Okay so I got really crappy sleep last night. Kept waking up almost every 2 hours.

So I think I'm gonna try and get another hour or so in before I go running around.
My knee is killing me. I've had 2 surgeries on this beast and it never seems to get any better. Ever since I can remember my knee has always hurt and has "given out" a lot while running/exercising.
When I was 12 we decided to go to the orthopedic surgeon to see what was up with it. Got x-rays and all that jazz and turns out I had bone fragments floating around in there ripping apart the cartilage and tissues in my knee. I got surgery where they drilled into my knee to promote bleeding in hopes that the bone fragments would re attach themselves. They healed and everything seemed like it was hunky dory for a few months. After my knee was done healing (according to the doctor) it still hurt.
Fast forward to when I'm 18. Working at a restaurant as a hostess/sales support person. Busy day and I'm running around all day as usual. Suddenly it feels like an earthquake. I ask anyone else if they felt that and they said no. Then I go to walk and I realize that my knee has locked up. Hobbled over to a table with the help of a friend and sit down. I can't bend my knee at all.
So the next day I go back to my doc and they take a ton of x-rays. I find out that all of the pieces broke free and in addition to that I had more pieces because those original ones broke into smaller pieces and apparently more of my bone had broken off. I find out that my meniscus had torn. And the cartilage in my knee was pretty much shot. Have surgery again but this time they remove the bone pieces. The doctor said he couldn't fix the tear in my meniscus because of the spot that it was in was hard to get to and it was too close to a nerve sack. Healing, blah blah blah, had to leave my job because my knee couldn't handle it anymore, blah blah blah, months of physical therapy.
Now I'm 20, have had 2 knee surgeries and my knee is still fuct. The doctor admitted that he must have nicked my nerve sack and that's why I can't feel the top of my knee anymore. ass.
Stupid knee. lol. There's my sob story guys. The knee is a lot of the reason why I've gained weight over the years. Even walking around a store for 30 minutes is pure agony. I'm not saying that that's the whole reason why I've gained weight, I've made some bad ass food choices in the time too, so I'm not blaming the knee for it all. lol.
Okay, I'm going to get another half hour or so of sleep. Talk to you all later!! Have a fab day ladies.
xoxo
