The long and winding road hurts my fat feet

Really? What makes doing cardio and weight training together so bad? I always do cardio and then some weight lifting---I haven't felt bad or anything...does it like stop the weight loss?
 
Basically, when you lift, it puts such a stress on your body it needs recovery time. When you do cardio, it zaps all the sugars out of your blood, and you need that glucose to continue. If you want to do both, its better to lift first, because it helps in injury prevention. The other way around, the muscles will do funny things and you end up hurt.

The other thing is that when you do cardio after a lifting workout, you body goes anerobic, and uses vital tissue instead of fat deposits for energy.

Right. Entire package. My mom tells me that too.

Last night I missed my workout whilst christmas shopping. I got my wife a vera bradley bag, just as she instructed. I paid too much for it, in my opinion, as they are all overpriced.

Just think, in a couple of weeks, this place will be swamped with newbs and their resolutions.
 
Christmas shopping can be a workout!!! Dodging cars in the parking lot, lifting insanely heavy packages, sweating while you are overdressed for where you are.....You are right about newbies after 1/1, but at least they are going to try.
 
Hmmm...interesting about the strength training after cardio. I always do my cardio first, because if I don't, then I don't have the energy to do it at all.

Alright, I am going to eat moderately good this week, and then next week kick some anus on the eating end of things, to match my hardcore workouts.

On holiday i was on some exercise equipment and it read my heart rate at 100/ps and i thought i was going to easy on myself so i went harder.
Anyway i realized after a while that it was wrong by a fair bit :/

Maybe the gym will call me tomorrow and tell me if I dont go down there my membership is cancelled. :D
 
Ok Maldo, The informal race to lose 20 is on, and you are screwed because the last 2 days I have been fighting Avian Flu Jr.

Its horrible. I slept 20 hours yesterday. This morning, horrible things appeared in my toilet. Yeah, this is the pits.

BTW - my starting weight was 275 - so that means to kick your cute butt i need to get to 255...:D
