hey change i hope that curves scale will show progress :) but weight gain can also be muscle increase and water which is ok. this happens :) but it doesn't mean that that the inches are not going away or that your body isn't being sculped :) so don't worry. its not rice cookies. maybe you just need to balance your workout. don't do same amount of exercise every day, if you do the same your body will get used to it and will just maintain weight, push yourself just a bit further...prolong it by few minutes or something, or change pace.

i wanna see smile on your face you hear :) and don't forget that you ARE doing great.

I woke up this morning and its snowing!!! :eek: In Southern California?!?! Gorgeous. Little flakes drifting in the air. Wow. Of course it didn't last long but its still hella cold outside.

I didn't do my monthy weigh in on the 11th! The reason is because I did a second weigh in on December 16th cuz they wanted to remeasure me. Anyone remember that I gained inches? Well whatever, I had lost a lot of inches. So maybe I should just keep weighing in on the 16th now. Plus it will give me time to shed a lb or so.

in 3 times and take the best 2 outta 3 lol!
Your doing a great job and congrats on hitting the curves gym,
I am thinking about trying 1 out called town and country it's kind
of like the YMCA but has alot more for the kids to do.It's $5 to go
with the lady I babysit for so I was figuring $10 bucks a week 2 days
it's cheaper than a monthly membership.Well you have a gr8 weekend
and keep on rocking...Tammy:)

Snow? How fun. We have had a little up here in Oregon, but nothing too deep, but cold enough (18 degrees) for it to stay around in some areas.
How is Curves going? How many times a week do you go? I was planning on going back to my gym, but found out they closed. HMMMM, guess I will be looking into another gym, but for the time being I will workout with my WATP(Walk Away The Pounds) tapes.
I used to have so many issues with my scale and decided to put a little extra money in one. I got a triniton from Target and spent around 35-40$ for it. I am very happy with it. This is the second one I have owned, first one got busted when my son tripped over it and then dropped it when he picked it up. OOOPs.

Wow @ the snow! They have predicted snow as far south as 30 minutes north from here (I'm in South Alabama).

Curves is going great. I usually go everyday except Sundays. I would even go Sundays but they are closed. :( lol. I hope you find a gym soon!! That sucks that they closed it down. How are your walk away the pounds tapes going? What sort of exercising do they do?

I know, snow!! Crazy. We NEVER get snow down here, its always up in the mountains. It's just been really cold lately. What part of Alabama are you in? My brother lives in Mobile. I think I'm actually going to go visit him in February and check out what this Mardi Gras business is all about. Hope you're well.

So, I just want to thank everyone that helps me with encouraging words. Honestly, they are the central point of what keeps me going day after day. I still have some serious cravings when I just want to go into the kitchen and eat everything I see, but then I come to this board, and I just fight another day.

I have been really busy these past few days with a few projects I have, some errands I needed to take care of. I just been coming to the boards and posting on a few posts, but I haven't gotten a chance to read through diaries completely, forgive me. I will tonight. I hope everyone is well.

I just came to post my monthy measurement results, today was weigh in and measurement day.

So this is for December 16th - January 16th

Bust - 45.50 in. (-0)
Waist - 40.50 in. (-2.50 in)
Abdomen - 57 in. (-1 in)
Hips - 57 in. (-1 in)
Both Thighs - 68 in. (-.50 in)
Both Calves - 39 In. (-1 in)
Both Arms - 32.50 in (-.50 in)

Total Inches - -6.50in

Weight - 277.8 (-9.10 lb)

Body Fat - 45.70% (-.70%)


The lady that works at Curves told me to come in during the day if I can, and she wants to work the hell out of me, since I seem to be losing inches in my hips and thighs (the places where I need it) the slowest. I'm grateful that she wants to do this. Gawd, I love her, she's really something else... she tries to make Curves the best experience and the most beneficial ever.

It is great to see that they care ya know...I havent been since xmas I relaly gotta go back...Congrats on your inches lost looks good....if oyu are going to Curves everyday then you should join our Jan.14 - Feb.14 Exercise CHallenege...look into it when you have the chance...glad to hear you are doing ok...glad to hear we are of some help...LOL...Even though I havent been by much lately, I will include myself in your thanx, LOL...Have agood day or two Chicky!!!
 
So, I'm still doing bad in the food area. Here's what I do wrong- I tend to either be so exact and perfect, not indulging with my eating that I get bored. Or either I'm too indulgent and I get to the point where I just don't care, and I have no self control. With me its either do or don't do. I have to be perfect with it, or I just don't do it at all, there's no in between, and I think that's really hurting me.

The difference between posting my food here and at sparkpeople.com is that nobody can see it at sparkpeople. I need to start posting my food here again, so people can see what I eat, and maybe that will help me control myself a bit more.

I've also decided to eat smaller breakfastes because I tend to want to snack at night. I know I need to get my snacking back under control, maybe have a cutoff time of when I should stop eating. But if I do snack at night, I want to at least still be in calorie range. So smaller breakfastes should help, I'll see how that goes.

So, I'll see how that goes. I'll post all my nutrient ranges everyday and stick to it.

I definatley knowq where you are coming from.
I usually have a meal and desert of my choice on Friday's if
weigh in goes good well I lost 1.5 and decided to skip it well by
Monday I was going nuttz with cravings ect and I pigged out I
wish I would have ate Friday the that gives me to next friday to lose
again.
Another problem I have is I cant just have 1 and let it go it's either
alot of a bad thing or none I am still trying to solve this problem.
Anyway from what you have down your doing great just keep
it up and maybe we all will overcome the bad eating all together ;) !

you are doing so great change, you are evaluating yourself and that is more than half the process...to see what mentally is going on and try to change it! that is the biggest step...to admit what your doing wrong and then change it =-) keep up the wonderful work!
