The only pictures are of me in my underpants, sorry =)

Thanks for all your support guys. I feel great! mostly I was on a lower carb diet and did tons of walking. I did a couple of detox weeks and that really helped, kinda kick started my system. I gave up beer too, I was drinking alot (I was in my "party" phase I guess) and found that the empty calories were causeing alot of the flub! My buddy came up to me one day when I was talking about how much I hated being overweight and he said "It's okay I have a double chin too" that was it, I started the next morning. =)
I never thought that I would get to a point where I would look in the mirror and say holy crap I look good. And some days I'm not there. Does that happen to you guys too, You don't gain or change in any way but one day you feel great and the next you think you need to loose more? It drives me crazy!
Well it's an amazing day and I'm off for a walk!
Thanks again for all your support!!! \M/

SOMEBODY CALL A PARAMEDIC!!!!! This man's got a foot in his mouth!!!! :D

On a serious note though, I do believe that what we see in the mirror has more to do with our self-esteem and mood than what we actually look like. In the early days of mine and my hubby's relationship, I lost 35 pounds and got down to 164lbs. That is only 10lbs up from my current goal that I am not even sure I want to reach (I'm 5ft 9in and have quite a bit of muscle from doing an active job and working out). But at the time, my husband was having a rough time with the shop he owned (he is now a stress-free postie like me ;) ) and was constantly worried about money. I thought that he wasn't interested in sex because of me, and I lost that weight and things still didn't improve. I would look in the mirror and could not see any difference whatsoever .... I had lost 35lbs but felt the same!!!! Inevitably, I comfort ate and put all the weight back on. Now, even though I have gone back up by 20lbs, he is still very interested in me (;) ) so it just goes to show it wasn't the weight.

The mind is a tricky thing, and if I were you I would listen to what that little voice says when you are having a good day ... that is when it is being honest. You look really great!!! :)

Thanks Mrs.Bear. I've only been married for three years and I thought the problems with my love life *koff* =) were because of my weight gain after we got married, but since I've lost the weight things haven't really changed. Makes me think if there is something going on with him that I haven't considered.
I guess I'll have to see.
as for my weight loss, I'm down 7 pounds and lost and inch and a half on my waist. I feel awesome, but still have those days when I look in the mirror and am disgusted. It's really something I wish would stop =S
I have been taking medication for depression for three years and a couple of weeks ago my Dr. said that I could come off of them. Since then I have noticed that my weight seems to be staying off, it used to be that i went a couple of calories or carbs over what I had set for myself and I gained weight so quickly. I had a doughnut yesterday (okay two! =)) and I maintained. I can't believe it, things are finally starting to go the way I want them to.
I am still doing the Carmen Electra strip to fit routines and they hurt so good ha ha ha ha. I can't believe the inches that I'm loosing just because of the work out a day. I also started going tanning every other day. Its amazing what a tan can do for you! I look healthy, and i'll consider the side effects of going later, cause right now it feels so good.
Sorry just had some stuff on my mind and wanted to vent...thanks for reading .

That is such a good idea about the tanning, it can give your self image such a boost. And especially now that you will be showing off your hot new body more. You won't have that awkward bit when you first go out with you white bits showing!! :D

Keep up the fab work, and remember, you have worked really hard and you truly look fantastic, so go and enjoy yourself :)

I just looked at your pictures and you look amazing!! I can't believe you don't see it yourself. You should listen to your hubby!!!

Wow. you've really inspired me! I can only hope that my results look like yours! uve done an amazing job :)

awww thanks! I haven't posted in a while, I have to take some new pics. I've been working out sooo much! I'm toning as was suggested and my number may not be going down but my self esteem sure is going up!!! I can't believe the changes that are going on! I appriciate all your guys support, it's nice to hear it from someone who doesn't have to say it =)

I was just skimming through your previous posts and noticed you mentioned you did a detox a couple of times. I was wondering what kind of detox diet you did.

I did a couple, on involves drinking nothing but a mix of water, lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper. Sounds wierd I know =) but you do that for a week and then slowly reintroduce other foods. If you google "master cleanse" you can get the recipe and diet. I aslo tried using some herbal stuff, I tried something called the internal flush. That really worked, I was losing a pound a day and following the diet that came with it, that was really quite yummy!
and I have this cute thing called detox in a box, you just eat really detoxifying foods and do yoga to get your body working. =)

I actually just bought a magazine that had the lemon juice ceyenne pepper detox in it... how funny. i just don't think that i can stomach the maple syrup... just the smell of that stuff makes me sick. What was in the internal flush? I think that I am going to go and google that now!

Homemakers!

Hey there! I was just looking at your profile and noticed that you too are a homemaker! :D Do you think that being a homemaker made it more difficult to lose the weight that you did? Or do you think that maybe it helped because it gave you so much more free time?

I think that being home has really given me more time to work out..but it also gives me more time to eat! It's kind of silly, i can subside my cravings when my hubby is at work, but most days he works from home and I find it sooo easy to fall into "treating" myself. He He. But I definetly think being home has helped, if I wanna go for a walk, I walk. =)

I agree with you. When my hubby is home I feel like it's ok to eat but when he is not home I can maintain myself really well. I just have to start taking more advantage of my extra time and start exercising more!

sooo it's weigh in day and i'm down 7 pounds, like I said I'm not losing much but I'm toning like mad! I'm really happy with whats happening to my body! I've never been able to say that before :D . I'm fitting into clothes that I've never been able to fit into before and I'm soooo excited! The only pic I have doesn't really show how much I'm losing but I think it's cute;)
So yup feeling good!

down 7 pounds!! You're awesome! The pic doesn't show much...... but, it is cute!!:) I like your top. Toning is good. What do you do to tone... just weight training?

ooooo fun for you and your hubby!!;) I get it... haha. I always did wonder about those. I think I will go and get a couple to try out!

I really like them, especially the second one that works on toning and getting you in shape for the dance routines! if you were going to get any one I would suggest the second! It's hard but definetly worth it =)
