The Road to Change...

Thanks guys!! You guys are so right.

So, I haven't ate dinner, or my snack yet, but I thought I'd post what I'm going to eat anyway, so I don't overeat later. This is sort of a final thing for the day.

Breakfast: Big bowl of Life Cereal w/skim milk and Equal
Snack: Twinkie :eek:
Lunch: Ramen Noodles, Beef Flavor
Snack: Banana
Dinner: Lean Cuisine Chicken w/ Basil Sauce
Snack: Graham Crackers

Cals: (1350-1700) - 1502
Fats: (30-66) - 35
Carbs: (152-276) - 259
Protein: (34-149) - 46
Sodium: (0-2300) - 2489
Cholesterol: (0-250) - 52
Fiber: (25-35) - 13

Water: 64 oz. (which I had to force down)

Exercise: No Curves, wasn't in the mood to go out, but I did some dancing for about 45 minutes, and did some heavy cleaning.
 
Hey Change. What I find works best for me (I don't always do it) is to compromise. If I know I have a bad habbit like snacking I do two things. I try and cut it down and I also allow for it. In other words I try and cut the snacking down and find ways to make it healthier, but I also allow the calories in my diet to allow me to do it. Otherwise, its sounds like you're doing great :)

Snack: Graham Crackers w/ Whipped Cream

Water: 33.8 oz. :eek: (Did really bad today with water..)

im with cannon, ill make the time in my diet calories for treats so i dont feel deprived.
It means i never get to the point i ruin my diet for it.

Keep up the great work though, you are owning it!
 
Some nice changes:

1. My clothes are getting really baggy. Mostly my tops, I have one pair of jeans that still fit me the same way, I think its the way they are shaped. But one of my other pairs of jeans are extremely baggy. I have to keep pulling them up. Yay.

2. My knees don't hurt anymore! I remember when I first started my knees killed me, that's one of the reasons why I wanted to start this lifestyle change. I thought that I was way too young for my knees to be hurting.

3. My bras aren't fitting right anymore. lol. Need new bras!!

4. I can workout without getting out of breath!! So I have to push myself to get out of breath. Out of breath to me means working out with intensity. But then once I'm out of breath, I hate it, so I slow down. lol

5. I can touch my toes when I stretch on the floor. When I first started I could only reach the middle of my leg, now I'm so flexible, I can reach my toes!! I wanna get to the point where I can reach past them now.

6. People notice!

7. I'm starting to feel a bit sexier, a bit more confident, a bit more happier.

Wow, I'm lovin those changes you've seen! One question, how do you reach PAST your toes? :D
 
Wonderful changes J!! I'm so happy for you - especially for number 7. That's such a great feeling isn't it?! Keep it up!!!!! :D:D:D

And HR: I never though you could reach past your toes until I started yoga. There's this pose, the forward fold, where you straighten you legs, reach for you toes then hug your arms around your legs. :eek: The first time I tried it I though I was going to break something!..lol.

Wow those are definatley some big changes!
I love the fact when you can exersice or walk up a hill without
the outta breath feeling! Oh here was an ideal or 2 when you are
wanting to eat something bad or get offered bad foods late at night
(my hubby does this) I either run off to find something to so like
I went downstairs to simply throw laundry in then I saw a bag of clothes
I used to wear so I started going through them and heck before you
know it the time passed and so did the craving I was down there for over
an hour! Another thing a nice aroma bath or shower the smell good bath
soaps bubble bath ect is nice and takes mind off eating!

WOW...I loved reading your changes, I was thinking for re motivation fo rme, I need to post allt he thing I changes and stop eating or drinking to get me on my way, all the things i gave up, LOL...Im so glad you joined us here...I love reading your diary and your posts and seeing you around!!! Im also glad you've been around abit more!!!

That's a great job of making changes. I really think that's such a valuable exercise for those of us who are trying to make positive changes like losing weight.
