seated leg press - 5x5x345 (+5)

Bench - 5x5x135 (+5) woot! woot! I'm back at 2 full plates yay!! Last rep was tough, but I did it.

Inverted rows 3xF - (8/7/6)

Reverse crunches - 3x25

Push-ups - 3xF (11/10/9) +3 reps, up to a total of 30 now

Cardio - 15.5 spinning

Welcome my friend, and yes, my journal does tend to have a certain atmosphere... but it is a fun one!
 
Quick posting, nothing special. Life goes on, counting down to my vacation, about 2 weeks now til we leave. Getting cold here in my neck of the woods, but really no snow yet, thankfully.

Thursday Cardio, 15.1 miles spinning.

Will do weights again today.
 
There's nothing wrong with pervy! I just have to be careful of whose threads I check out at work, and whose I leave til after-hours :)

Friday workout:
Seated leg press 5x5x350 (+5) Squat rack is always busy lately. Kinda ticks me off, but I'd rather do leg presses on the day I do rack pulls anyhow, so Squats on Monday.

Overhead press – 4x5x85, 1x4x85, I was +5 on weight, but failed on my last rep. I could drop back 5 lbs, but I think I’ll try and make the full sets/reps next workout.

Rack pulls – 2x5x305 (+10)

Lat pull downs – 3xFx190 (8/7/6), that was good I added reps, one more cycle and I’ll go to 195 lbs FWIW if anyone actually follows the details here (I mostly write them up for my own records) I alternate. Today I used a supinated (palms toward me), narrow grip on the lat bar, usually I switch up between that and a pronated mid grip.

Planks – 3x50 sec

All the bikes were being used so I just cooled down on the track for a few laps rather than do cardio. I’ll cycle tomorrow.

Cabanova!! Mind if i ask where you started with your strength work-outs?? As in, what weight were you lifting when you first started ur weight loss adventure?) And what exactly are "planks"? Bit of a language barrier I think :) and i like the atmosphere of your diary, whatever word you use to describe it :p xx
 
No moon... I'm no runner, walking or cycling only really. Every time I run my knees pay for it the next day. You having fun this weekend honey?

Katie these are planks They can also be done straight arm. I do them this way which works the core a bit more, whereas straight arm you feel in your arms chest more.

When I first started out my workouts looked much different. I probably benched half that and same for squats. legs were always fairly strong but untrained.

This workout is a good system though, keeps me moving forward and is incrementally more intense as I up the weight. I like it.
 
Cabbie, I think you might need to start a beginner's cabbie workout thread called "How to get those perfect womanly charms...the Cabbie way!"...and walk us all through what we should start doing...!!
