No need to cut cals. When you plateau (which I don't believe you're doing anyway) increasing calories is the way to break it-not cutting them. The whole reason for the plateau is a slowdown in metabolism. Cutting calories will only reduce it further. A week or two at maintanance is the way to go. This boosts the metabolism, allowing for continued weightloss.

I don't know what makes you think otherwise, but I would suggest doing some better research before you start posting crap like that in other people's diaries.

About 2- try more fiber in your diet. More veggies, fruits, raisin bran crunch is my favorite healthy cereal. And coffee makes me 2 too. hah.

As to the #2 problem, I would get some benefiber and start putting it in your water a few times a day. That will really help. Also, try eating more fruits and veggies. And, there are some whole grain breads out there that have 6-7g of fiber per slice. Aunt Millie's makes a few of them. You should be getting about 25-35g of fiber per day. If you do, everything will come out just fine..lol ;)

:) Thanks for the congrats hun! For the #2 prob, I'll have to pick up some benefiber. I always see the commercials but just hate the idea of actually taking it. I'm one of those people who avoids taking anything unless it's completely necessary :/ but I guess this would be one of those times, I don't wanna go septic. lol.

Elle has been on here all the time in the past 2 months. Giving support to all kinds of people all the time. I happen to be one of them. She was the 1st person on her to welcome me to the forum and to encourage me when I wasn't doing well. It's only been in the last 2 weeks that things have gotten busy for her. And to not even give her kudos for her 20 pound lose but slam her for NOT trying is way out of line.
Just sticking up for my peep. So if you think I am outta line sorry, but I am not going to let you treat her that way. It doesn't take much for a person to get discouraged and your post would not by any means be considered an encouragment.

okay, so I'm just making this update quick cause David is here and we're both pretty "sleepy". lol. The past few days, my weight went up to 193.5 then 193 yesterday (sunday) and I woke up today (yeah, i mean monday but I know it's technically tuesday) I weighed and was 191. Pretty damn exciting! And to add to my excitement, I finally looked in the mirror today and noticed a difference in how I look. I didn't see the killer whale that I usually see, it was wonderful. And I also tried on my Columbia fleece that I hadn't worn since last winter. Last winter it was skin tight on me and now it's freaking loose! *happy*

Okay, I need to get some sleep but I'll be on tomorrow, I PROMISE!
Love you all so much and thanks for all the constant support even in my absence, it means a lot to me girls... it really does. <3

As for my update for today, Sorry I didn't get to it. I had a pretty nice day of sleeping in with David then we had to run around and do some stuff. Reached 190.5 today, pretty sure I'll gain tomorrow because we made tacos for dinner. I only ate 2 though and they were pretty healthy. Mostly lots of veggies and a bit of beef and chicken. yumm! Right now though, I think I'm gonna go practice guitar for a bit.

OH! Went to Border's today and we picked up a funny book that might be a bit of fun... For all you freaks out there:

Yah.... that book is so so. I got it as a gift from my best friend, because he thought it would "spice things up" betw/ Sean and I. Ummmmm helllooooooo.... Other than those weird as impossible positions that they created for the sake of filling in their book, I can proudly say, those positions fall into the "fundamentals." Pardon me while I go toot my own horn on this end. LOL! Love you, elle... By the way... damn girl... you're almost at the 180s! Rock it, little mama!!

I can agree with the book. We saw it in the bookstore and flipped through a few pages and thought it was be fun. But once we got home and looked through it, it's not all that interesting. There's positions that are repeated like 5 times, then there's the ones just like you said... impossible. So I guess it's not that great of a buy but the coments under some and some of the names make ya laugh. oh well!

And thanks! 180's I am excited for. :)

So now that I have a day off and some time to myself I figured I'd hop on here for awhile.

Weight has been fluctuating a bit lately so I'm up to 191 right now. I figure that's fine though, not every day is a loss and tomorrow I'm going to the amazing maize maze. That thing's huge. I already went to it once this year but this time, we want to try for a better time. So that should be fun. PLUS... I have an obsession with goats. They're stupidly cute. And they have goats there so whenever I'm there I end up spending at least a half hour just hanging out with them. Not to mention like five bucks in goat food. lol. :p

Today David and I went and did some running around. Had to do a bunch of bs at verizon... verizon, you suck! He had to put in a rental application someplace down the road from me. Bank. And we stopped at the music store so I could pick up a guitar songbook that I've been coveting for awhile. And I finally got it, yay me! Then we went to the ymca to see how much a membership would be. It's not that bad in comparison to the gym we were thinking about joining. And plus at the y, they have a ton more things there than just equipment. So I think we'll be joining in the next few months. :D

Well, that's all I've got to update on right now so Imma go check out diaries and such then rock out on the guitar for a bit then either go for a walk or stay in and do a few dvds. Fun stuffs.

Ah, petting zoos. I love them.

At our zoo here, we can also feed the giraffes, which is fun, but slobbery. They grab the food with these foot long tongues and totally slime you.

Enjoy the maze, those are a lot of fun...but they kind of creep me out.
