MTM, I love the new avatar! You look fantastic!
Activities... I LOVE to walk, I do. I just can't seem to win the battle over the snooze button. The thing is when I do walk, I feel so much better, have so much energy. And, I know from experience it will put a real jump in my weightloss. Maybe I need to hire someone to call me at 6 in the morning and force me to get up! Ooh, if he's hot, that just may help! ;-) Let me know if you know of anyone!
On to the day's post....
Hello! It's 23 degrees here today. I had to walk across the bridge from parking because I work 11-7 and the shuttle stops at 10. It is so friggin' cold. My toes were popsicles and I couldn't feel my legs when I got in. At least one good thing came of it, it made me move faster! And, you'd think with me having such a late start today I could've gotten up and exercised? Heck no! I hit that snooze and slept until 9:30. I don't even do that on the weekends! What is wrong with me? I have such an aversion to exercise. I am allergic to it, I think!!! And, it's near impossible for me to exercise Tues. and Thurs. mornings since I have such long days with classes, I like to treat myself to that extra hour of sleep. I think I've gone overboard on treating myself. I'm going to have to light a fire under my butt!
Anyway, last night was good. Did my fish and broccoli combo with some sugar-free jello. And, I found Swiss Miss makes a good Diet Cocoa, only 25 calories. I've been rounding out my evenings with that because it warms me up! A good dollup of fat-free whipped cream on top helps, too!
Today I did another half-banana smoothie because I had a half a banana left. Tomorrow I'll be back with the pumpkin smoothies. For lunch I'm going to go out and get a tuna wrap from Au Bon Pain. I didn't want to carry lunch in my backpack as I ran across that bridge this morning. That probably would've resulted in a jello explosion! The wrap i usually get is 541 calories, so I'll have to keep tonight's choices very light. Probably just some broccoli and jello. Uh, not at the same time ;-) Tomorrow will be easy to keep on track because I have class 6-9, so that automatically makes me behave in the evening. One of the "perks" of being enrolled.
I am so cold here today. My fingers are frozen as well as my toes. I love having a window in my office, but the it isn't sealed properly and it gets near frigid in here. Brr brr brrr!!! I'm going to definitely have to break out the space heater! Hope it warms up soon!!
