The final countdown!

I did have fun :D
I really didn't expect the wine to affect me as it did. I remember drinking 4 glasses in half that time and being ok lol

The main thing is that you had a good time with lots of laughter. We all need that from time to time! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. :)

Hi Nostalgic! How are you?
I saw your post about the tim tams and one of my friends who went to visit his family in Australia brought me some (he is obsessed with chocolates and biscuits)
and they are really good! Wish they had them here but then again maybe it's best so I don't eat a lot haha
Can't wait for that pic too! xx

Tim Tams are so delicious they are EVIL. I never buy them as they have gluten, but used to back in the fat days. They were for my kids, right. Yeah, right! Could explain how I got to 111kg! :blush5: One more pound sweets & that half way party will be celebrated again & then the 3/4 party ...........xoxo Cate.

Hi all,

Sorry for the absence. First week back at work and Owens been really sick with the flu. I'm glad hubby took this week off.
Owens ok but we did take him to emergency one night as his cough was so bad and a fever of 38.8, I was so worried.
Work.... I could write a novel on how unhappy I am to be back lol

I've done well though during this horrible week and weigh in At 74.4kg

Tim tams... Yes! They are just so yummy! It's the one and only nz or aussi thing I can get in my local supermarket. My only other option is to order from sanza.co.uk. They have a nz and aussi section!

I've had to give up my pedometre :(
The metal clip has irritated my skin, I don't normally have allergies to metal and can wear every type of earring but now even my earrings cause irritation if I wear them too long.
Maybe pregnancy can change that in your body?
I ordered a fitbit one as it has a silicone clip. Can't wait till it arrives plus it will automatically update to my tactio health app:D

Awww... I hope Owen is feeling better. I don't have children, but I get all stressed with my animals when they're sick. Can't imagine dealing with a sick child. :(

Thx both ^^
Little big Owen is heaps better, it was so stressful but I'm glad he's better.

How many pets do you have Mandy?

73.8 I'm getting there yay!

I'm in a mood and want big chocolate cake!

I still have a poochy belly! I keep doing the test and sometimes I feel three finger spaces and sometimes two between my abs.
Sometimes I think it's ok and my belly will still go down, other times I think it's going to be like that forever. It's hard not to over work my abs with a baby and a toddler and I'm scared to damage them and have the gap forever.
I will have to make sure I start doing those exercises daily, it's just hard! By the time I get home from work and be with the kids I'm just not motivated to do boring exercises..... I want my POLE! I miss it!

This on top of going back to work way to early as Owen is only 3 months old, on top of hating my job, on top of cant stop chewing my nails, on top of feeling fat......

:( :( :(

I didn't eat chocolate today although I wanted some so badly.... I'm in a mind set of being depressed because I can't eat it and if I did then Depressed because I ate it.... It's a lose lose situation!

I'm having such a bad week mentally

Being close to Halloween what about buying mini chocolates. When you really really crave have one mini one and you won't feel as bad but also not as depressed and deprived. If you count calories you could even plan it in your day.

Hi,

Yes, what Icy said, try one mini chocolate. Or try the dark chocolate that has a high percentage (60-70%) of cocoa in it. Energy First said "dark chocolate has actual health benefits for your body, in addition to the well-known soothing effect on your emotions...Eat chocolate in moderation. A few bites are sufficient. Any more and you’re eating too much sugar."

My mom told me about this and I went and got some that was 70% and I just break off a little bit. I hope this helps. My hubby is a choco-maniac (like my sister) and eats anything with chocolate after dinner, so I'm going to see if he likes the dark chocolate because it actually helps you more than milk chocolate.

I’m glad to hear Owen’s is better. To answer your question, I have a cat (she’s 18 years old), 3 dogs (all boxers ages 10.5, 2, and 1.5), a bearded dragon, and several fish. They keep me busy! :)

I’m sorry you’re having such a rough week. I know you want to lose weight, as we all do, but at the end of the day try to remember what’s really important in life. Your kids! So if it comes down to having to choose between playing with them or doing boring exercises, choose them. You’ll only get to enjoy them at this age once so spend time with them and enjoy it, don’t feel guilty about not working out. Maybe after a while that’ll help you to get refocused on your weight loss journey again. :)

Hope you're feeling better sweetie. It must be very hard for you going back to work! Sending you a great big hug! xoxoxo Cate

Apologies for my long absence,
I've been struggling with the return to work and need to change jobs before I fall into a deep depression. My CV is done I just need to proof read it and get it translated.
My mum just had a mass removed from her ovaries, she looked like she was about to drop twins so I was very stressed about the operation. She's ok and that's the main thing. She's home recovering. Being so far away was hard.
I wanted to start pole this weekend but came down with a cold :(
I'm just looking forward to my holiday to nz in jan. I can't wait to see my mum.

Although I've had some stressful times I'm still managing to drop. I'm behind on my goals but slowly dropping and I am now in the healthy weight zone YAY me!

Sorry to hear about your mom and the job. Glad your mom is home now and recovering. Hope you find a new job soon! That should help a lot with the stress. And great job being in the healthy weight zone now! That is awesome!!

I am sorry about your mom, but glad she is recovering. Good luck with your search for a new job. At least you have gotten the CV creation/revision out of the way. Sometimes that first step is the hardest part. It is terrific though that you have been able to continue losing weight through these hard times. I hope that you are able to glide over this possible depression, and if not, I hope you can lift away from it quickly.
