I know! Diet is such a bad word and I use it all the time :blush5: I know what you mean about the scale, I stayed away from it this week and I feel like I'm lost lol The good thing is you are keeping up with your routine so I hope you'll be pleasantly surprised when you and the scale are reunited :D

Probably gone over by about 1000 calories.. Should only be roughly maintenance limit though.
Been up so long and intending on staying up all night and it's TOM so I'm sooooo hungry all the time!
Tomorrow shall be better! Or at least not worse :p
 
Why are you staying up all night all the time??? Did I miss the explanation for that?

Wooo, so much walking! Well done my lovely. Take-outs are my biggest weakness right now as well--Spesh at lunch-time and all the deals are so cheap and it's easy. Mehhh. MUST RESIST!
 
We're trying to fix Martins sleeping pattern so he's not nocturnal anymore! He woke up at 5pm so we decided to stay up all night because it *might* work.
Unfortunately we share a room so if he's up I'm up!!
Went to sleep around 5 for 3hours and going to sleep properly tonight finally!! I hope anyway :p
 
Well sleeping normally didn't last for long!!
Ah well.
Food has been pretty good. Finished yesterday on 1700 ish, little bit more than I would have liked but still pretty good to say I ate a LOT!
Noticed a pattern that I had one "bad" day then two good.. For about four cycles now.
So today I'm determined to be good!
Should be easy seen as though because of waking up stupidly late and writing my essay and staying in bed I've had 88 calories so far today.....
Need to go shopping!!!
 
I baked!!
Relatively healthy highish fibre buns :)
They are made with wholemeal flour, grated parsnip, crushed pineapple and raisins :)
They use oil instead of butter though.. So the calories aren't amazing! I might make them again but substitute the oil for something.. Don't know what though.
Plain yoghurt, mashed bananas or applesauce apparently..
Might get some yoghurt in and try it.
They'll be quite high protein then too.
I'm off to calculate :)

OMG I have been wanting something baked ALL day and this sounds really very good!
 
They're gorgeous!! But I have to be sooo careful with how many I eat at a time because I made the full fat version! *naughty piggy*
Going to make them again next week but healthy so I'll have to let you know how the yoghurt version go too. If they work I'll post the recipe, if not I'll post the fatty recipe :p

Been doing pretty good food wise. I even had chip shop chips in my daily calories yesterday!
Had a mahoosive salad today so far (didn't get up until 4pm) that was 300 calories exactly. I had a ton of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and pepper, with some sliced beef and mozzarella and a slice of wholemeal bread on the side :)
I'm off to "Walk Away the Pounds" shortly. Found a 2 mile one thats good for your abs apparently. But I don't have a resistance belt so I'm going to lift my dumbells instead and hold them throughout the entire workout :) It's only half an hour long too so should be good :)

STILL NO SCALE!!! How good am I? :p

Two non scale victories the other day too.
Firstly, you know how I've been walking everywhere recently? Well I was walking the other day and I suddenly realised, I was walking really really fast.. And I wasn't struggling!! :) Also I made it up a bridge (it's a really stupidly steep bridge) and I wasn;t knackered and hadn't had to slow down to get up it!!!!!!!

Secondly, you know how I used to work at Subway? Well I found my pants I used to wear when I was working there about a year ago now. And they never were big on me, never overly tight but they weren't an amazing fit. Anyway, I needed some pants for work so I grabbed these to try on and guess what?! Both pairs are now too big for me!! Like a lot :)

Anyway, I managed to stay off the scale although I really really wanted to last night but I'm doing well without it.
I'm doubting I'll have as big of a loss as I'd hoped, as I've always struggled to lose weight anyway.
But I do have goals and rewards set.

My reward if I get to Easter without getting on the scale is a new haircut :)
It was going to be a cut and dye but 1 that costs a lot and 2 I can dye it myself :p
My reward once I finally reach my 189 goal (was my lent goal but I figured it's too ambitious) is an Easter egg!!! I've said I'm not having one until I hit 189!
My final reward once I hit goal size (decided my GW is jsut an estimate, but I'm stopping when I'm happy with my size) is a tattoo :)
I have it picked out but not drawn or designed yet as I'm crap so it'll take some work!!

Anyway, as this post is stupidly long I'm going to stop now!!

I'm up at 12 today! Went to sleep at like 7 :p
We were gunna stay up and go get a McD's breakfast so I'm kind of glad it failed lol

The Walk Away the Punds was brilliant. I used 2kg dumbells and held them when they were using the resistnace bands then did whatever they did with they're arms. Some were a little fast to do safely so I just slowed them down. I was so sweaty by the end of it! I burned roughly 250 calories. I was wanting chocolate fudge cake sooo badly, and I thought, well at least if I exercise my calories won't take a massive hit.. Then by the time I'd finished I didn't want it!!! I had a wholemeal pitta with tuna mayo cheese and cucumber.
In fact, I didn't have that slice of cake at all!
I may have had a couple of my muffins though... Much better for me at least :p
I've been feeling really good about everything the past couple of days and it makes me want my scale so badly but I will NOT give in to temptation!!!!!
Gunna have a glass of juice or milk then head off into town I think, will go for a subway and get a salad again.. Or maybe a sub, but I didn't enjoy it that much last time.

Going to get some yoghurt so I can try make those healthier muffins too. less than 100 calories each and 2g of fibre.

There is a Japanese survival horror series called Silent Hill which you have probably heard of.
Well anyway, my boyfriend is a HUGE fan of the music from it and covers some of it from time to time. He did one quite recently and a girl asked if she could sing over the top of his version.
It's really good, she's from Singapore but her English is amazing and she's got a pretty great voice.
My boyfriend is playing the bass and guitar on the recording which he tabbed out from the original.
So here it is :)

Aside from two chocolates (a friend in uni handmade them) and a chuppa chup I've been good so far.
I had a prawn and pasta salad thingy. 380 calories, biggish salad, pasta and mayo and stuff in it so it's not bad.
Don't know whats for tea tonight but I do know I'm going to exercise :)
 
Really impressed you have stayed off of the scale!!

Keep on the straight and narrow so you get a great suprise when you do hop back on. Brill news about the trousers being too jumbo!

I was having a crap day and decided to get on and get boyf to tell me if it was higher, lower or the same...
Then I bullied him into telling :(
And I got on again this morning to double check!

Which is good because I was flitting around 207.5 again.
But I'm soooo disappointed with myself!
From now i'm back off them though for at least a week.
But I think I do need the scale to keep me in check.

The pants seem even bigger today just one week later.. and even my knickers I had on today were almost falling down!

I'm exercising more, still doing a lot of walking. Walked up a stupid hill and a million stairs today because I was slightly lost. I was soo gross when I got in, it's really hot and sunny too!!

Food yesterday was good :) All day!! Pretty balanced and I barely snacked. Martin was eating ice cream and I had less than a spoonful!!! :O
 
I suppose... I was pretty gutted at the time because it didn't seem like a lot but the more I think about it, a loss is a loss!!
