The final countdown!

Hey Nostalgic,
I know what you mean about the boot buying. That was one of the benefits of losing the weight for me...off the shelf boots actually fit me! I did actually lose weight in my legs...I can't tell you why, but I guess my body just packed it on there! Keep up the walking and stairs and I'm sure if there is fat on your legs, it will eventually come off! My fat came off my back and tummy before it came off in my legs..and of course my gut and hips are still hinging on! That us where I hope this last 20 pounds will come from to get that last fat roll off !
Keep up the good choices, and take care of yourself..lots of stress for you lately.
Good choices to you!
Sarah

I have been opting for the stairs too... about 3 weeks now. The more I take 'em, the less outta breath I am. Lifting weights is good for taking inches off legs as well. Also squats.
I'm the opposite with boots. I have to wear sweatbands (like those wristbands for tennis) and socks in my boots b/c I have a small frame, skinny ankles. Being big boned is a real thing, not an excuse! Everyone has different size frames.

Thanks both.

New boots and shoes in general are out of the question for a few more months, pregnancy gives you bigger feet :-/
I still can't wear my wedding ring yet either but it's getting closer to slipping on.

80.5 this morning and I have 80 euros in my money box YAY!

Thxsies :D

Treat tomorrow, I'm meeting a friend at the Irish bar....
Onion rings, onion rings and more onion rings plus a glass of wine to wash it down.
Can only get them in a few Irish bars here :(

Also, I might be getting a double push chair tomorrow. One of those really compact ones YAY! Half price from someone who's selling it. I will check it out but it sounds great. The model I wanted. I've been searching the second hand sites and my friend found this one on her mothers group site.
175 euros compared to brand new 380 euros.

^^ thanks :D

13488 steps today so over the 10,000 yay!
Had my treat mentioned above and loved every bite. Back to being good tomorrow.

Got that push chair, great bargain.
Lucien cried when he saw it... He's not a fan of new things but he will get used to it.
It will be so much better. It's compact and not a train like some. Living on the second floor it's easier.
It's this one

Great pusher Suz. I can see you getting around Paris with that. I wish I could come back over & meet you & your little ones! xoxo Cate

Lucien went in it today but it caused a huge drama and he cried for ages.
The poor little guy, new brother, new push chair.... He's constipated as well,to top it off. He's finally down to sleep and I'm buggered!!

2 kids, my sports may have to be early mornings before they wake.
Need to make an appointment for the kini so I can get started.

Over 10,000 steps again today yay!

Cate, when were you in Paris and would you do another trip?
Coffee, tea or wine on a terrace in a nice cafe.... I can so see us there!

Aww poor babies. They don't take we'll to new things do they but he will get used to it. You deserve a good rest after your day. :)

Hi Suz, It will be years before we'll be back, unless we have a financial windfall! We were in Paris in May this year, for my 60th birthday. I have sent you a friend request on the forum as I have been getting spam PM's. Cheers, Cate.

Thx angel,
He's ok with it now thank god! It's easier than using the old push chair and the baby front pack, hurts your shoulders after a while.

Thx cate.
I just accepted :)
May is a good time to come, happy 60th for back in may... Better late than never :D
It's kinda sad really as I'm from nz and live in Europe but haven't travelled round much... Only Greece, London, Andorra and round France. Would love to see Italy and Spain.

Well..... I have the flu :( I had to Skype mum this morning as yesterday I had issues speaking as my throat felt like it had a dry scratchy golf ball in it all day. I also ate too much bread and butter but I really gain an appetite when I'm sick... Was better that than the mc Donald's I wanted.
I feel better today but my nose is all clogged and I'm getting a cough.

04 /09 = 80.0 (onion rings, fries, glass of wine, big cake from bakery. )
05/09 = 80.7
06/09 = 80.5
07/09 = 80.3
08/09 = 79.8 (too much bread and butter)
09/09 = 80.7

Wow Nostalgic! When it rains it pours! Hope your children get better soon! As you know, I'm not able to get exercise now, so I also monitor the steps! Good job on 10k steps in the day!
Thanks for dropping my my diary...yes, business trips can be a derailed...my problem is not what I eat now...it's portion control! Back to it this week!
Keep up the good choices!
Sarah

Thx both,
Yeah it's a worry for Owen since he's still so little. He seems ok though but we have to clean his nose regularly. Lucien has a runny nose also.
No idea how we all for it as he weather has been hot.

Thanks. Today and yesterday my steps have been below 2000 :-o
But I am sick so I've been doing the minimum. Not much cleaning has been done.

I do hope that hip of yours gets better soon. Portion control is hard, I have issues with that but am being so strict.
2 weetbix for breakfast but I could easily eat 4.
I am snacking but it's on dried fruit instead of chocolate and biscuits like before.

I hope you feel better soon!!! Don't worry about your steps right now, you'll get right back on track once you feel better!

Thanks :)
Steps were better today 7984 and I weighed 79.6 but had mc Donald's for dinner :( so hopefully tomorrow the scales are still nice and I stay below the 80s
Well, it's our 10 year anniversary since our first date and with a toddler and a baby going out for dinner was impossible so we settled for takeout McDonald's. I also ate 170gms of nestle caramel cooking chocolate for dessert :-o oops

I got a beautiful pair of earrings from hubby (love him) and I wasn't expecting anything. I didn't get him anything but he's ok with that. We weren't planning on doing gifts and I didn't have anytime to shop for one.
