Well it's part of what you had children for - to see them make their way in the world... Bittersweet though it is... Chin up and look on the bright side.
 
Oh yea..she didn't scream holy he11 or anything like that. I told her that I would see her later and I would get her off the bus. She's said ok and she went to sit down. I've got 5 pics..so when Greene gets home..I'll have him scale them down so I can put them up.
 
What an exciting yet terrifying day for you. This is where you start to cut the apron strings. I remember when my first went to kindergarden. It about broke my heart. It was somewhat easier with my second however, there I kept thinking this is my little baby and now what am I going to do. Enjoy these early years as they go by so fast. It seems like yesterday I was rocking them both, now they are at the point where they are rocking me. :( Take lots and lots of pictures.
 
We had lunch before I took her to schoool and I had a salad w/dressing, croutons, and sliver almonds. MMM good. I thought about dessert, but I decided to hold off until later. After I dropped her off, I went to mow my apt and ended up mowing the neighbors back yard in the process. All he has to mow is the front. I figure turn about is fair play since he mows mine, plus the mower ran out of gas in the middle of mowing his backyard. So instead of taking 15-20 minutes, it took me about 40 minutes. Good cardio on my part today.:D :D :D
 
Ash got off the bus and she was so excited about the first day. She can't wait to go back to school tomorrow and ride the bus home. Ah the fun is just beginning. Only more 13 yrs to go. :eek:
 
Watched Dog the Bountyhunter last night, so here's my food for yesterday.

PWO - 2 scoops whey(100), .5 milk(60) = 160

PWO - potato(150), tbsp butter(30), juice(120), string cheese(70) = 370

Lunch - asian salad w/grilled chicken(290), low-fat ginger dressing(90), croutons(60), almonds(60) = 500

Snack - twin pack mini muffin(140), milk(120) = 260

Supper - 2z whole wheat spaghetti(210), cup sauce(80), tsp parm cheese(10) = 300

Snack - tortillia(50), 1 tbsp(90) = 140

Total = 1730

Other than the snack with the mini muffins, I think I did good yesterday.

Ash is beautiful She....congratulations on having such a grown up little kindergartener. Looks like she was pretty pleased to be there! I also see your ticker tape is coming down, keep up the great work.
 
Thanks Missy..I was young when I had her and wasn't the greatest mother (I have no patience what so ever), but I'm so happy that she had a good time yesterday. It's true when they say "it gets easier as they get older." I know that's not true in all cases, but when they start doing things on their own, then it's easier.
 
I was low on calories yesterday. Today is workout day, so maybe I'll get them up.

Breakfast - oatmeal = 120

Lunch - garden salad w/grilled chicken(230), dressing(110), croutons(60) = 400

Snack - bag healthy choice popcorn = 200

Supper - porkchop(170), 2 3/4 cup veg(60), corn on cob(100), 1 tbsp butter(30) = 360

Snack - 2 tbsp peanut butter(180), 1/2 whole wheat pita(100) = 280

Total = 1360

Lunch was going to be a salad, but when I got to the place, they didn't have my particualr salad I wanted. I should have asked if they had any made up, but I went with the kids meal instead of a full blown meal. Wasn't a complete loss, but wasn't the best choice either. :confused: You live and learn. I figured the kids meal would be better.

*Edit - It was 2 chicken strips, mashed potatos/gravy, baked cheetos, granola bar. I didn't eat all of it. The only thing I didn't eat was the baked cheetos.*

Last night we sat around and listened to music all night long.

Snack - pretzels(110), 2 tbsp peanut butter(180) = 290

Supper = 4oz chix(125), mac and cheeze(200), stuffing(170) = 495

Total = 1755

Yesterday, I did all my running around in the morning before I took her to school and I walked 2 blocks to the bus stop and back.

My mom and dad are coming down for a visit, so I'm gonna try to eat healthy, or as healthy as I can for the weekend.:D
