*hugs to everyone*

I feel fat. lol. Not a lot of energy lately. It's because it's "that time" for me. So yeah. Yesterday I did pretty good, until I decided to have a little bit of cookie dough ice cream, that turned into twice as much as I wanted to have. It was really good though, lol, but now I regret it. Oh well.

I haven't exercised today. I think I better go do that soon... Took a picture of me today. Ugh, I still feel really too shy to post any pictures. :( Maybe soon I guess.

Hi CFL
Just stopping in to say hello and see how things are going. Keep your chin up gal. You are doing wonderful. One bummer day is behind you now. Stay positive. You can do it, you have been doing it.
Take care and looking forward to reading your success.

Until then...... :p

I would love to see the woman behind this beautiful personallity and supportiveness

you took the words right out of my mouth. but if you don't feel ready change, that's ok :) i know how you feel with "that time" had same problem last week. hope you feel better soon :)

hugs, Lena

And remember ovulating burns (I think) about 500 calories a month, so at least it gives you a little bit more room for the snacks XD

I suddenly can't remember where I read that, but it was something on why women tend to gain weight more quickly after menopause, that the extra ~500cal burnt a month on that is gone.

I don't know bethy - that means it would take 7 months to gain an extra pound - there's got to be more at work after menopause then the lack of that extra 500 cal deficit ;)

Granted, I'm not ready to find out what exactly!

Hang in there CFL... you have lost almost 30 pounds and that is awesome, dont take that lightly, it is amazing....and you are dedicated to healthy choices and it will pay if in the long haul!

Maybe there should be a club started for those TOM'ers that need some support!

Yeah, it was just listed as one contributing factor for weight gain after menopause. I just figure if we have to go through all that, at least there's a *little* caloric payoff, if not enough to get too excited over

I definitley know how you feel!!! i have pleatued!!! and still feel like no matter how much weight i've already lost...it still isnt making a difference...

BUT WE CAN'T LISTEN TO THAT LIE!!! keep going change4life! you can do it!

I have been at this same weight for over a month, but I have been putting in the hours at the gym and I got 2 compliments over the weekend on how nice I am looking! I didn't see anything major myself, because I pay too much attention tpo the scale!;) But you are probably like me and get frustrated, but you can do it an dI am sure you are looking better than you thought you would!! Chin up!!:)

dont be too disheartened. You see yourself everyday - other people dont see you for a while - even a week and notice the difference.

Keep up the good work!

Aw, thanks! Maybe soon... I'm really really shy. I have a hard time updating my diary because I don't like to draw much attention to myself. But I put on my New Years Resolution that I would post some pictures of myself. I really do want to do it soon.

OMG, I did not know this. Thanks for this information. Though, this month, I've gained 2 lbs back!! Yikes. I'm back at 277. I don't know why, but I'm blaming in Aunt Flow. However, this contradicts what you said, so maybe its something else.

Yeah, I keep reminding myself that I am almost at 30 lbs loss, which is a good thing. And I'm feeling much better.

Sorry for my ignorance, lol, but what is "TOM'ers" I feel I should know this, but I don't. lol.

I definitley know how you feel!!! i have pleatued!!! and still feel like no matter how much weight i've already lost...it still isnt making a difference...

It's a big FAT LIE. You're so right. :)

I do get really frustrated. I also get really really bored of routine. lol. And it throws me off track. So I end up doing something not routine, and regret it because I see some effects that I don't like, then I get all motivated again and get back on track. It's insanity, I tell ya. lol

dont be too disheartened. You see yourself everyday - other people dont see you for a while - even a week and notice the difference.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks!!

Okay, so I thought of a new motivator. I've always wanted to be a plus sized model (NOT REALLY, REALLY, just dreamed about it). But I realize that I don't have the right stats for it, so it remained just a dream. I'm 5'6'' which is too short, and I don't have the best skin, and I'm wider on my bottom than I am on top which means that I'm not proportionate, and my teeth could use some braces. And I'm also really reallyyyyy shy. lol. Yeah, I'm not right for it. lol. So I just watch America's Next Top Model and dream that I'm in their shoes.

But when I get down to my 150 lb weight loss goal I think I want to do a fashion shoot. I'm gonna buy a bunch of clothes and go out with a professional photographer and get lots of photos done. I think that would be enough for me. Just one photoshoot at my goal weight. I mentioned this before as a motivator, but I'm gonna start slowly making it happen. Gonna save up enough money for the photoshoot and my clothes.

I'm thinking of using Jennifer Moss as my photographer. She's wonderful. Does a lot of plus models. But, I'm still going to research photographers. So yeah, I'm excited about the prospect.

As for what's going on... I've gained 2 lbs!! It's okay, I'm not letting it get me down. I'm not even going to bother changing my ticker because I do not plan to stay at this weight for much longer. It's just a temporary mishap.
