Hey wanted to let you know that there is this stuff at Wal-Mart that you can get over the counter that is for pink eye. I had a bad case of it about a year ago and the pharmacist recommended it to me. I can't recall what it was called but it was cheap and it worked. So talk to your local pharmacist before you go to the doc. Could save you a buncha dough! If it is not pink eye it won't hurt to try it.

Elle, I'm sorry to hear about your knee troubles. I hope it starts feeling better with the exercise and losing the weight. I think your going to look great on your anniversary. I sure am hoping that i am able to buy some cute clothes for my 6th wedding anniversary and 9 years total together. :)

Keep up the great work and congrats on the weightloss so far your going to be in Onederland so soon.

A little heat on the knee then ice afterwards seemed to help today. :]

oooooh! I didn't know that! If it's not better by later today I will definitely go and search out that stuff. It'll be WAY cheaper than the doctor's seeing as how I lost my health insurance and just walking into the doc's office costs me like $65. lol.

Thanks Heather!! I'm sure losing a bunch of weight can only make my knee feel better than it does now with a ton of extra pounds weighing down on it. :) That's so exciting about your anniversary! When is it? You'll be one foxy momma, I know it!!
 
So yet again I'm awake. I was pretty tired early on last night but I took some simply sleep to help get the edge off, otherwise I'm positive that I wouldn't be able to fall asleep. Ended up getting sleep to sleep at like 10.30pm but woke up at around 2.30am. Ick. I had to pee. Must've been the 2 gallons of water I drank. lol.

Speaking of water, is there such a thing as drinking too much water? I'll google it after I post so I guess that's more of a rhetorical question.

I couldn't do as much exercise yesterday that I wanted to but I got some crunches, push ups and leg lifts in. The push ups killed the knee but I put the heating pad on it and then some ice after the heat. Seemed to help it a bit.

When I woke up I looked at the scale and it said 200.5lbs! I'm not counting that as my weight because I'm gonna get some more sleep but I'm gonna hope that it's still there or lower by morning! :jump:

For the past few days I've been craving pizza. My mom brought some home form work(she's a cook at a senior living/rehabilitation place) that she had made and I ended up having a piece. Then later on I had another. They were about 3"x3" squares. Not too bad I guess seeing as how even despite eating them I still lost some weight. I now know that I can handle eating food that isn't really good for me in moderation. I'm not going to make a habit of it by any means but it's nice to know that if I ever go out to eat with friends while I'm dieting that I'll be able to do it without ruining my diet.


Well, I think I need to try and get some more sleep. I'm starting to get tired so that's a good sign. :)

I'll check back tomorrow. It should be a pretty relaxed day so that'll be goooooooood!

Way to go Elle with not letting your injury prevent you from working out. Just be careful with that knee. You don't want it to get so bad that you can't exercise at all.
And I am so proud of your resistance to the pizza! :jump: I don't know that I could resist it as well as you did.
And thank you for the kind words for Gil. I am afraid that if his knee doesn't get better soon he may need surgery. The physical therapy doesn't seem to be cutting it for him.
Keep up all the hard work. Your doing great!!!!!

As for mine, I usually respect its limits so I know when to quit. :]

Thanks Jenna! I forgot to weigh myself this morning so I don't know what I actually weighed. lol.

I had a ton of fun with the puppy, I haven't been able to see him in like a month or so. He got really excited and was just running around like a mad man when he saw me. I guess half of it is probably because he's a chihuahua. :rolleyes: but I like to think it was because of me. lol

My weekend was pretty decent. Cleaned and rearranged a few rooms in my house today, so I'm ridiculously beat. lol. Pizza is simply delish. A little indulgence is needed every once in awhile, I do believe. :]

ooooh and I'm in love with puppies. Our dog is almost a year old but I just can't deal with calling him a 'dog' just yet cause he's so tiny, I'll call him a puppy until he's old. lol.

I agree. A little indulgence in moderation is good--it's when it's out of control that it's bad.

His name's Changa and he's a deer head, chocolate and tan chihuahua. He's a little runt but thinks he's a freakin doberman. He looks like one though, so I guess all he's missing is the size. His name is a teence horrid, It's fully: Chimmichanga. But luckily they called him Changa. We got him from a friend when he was about 3 months old and he already knew his name so we decided to keep it just so he wouldn't be confused. :confused: still... the name is kinda icky but I guess it suits him.

Haha! I've always had bad experiences with chihuahuas. In fact, there is a house I go by all the time on my walks, and when that damn dog is out, he runs over to me and barks his little head off, and acts like he's going to shred my ankles. So I yell at him and clap my hands, trying to scare him off. But the little bugger isn't afraid at all. So I have to start running down the road to get away from the tiny shit..lol That breed has more balls than any other breed. I could strangle that dog if I felt like it (and I often do!), yet he acts like he's the one who weighs 237lbs! :rotflmao: I think Chimmichanga is a very appropriate name--that or Bruiser, since you're name is Elle (ala Legally Blonde). :)

:rotflmao: I can totally imagine the scene in my head of you yelling and clapping at the dog, hilarious. :p Our dog will just bark when someone comes in the house but once you pet him or we tell him that it's okay, he shuts up. He's pretty dim witted overall but he's a cutie. lol.
The legally blonde thing is really funny, before the movie came out I was always called elle and wanted a chihuahua and was a cheerleader. So I kinda kinda fit the blonde ditz part. lol
 
Hi elle, How are you doing? I see you have a little puppy. Sorry you don't get to see him that often. I have 3 dogs at my house which i still call puppies and they are almost 7 years old. they are far from being puppies too i couldn't pick them up if i wanted to. they weigh between 60-90 lbs. anyways hope your weekend was good and that your week is just as good.
