The Coffeebro Before, During and soon to be After

No problem with the questions. I had them too when I started. There is no magic formula. There is just what works for you. There is a guy on here, thedarwinfish or Brad whichever, that really gets into the percentage of fat, carbs, and protein you should take. I havent paid too much attention to it. For me I had to keep it simple or I would lose my will to keep going. All I did was stop eating so much sugar and fats, note I said not to eat as MUCH not cut them out completely, and eat less food. I cut my calories down to 1500 to 1800 a day. I would eat a lot more veggies, fruits, and nuts as fillers. Through it all I still ate whatever the heck I wanted to. I would just cut my intake of the bad stuff and make sure to count my calories. I would also take one day a week to enjoy myself. I would increase my calories up to 2500 at the most and just enjoy the day. As for water, they say that on average we should drink 8-10 8oz glasses of water a day. Since I work out hard I do a minimum of 10 and up to 14 glasses. Your body needs the water to work right and I see huge differences in my weight loss when I drink enough.

You have to remember that this is your system. You have to find what works for you. At one point I got in to a bet with a coworker to see who could lose the most weight. That really motivated me.

Never hesitate to ask me anything you want. We are all here to help each other out. Ive found some great friends here that have really helped me.

Thanks guys!

So that was it? Eat right, excercise, and lots of water. No supplements, protein shakes, vitamins? Sounds amazingly easy, yet difficult when you think about how many people know this, but do not ever commit to it. Again, thanks and I'm sure I'll have more questions along the way. I'm glad I stumbled into this forum.

I take a daily viatiman. Thats it. I went with what all Doctors tell you. "Cut your intake and exercise more." Thats all I do.

Hey Matt! Yer looking good, mate. Nice to see you're still on board. I got my computer back and everyone is back at work so I should be back on here more often. It's amazing how much better I do when I am active here. The last month or so without my computer and with everyone taking vacations kept me off here and while I didn't put any weight back on, I certainly progress like I should've.

Isnt it funny how other people see the changes in us more than we do? LOL I look at you and think "OMG, what a change since April" then I look at myself and think "Mmm, yeah lost a little weight. Could have done more."

Matt, darlin, you have helped all of us out, too, along the way. I know I have already told you this, but I want to say it here, too. CONGRATS on getting where you are. I know it wasn't easy. You look great! How's school going?
