The Final Countdown

I am indeed fun at parties. Me and my Wii.

So, my wife and I are dealing with this accident she was in almost 2 years ago, and its stressing me out. Lawyers involved...et cetera. If they want to sue for my student loans and mortgage...cool. Have at it.

So the nerves have kept my apetite down. I made a goals sheet for my whole life and the ones relevant to the board are:

Eat perfectly 5 days a week, like food is medecine, not entertainment. Eat well the other 2.

Workout 6 days a week.

So far so good. Tonight I think I will go and swim...since its like -20 windchill and what not. Its always good to leave the gym in wet clothes. Or at least with a wet head. In this weather.

I simply could not imagine.

And I hear ya about lawyers and such...
My concern these days is insurance...Every break a priceless piece?

giggle giggle giggle giggle

he said head -he did :D

my hair froze dry this morning thru my wool cap... i just didnd't have the energy to blow dry - when i pulled off my hat when i got on te bus - the cap stuck to my hair :D

it's quite the glamour don't look today :D

Hmmm...
I wonder if that's a style that will catch on.

Probably not in CA though ;)

My wii is dusty, it doesn't get played with very often. I waited 15 hours though to play it the first time. The analogy continues.

I need to go to the gym, but the house is trashed, and I feel like cleaning. That and its you know, bitterly cold out.

Ok, I am swimming tonight.

I just picked up a great book called Total Immersion. Its about swim techique and what not....

But did you know that:
Swimming 1 mile = jogging 4 miles
swimming is the only excercise that once you are done with it, your joints are healthier
it helps cardiovascular health by massaging the veins and arteries- just the pressure of the water and flow of it.
no excercise uses more muscles- (except cross country skiing)

wow great minds or something :D

i love the title of the book - just totally immerse yourself and you'l be swimming or drowning before you know it :D

I did - and as someone who swam in high school and college the 800m butterfly - swimming one mile is hard work :D

Tisk Tisk.

I am a Puritan after all....

Now I must eat some more graham crackers. (That's what we call an intellectual joke).

:::gasp:::
And my kid does this 5 nights a week, two hours a night - roughly 70-80 laps each night (1750-2000 yards) 71 laps equal a mile.

Poor kid - no wonder she is STARVING when she gets out of the water!

remeber when I was going to proofread what I post...Buh, wah, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
