Thanks Mands! I had to buy a sketch pad to make that drawing. I haven't drawn anything in over a year, but nature is generally the theme and insects are a passion of mine.
I hope things are going well for you. The proposed taxes your Prez is suggesting seem crazy.

Another product of my free time and wonderfully restful weekend. It's a green tree frog (Hyla cinerea). I'm going to try to draw more often. It's nice to be creative.
I like frogs too. I've seen thousands during this project lately as the weather has warmed and today's cold snap made me think of how the green tree frogs huddle up when it's cold so I found a couple photos and sketched it.
I've never seen a green tree frog in person. I'm not sure I have them where I live. Pretty sure it gets too cold. I don't suppose they're found in Appalachia?
324.8 this morning which is up a little. I drank 3.5 liters of water in the field today and ate well so hopefully tomorrow will be better on the scale. Tons of walking today. About 7 hours actually in field and mostly on foot.
That's some hard work you're doin'. And some excellent artistic skills. I decided to test out some of my drawing skills, what do you think? (it's a rough sketch right now, not quite finished).
I'm thinking that with your schedule and the strenuous kind of work you do, maybe only a once per week weigh-in might be best? Your day to day weigh-ins are going to be all over the place because of the water retention issue. At least, only take the 1x per week weigh-in seriously.
Another field day mostly on foot. I'm beat. Probably covered 5 miles through the woods.
We had a kitten and a puppy follow us today. The kitten wised up rather quickly, but the puppy followed us for a long time until she got tired and laid down for a nap. She was waiting there when we came back 2 hours later. She was settling down for another nap when we left her at her home.
We also saw 4 rabbits and about 10 deer today. A nice critter day and lots of distance made.
