

I'll defintely let you know. I had another reciepe for it, but I don't remember where it is, so I'll use this one instead.

I've decided to make a cake for Greene's b-day, but it wasn't from the website. OMG, the cake is sooo good and very bad for you. It's a Ooey Gooey Butter cake. I'll get it and post it so you can feel the fat just stick to your thighs like it does mine..lol

*Edit - The website has it..OMG..you have to try it. It's the bomb!
