Hi Angel

Well done for keeping within your calorie range, having your water and doing 30 minutes exercise. :hurray:

I know what cravings to nibble are like. That is one reason why I nibble so many shreddies. If I am going to eat - I try to eat healthy stuff so that my body gets some fuel. Grapes are brilliant for nibbling.

It is too late to mention it now - but whenever we go on a long car journey (e.g. West London to Newcastle) I fill an old ice cream container with washed and seperated grapes just for me. Whenever I want to eat something I eat a grape. I got through the entire container on Thursday and my weight was down the next day. If I had nibbled anything else I am sure that my weight would have been up.

i just got back from WIGAN! had a good time. went shopping but didn't buy any clothes. can't wait for the summer when i can go on a big spree lol!!

anyway i will be back later after i've put some food in my tummy and visit everyones diarys.

I am pleased that you had a good time in Wigan.

I have never been there - but when I was young one of my friends used to say that there was a very good nightlife there - it being a centre of northern soul...... That takes me back to when I was your age.

(Angel is probably digging out history books to try and follow my aged ramblings).

it was good! not been there since i was 5. family friends lol! so we randomly decided to go down yesterday.

it is supposed to have a good nightlife but i can't say.

books?!?! whats one of those (looks extremely puzzled)...OH!! them paper thingies!! nope not seen one of those in a long time!! its all about the internet now! hehe!

calories = TOO MANY

excercise = NOT ENOUGH


i know this isn't the best day i've had or the best entry lol. i had a really good time today and i'll just have to do a lot of cardio in the next few days to compensate for the extra calories.

hope 2008 is a good year for you and me ;)

Thankfully my degree was in computing so I have a chance of keeping up with you youngsters...
Something about having to learn everything fresh and reinvent yourself every five years to save myself from looking like a dinosaur - even when I was in my twenties....

Dont worry about a little over-indulgence on a special occasion - get straight back on track. A little extra exercise sorts out these things beautifully.

We are going to look great for our birthdays this year!

water = 500ml (WHAT?!)

calories = 1100-1200 (WHAT AGAIN?!)

excercise = NONE


hopefully tomorrow will be better. had a really busy day today. thats why the low calories. :angelsad2: oh well am getting my wekly weigh in on thursday and it doesn't look very promising yet but i know my waist has lost centimeters so its all good!

so ok today wasn't sooo bad. although i did eat a lot of biscuits. i didn't go over my calorie range which is good all because i slept till 2:30 in the afternoon!!! can't believe it! i've never woken up that late but ui have had a pretty busy week and went to sleep at 5 last night! my fault!

anyway i've joined the biggest loser challenge. i don't think i'll be losing much weight according to the scales. i've only lost 3 pounds in the last 5 weeks accorsing to that thing but then again i should get points for the excercise!

OMG!!! i was not planning on buying any clothes till the summer now and mums just been and brought me some new tops. to be fair i haven't told anyone and she just can't go shopping without buying something for us kids.hmm they are nice tops though--got em cheap in the sales! i can't believe the amount of clothes i have though...i don't even know what half of them are and how long i've had them. i've got new clothes waiting to be worn! i'm still living in clothes which are 1 or 2 sizes big for me. must get rid of some....in the summer!

haha thanx STACY - i tried to read back the other day and got lost! i'm planning on printing this and binding it once i reach my goal! can't wait! then i'll try and read through it and make sense of it haha!

so i'm starting the BLS challenge tomorrow like many of you---woohoo! so i'm not going to see today as a day and my new weigh in and start of week day is going to be friday rather than thursday (today).

i did the spreadsheet like margaret adviced on many occasions!!! lol! and it has really helped. i have 70 boxes across the week. if i match or exceed the goal i colour it green, if i do ok i colour it orange and if i don't reach it i colour it red!

anyway for week 1 i got:

50% green
20% orange
10% red
20% grey = didn't fill in for various reasons!

so all in all not a bad week but i can see clearly now the things i am falling back on (junk calories) which will be helped by the BLS challenge! also the things i'm good at (excercise and water). need to work harder on staying in the calorie range but i'm getting there.
