The cocoon of AnneMouse

woke up at 85.1kgs this morning, which was nice, it would seem my little plateau is finally behind me :)

had a really good day eating wise, even went to the movies with only water. Had a really bad day exercise wise, and so adjusted my calories accordingly.

forward!

woke up at 84.7 today, Yusss!

the weekend is here, and I expect I'll be eating out more than once, but whichever of the regular restaurants we go to, I know what I can choose from the menu to keep within healthy. One place, which has become sort of a favourite of my fiance's, does a spinach and feta filled pancake, one huge pancake filled with about 800gms of cooked spinach and a handful of danish feta = 3 meals, it costs less than most of the meals on the menu, tastes amazing, and I'm getting all that spinach without the effort of cooking it myself.

exercise wise, I'm expecting to not get more than a 15-20 minute walk in, but know I'll be far more active than I usually am during the week, so I'm ok with it.

forgot how hard this is when the entire family is at home >.>

right now, in the kitchen is:

moist chocolate ganache cake

lemon/condensed milk tart

custard slices

chocolate spread

premade pastas and bolognaise sauces

creamy butternut and bacon soup

mashed potatoes-heavy on the butter

and in the green corner:

a spinach and clear mushroom soup

clean, "fried in water" chicken breast

84.5kgs this morning, but I have to keep opting for the green corner through the day to make this stick, wish me luck.

a week ago, I didn't even have normal bread as an available option (kept it in the freezer)

so I gained a little while adjusting to having all the temptation around me(about a kg in a week and a half), and lost a little in recovery( that same kg the following week) and then I flew to work on site at one of my clients. living and working with a team of guys is not exactly helping the situation. It's a little like camping. no scale. no proper mirror.a lot of social eating. I'm fighting back by taking walks regularly (daily but dependant on weather) saying no thanks to extra snacks etc.

I don't know how it's going, as I don't really have any way to asses.

except 1

I have a silicone belt which I cut smaller whenever it gets too large for me to wear it on anything but the first or second peg hole (no going back, right?) and I've cut off almost a pen's length since being here.
